Summary of Duties:

Build and own the roadmap and outcomes for your space. The roadmap will embody ideas on how we can create sustained competitive advantages. Provide strategic direction to the product. Provide prioritization, groom and plan the backlog. Work with the team in defining the schedule and support with managing risks and issues. Collaborates primarily with stakeholders and customers to identify and close product gaps. Involved in all stages of the product lifecycle. Uses various technologies and system views and acts as conduit across customers to solve complex business problems. Ability to effectively organize and present data in a format that is easily consumable by non-technical users. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

100% telecommuting role. Reports to headquarters in Grapevine, TX. Can work remotely or telecommute.

Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Management, Business Administration or related field of study AND Three (3) Years of experience in the job offered or related occupation in which the required experience was gained. Must also have demonstrated experience with:

  • Technical product management for a software product;
  • ERP implementations (SAP S4/Hana or BTP – Cloud SAS);
  • Base SAP financial modules (AR, AP, PO, SO, GL, or Inventory);
  • Working with development teams on Data Migration and Data Integration activities;
  • Building and managing a roadmap;
  • Gathering and communicating requirements to a software engineering team using methodology-specific artifacts;
  • Technical aspects (architecture, development methodologies or best practices);
  • Agile Methodology and tools (JIRA or confluence).

Salary: $158,766 – $220,000 / year

Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm

Description

SUMMARY

Working with general supervision, the Video Production & Associate Experience Specialist will oversee all aspects of our video production strategy, as well as assist with internal communications and associate engagement projects. This role interacts with a supervisor several times a week, perhaps daily, to receive guidance and feedback.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*

  • Identify impactful weekly content designed around storytelling principles to personalize the narrative in a way that resonates, is relatable, and captures GameStop’s culture and values
  • Direct, shoot, and capture great performances/stories from internal staff
  • Capture video content during live events, behind-the-scenes and in scripted environments
  • Capture and cleanly key green screen shoots
  • Quickly and efficiently edit high-quality video for internal distribution
  • With supervisor vision, assist with monthly webinar scripting and video production, and executive presentation assistance for employee events
  • In partnership with the Store Training specialist, plan, script, produce, film, and edit necessary Store training videos
  • Well versed in equipment and processes to execute live streaming and online productions
  • Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders to develop clear, consistent, and creative stories, that drive strategic business objectives
  • With supervisor guidance, moderate associate comments and feedback on internal communication channels
  • Partner with the Creative Services team to develop complementary visuals and videos for internal use, when appropriate, like managing posters, acrylics, and internal TVs throughout the building
  • Assist Sr. Specialist Communications, Events & Engagement with high priority engagement projects
  • Collect and analyze data to support internal stakeholders in understanding performance of communications’ tactics, adjusting strategies and optimizing approaches
  • Due to the nature of our associate engagement and experience projects including national video content, and in-person events, some evenings, weekends, and travel may be required (less than 10%)

  • Video Production- Superior camera skills with creative eye and working knowledge of various types of cameras
  • Curating Content: Candidates must demonstrate skill in working on multiple digital platforms and with varied means of storytelling, including video, podcasts, infographics and more
  • Communication- Clearly convey information and ideas through a variety of media to individuals or groups in a manner that engages the audience and helps them understand and retain the message
  • Planning and Organizing- Identifies more critical and less critical activities and tasks; adjusts priorities when appropriate
  • Customer Focus- Ensuring that the customer perspective is a driving force behind decisions; crafting and implementing service practices that meet customers’ and organization’s needs
  • Continuous Improvement- Reviews processes to determine any gaps between current outputs and expected requirements

BASIC AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Video Journalism, Video Production; at least three years of additional related experience may be considered in substitution
  • 1-2 years experience in video production, post-production and related experience
  • Communications experience a plus
  • Portfolio of your work is required

  • Proficient knowledge of Windows-based business computers and Microsoft Office programs; specifically, Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Proficient knowledge of Adobe CC Suite including Adobe Premier, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe After Effects.
  • Demonstrated ability to model customer-focused behaviors leading to outstanding customer experiences
