A non-union commercial campaign in Toronto is casting a male bodybuilder or strong man, ages 20–50, with a big, broad, and powerful presence paired with a warm, approachable personality. The selected performer will take on the unexpected role of a ballet dancer, creating a fun contrast between physical strength and graceful movement. Previous dance or movement experience is a bonus but is not required. Talent will be required to eat a protein bar during production.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform as a bodybuilder or strong man in a professional commercial campaign.
- Participate in movement and ballet-inspired scenes for the production.
- Attend required rehearsals, wardrobe fitting, and filming.
- Take direction and perform physical movements comfortably on camera.
- Eat the featured protein bar product during filming.
Requirements
- Male talent ages 20–50.
- Must have a bodybuilder, strong man, or similarly big, broad, and powerful physique.
- Must have a warm, friendly, and approachable presence.
- Dance or movement experience is a plus but not required.
- Must be comfortable performing ballet-inspired movement.
- Must be able to safely consume the featured protein bar.
- Must have no food allergies or dietary restrictions involving the product’s ingredients, including dairy, peanuts, or wheat.
Compensation
- Rehearsal: $1,200 per day, likely two 10-hour days.
- Session: $1,200 for a 10-hour day.
- Wardrobe: $75.
- Motion buyout: $2,000 if used.
- Print buyout: $2,000 if used.
- Buyout is based on survival of the edit and includes lifts, edits, and versions.
