‘Dog Whisperer’ Cesar Millan sued over alleged pit bull attack.
According to reports, Dog Whisperer Cesar Millan is being sued by a woman who claims a prematurely released pit bull viciously attacked her.
Alison Bitney, a critical care nurse in Florida, was attacked on Sept. 23, 2014, and said that she suffered “disfiguring open wounds [and] deep muscle and tendon lacerations” six days following the release of the dog, named Gus, from Millan’s Dog Psychology Center.
The complaint states that the nurse permanently lost both function and feeling in her left hand following the attack, the L.A. Times reports. Bitney claims that Gus bit her while she was visiting friend John Vazzoler‘s home in Santa Clarita, Calif. [via]
A judge ordered for the dog to be killed on February 26, after he attacked another person three times, requiring the person to get reconstructive surgery and leaving her with scars, according to Courthouse News reports. But, the owner appealed the decision and the dog was sent to The Dog Psychology center, the center prematurely released the known vicious and dangerous pit bull back into the public and entrusted it to someone with no training or experience in the handling of vicious and dangerous dogs.
Cesar Millan and his DPC are accused of negligence for prematurely releasing a pit bull that has a history of attacks on humans and animals. However, the Jen Woodard the director of the Dog Psychology Center claims that Cesar Milan never had contact with the dog.

A represenative for Lark Voorhies, the actress who played Lisa in the TV series explained her absence to The Hollywood Reporter.
“Lark would have loved to be part of the [Fallon sketch],” replied Jennifer Wolfson in a statement. “However due to an intense work schedule she was not available.”
Wolfson did not elaborate on Voorhies’ work schedule, but did say that the actress is a “big fan” of Fallon’s Tonight Show.

HBO TV Pilot “Divorce” Starring Sarah Jessica Parker is looking for extras in New York City.
Grant Wilfley Casting is looking for people to work on the HBO pilot ‘Divorce’ starring Sarah Jessica Parker.

“Divorce” centers around “a middle-aged woman (Parker) who, influenced by her two single friends, impulsively brings up the idea of divorce with her husband but then can’t decide whether to actually go through with it — until her husband discovers the affair she’s been having and calls the marriage off.”
Should the project get picked up, it will mark Parker’s first major television role since “Sex and the City.” Her only other recent TV appearance was a recurring part as a fashion editor on “Glee” during the show’s fourth season.
Casting directors are looking for lavish, upscale, rich, and trendy types in New York City. Filming will take place on February 17th until March 13th.

The Fifty Shades of Grey movie was banned in Malaysia.
Fifty Shades of Grey premieres in Berlin next week but, will not be released in Malaysia. The film was denied a certificate by the Malaysian Film Censorship Board and the February 12th release has been cancelled, according to Variety.
The LPF chairman Abdul Halim Abdul Hamid said it is “more pornography than a movie.”
“The board made a decision in view of the film containing scenes that are not of natural sexual content. The content is more sadistic, featuring scenes of a woman being tied to a bed and whipped,” Abdul Halim said.
“The Fifty Shades of Grey” features Jamie Dornan as a wealthy businessman and Dakota Johnson as a literature student who develop a relationship featuring bondage sex. The movie is based on best-selling novel by E.L. James.

MTV and Nickelodeon ratings drop 23% because of Netflix!
Netflix and streaming services are starting to have a major impact on traditional TV viewing. Total live TV ratings were down 12.7 percent year over year across the major media networks, according to Nomoura Research.
Nomura analyst Anthony DiClemente argued that this was “one of the worst declines we have seen since we have launched coverage of these companies.”
But, this begs the question: Why is live TV struggling? DiClemente asserts that streaming services is the reason for the major decline: “Netflix, Amazon Instant Video, and Hulu, continue to siphon viewers away from linear TV,” he concluded.
However, There are major differences between individual networks. January was a horrible month for Viacom, which saw ratings decline by 23 percent compared to January 2014, with MTV and Nickelodeon suffering major declines. While, Disney only faced ratings declines of 7.5 percent, thanks in part to great ratings for ESPN.
Nickelodeon executives have noticed the drop in ratings and plan on creating a standalone streaming app.
Viacom chief executive Philippe Dauman told an earnings conference call the new “direct-to-consumer subscription service” would be launched in March.
“We believe this innovative service, which will have a distinct brand and will target the fast-growing mobile market, will be very attractive for parents and children,” Dauman said, noting that details will be announced next month. [via]
Numbers like these show that online video viewing is steadily increasing and live TV is dying. Research shows that the average person watches an average of 90 minutes of Netflix programming every day.
