Head of Activation – Creo

CREO is Omnicom Media Group’s (OMG) Influencer marketing agency. At its core, the business unit delivers data-driven influencer planning and activation as an integrated part of our clients’ media plans. We are seeking a proven Head of Activation to deliver scaled excellence and improve revenue delivery within a growing product.

The Head of Activation will apply his/her/their experience and vision to drive success across client base and team members, subsequently improving client experience in. They will serve as a key member of Creo’s leadership team by fostering a culture of solution-finding and excellence.

Reporting Relationship:

The Head of Activation reports to the President, Creo.

Responsibilities include:

  • Expand Creo’s client service apparatus in the US – specifically to accommodate growth plans inside and outside OMC while growing lines of service
  • Increase team member efficiency through product improvement, bandwidth tracking and integration of Springboard team members where applicable
  • Improve organizational growth plans within client service, specifically to accommodate end-to-end independent business
  • Develop strong relationships with client leaders inside and outside of Omnicom
  • Evolve both paid social and creator activation offering in a fast-moving space to pace ahead of industry trends in tandem with OMG and OMC team members
  • Evangelize CREO’s cause through industry thought leadership, whether through published work or speaking opportunities
  • Contribute to building a diverse, equitable and inclusive culture, where every employee feels a sense of belonging
  • Coordinate activation efforts with the company’s financial teams for revenue recognition

Required Education and Experience:

  • 10+ years of agency management in the marketing including 5+ within influencer field
  • High aptitude for leading matrix-ed teams
  • Proven experience in growing brands and capabilities
  • Experience in expanding
  • Dexterity to drive innovation and integrate data solutions across offerings

Role: Manager, Commerce – Analytics at OmnicomMediaGroup

Location: NYC

Job Summary

OMD is seeking a full-time Manager, Commerce – Analytics to join a large luxury and beauty team. You will be responsible for building a strong presence and delivering on market share growth across critical digital commerce platforms. This role will be client facing, and requires strong communication, presentation, and project management skills.

As a Manager, you will be challenged to manage projects to successful completion while collaborating with Associates and Senior Associates. Through data-driven insights, you will have the opportunity to shape the strategic direction of a client’s marketing strategy.

  • Analysis and measurement of search and display advertising performance
  • Extracting data from media event level databases for analysis and insights generation
  • Proactively identifying opportunities for media optimization within the search and programmatic channels
  • Generating and communicating clear, compelling and actionable insights
  • Evaluating ad partners and providing thought leadership of ad-tech and measurement technologies
  • Presenting reports and proposals to clients during monthly and weekly phone calls

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Information Management, Social Sciences and/or Business/Marketing related fields (advanced degree – MBA/MS – is preferred)
  • 3-5 years of experience in a quantitative data driven field
  • Intermediate or advanced SQL proficiency
  • Experience in A/B and multivariate testing
  • Knowledge of digital ad technologies and research techniques (how they work and how to troubleshoot)
  • Ability to move beyond descriptive analytics and employ more sophisticated techniques (predictive & prescriptive analytics)
  • Ability to clearly explain complex technical ideas to multiple audiences both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to work well with others and work in cross functional teams

Desired Technical Skills

  • Experience/familiarity with search experimentation and analysis.
  • Experience/familiarity with gathering data and insights from top digital platforms such as:
  • DMP’s (Adobe, Neustar, etc.)
  • DoubleClick: Search, Display, Campaign Manager, Audience Center
  • Google Analytics 360
  • Attribution Vendors (e.g., Adometry/GA 360, VisualIQ)
  • Measurement Tools (e.g., ComScore, Nielson)
  • Experience with processing and analyzing event-level data
  • Experience/ familiarity in building and modifying performance dashboards (e.g. Tableau, Datorama, QlickView, etc.)
  • Experience/familiarity with measurement research sources/tools (e.g. Millward Brown, Nielsen, comScore)
  • Experience/familiarity with digital ad effectiveness research
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Compensation Range: $75,000 – 95,000 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Responsibilities:

Social Directors oversee the strategic planning and complete implementation across paid social initiatives. The position handles client stewardship and is responsible for all aspects of campaign success. Directors work with the integrated media, creative and data teams across national offices. Directors must have deep social experience as well as multichannel expertise with excellent client management skills.

  • Develop highly strategic and innovative social strategy recommendations that align with campaign and business objectives
  • Lead client relationship for all aspects of paid social – ensuring trust in agency and team to drive data-driven results
  • Uncover/understand objectives, challenges and needs by performing regular client needs assessments, check-ins and interfacing regularly with senior level
  • Analytical ability to extract insight/actions from data and relate the “story” back to client’s business goals
  • Establish and maintain a management framework that allows for visibility into team performance against client goals and objectives
  • Leads innovation and vision– new products and enhancements and help identify and test new channels and products, highlighting results and sharing across organization and externally
  • Demonstrate thought leadership with clients by developing and presenting industry/market research findings, search and social trends, benchmarking and other pertinent information
  • Actively drive long range strategic planning for client
  • Allocate resources to allow for both meeting the client’s current needs but also investing and focusing efforts for future growth
  • stablish/grow senior relationships with clients and relevant partner agencies
  • Lead the development of internal process and quality control initiatives that ensure error-free execution of all tasks

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in a complex, technical product environment, including at least five years of PAID SOCIAL
  • In-depth understanding of social media campaign management and optimization practices
  • Be a proactive self-starter with experience leading large accounts within an agency in an integrated fashion (collaboration, data sharing, co-leading efforts focused on client satisfaction, growth, performance vs KPI’s)
  • Strong management skills

  • Polished presentation, communication, and analytical skills
  • Prepared to meet and exceed revenue goals and quotas
  • Outstanding ability to build partnerships and manage and develop a cohesive team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of stress tolerance

  • Strong communicator and presenter, able to present and articulate persuasive and cohesive presentations and points-of-view
  • Trusted advisor to senior client and be seen as a vital part of their team; represent the voice of the client within OMG
