CBS ‘Limitless’ Casting Call for REAL Veterans in New York City.

Casting directors are looking for real military veterans to work on an upcoming scene filming in New York City. Filming takes place on Monday, September 14th in NYC and casting directors are casting men and women to portray military veterans in a winter scene.

Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci, along with Bradley Cooper and Todd Phillips are developing a TV version of Bradley Cooper’s 2011 hit movie, “Limitless” and will air on CBS. The TV series is expected to pick up where the movie left off, following Brian Sinclair as he discovers the power of the drug NZT, and is coerced into using its enhanced abilities for good.

Georgia announced that they plan to become the filmmaking capital of the world and double the number of productions by 2017. Since, Georgia created their tax incentive plan for their film industry Hollywood producers are rushing to Georgia to film new TV shows, movies, and reality shows. Some of the biggest actors are heading to Peach State to film their new shows and movies in the area. Here are the 5 new shows and movies coming to film in Georgia.

1. Gifted – Feature Film

Gifted centers around a man who sues for custody of his gifted niece. Gifted is directed by Marc Webb, the director behind The Amazing Spider-Man 2. According to the Savannah Film Commision Chris Evans’ new movie ‘Gifted’ will start filming in Savannah, Georgia this fall.

2. Cutting It In Atlanta – WeTV Reality Show

Atlanta is home to America’s most talented, daring and in-demand hair stylists, and at the top, competition is the most cutthroat. Cutting It: In the ATL follows four glamorous and headstrong salon owners as they compete to bring in the most business and dominate the Atlanta hair game.

3. Greenleaf – OWN Reality Show

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Greenleaf is “described as the center of the community for the thousands of predominantly African-American members who attend services there. But beneath its steeple lies a den of iniquity — greed, adultery, sibling rivalry and conflicting values.”

Greenleaf is described on a the level of deception and mystery that surrounds the church’s founding family and the church’s congregation and Memphis community. Despite all of the drama, everyone feels that they have a conscience for their sins.

4. What Josiah Saw – Indie Feature Film

According to IMDB, What Josiah Saw centers around  “A family with buried secrets reunite at a farmhouse after two decades to pay for their past sins.” The movie will be directed by Vincent Grashaw.

5. Little Women Atlanta – Reality Show

According to reports, Lifetime is currently casting in New York, Atlanta an Miami for several potential spinoffs.

Lifetime hasn’t confirmed its plans. But the success of the show, which comes from producer Kinetic Content (The Taste), already has execs thinking this could be Lifetime’s equivalent of the Real Housewives franchise, which has proven to be a huge brand for Bravo.

The series is written by Craig Wright, the writer behind several major TV shows including Six Feet Under, Lost, and Tyrant. Wright, who is a graduate of the United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities and a former minister, will write the scripts and executive produce alongside Winfrey.

“To tell this potentially explosive story with Oprah, a partner who has as much respect and affection for the church as I do, whose entire body of work is infused with what I would call a faith-based humanism, is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. A blessing, even,” Wright said.

This will be the second original scripted series that is not produced or written by Tyler Perry. Until Ava DuVernay’s new series Queen Sugar, OWN’s scripted lineup only featured Tyler Perry produced productions.

According to Come Tour Georgia, Greenleaf will film in the Georgia area in the next few weeks.

‘Wonder Woman’ to Start Filming this November

Filming for the next Wonder Woman movie to start in November.

Wonder Woman is the next superhero movie that Warner Bros./DC plans to release in theaters, and it will be overseen by the director of Monster, Patty Jenkins. However, will not see Wonder Woman until Summer 2016, after it has followed a pair of comic book adaptations in 2016 including Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad. That being said, a Fall 2015 start date for filming has been reported.

Producer of all upcoming live-action films in the DC Universe and wife to the director of Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, Deborah Snyder, has now confirmed that filming on Wonder Woman will start within a couple of months. As such, more casting calls and details on the movie should follow shortly.

It’s now official that Wonder Woman starts filming in November, as confirmed by Deborah Snyder, when she recently spoke about the movie at the GEena Davis Institute.

“We still wanted a female director and we found Patty Jenkins, who had the right vision and the same vision that we had for the character. We’re really happy that we’re going to be going into production in November, it’s been a really great process. We’ve tried to hire as many female members of the crew as possible.”

Screenwriter Jason Fuchs, the same writer behind Pan, will write the script for Wonder Woman, but the film’s screenplay development, as well as the project overall, has always been under the direction of a woman, says Deborah Snyder. It was first Michelle MacLaren, then Jenkins when MacLaren and WB/DC spit. Wonder Woman will partially film in Italy, to serve as Diana’s home island of Themyscira.

So far, Gal Gadot is scheduled to reprise as Diana Prince in Wonder Woman, after she makes her screen debut in Batman V. Superman. Chris Pine is rumored to join the cast as Steve Trevor. Trevor was introduced in Wonder Woman comics in the early 1940s, as a WWII-era Air Corps pilot. He crashed his plane and was then nursed back to health by Diana, where they end up falling in love.

Rumors have surfaced that allege the Jenkins take on the movie will partially take place in WWI, however it’s possible for Trevor to meet Diana during another point in time. In fact, concept art displayed by WB?DC showed at its 2015 San Diego Comic-Con panel suggests the second World War will be part of the story. However, it is not clear how much of an impact that will have on the upcoming feature film. That being the case, it could be possible that Chris Pine’s character Steve Trevor exists in Wonder Woman’s present-day and severs as a connectionb etween the U.S. government and Diana. Therefore, A.R.G.U.S. is introduced in either Wonder Woman or later Justice League movies.

Here is how Pinewood Atlanta Studios is quickly transforming Georgia’s film industry to become the filmmaking capital of the world.

Georgia’s film industry is the fastest growing film production market in the world. With reports of Georgia’s plan to overtake Los Angeles and become the filmmaking capital in the world, it interesting to see the forces that are making it possible.

Outside of the 30% of the tax credit system provided by the Georgia Film Commission, Pinewood Atlanta Studios has helped Georgia become a force to be reckoned with in the film industry.

According to their website, “Pinewood Atlanta Studios is a full service film and entertainment studio complex comprised of 11 sound stages on 700 acres in Fayetteville, Georgia USA, just south of Atlanta. This is a world-class studio purpose built for the production of film, television, music and video games.” The film studio has 11 sound stages, 400,000 sq ft. of workshop, office and production support facilities, a backlot including rivers, forests, and open areas for filming, and an onsite media hub. Therefore, making Pinewood Atlanta Studios a one-stop-shop for filmmakers.

Pinewood Atlanta Studios has become so influential in drawing major films that Marvel has basically called Atlanta the filmmaking capital of all of their future movies. As Project Casting reported Marvel’s Ant-Man and Captain America: Civil War, both filmed in Pinewood Atlanta Studios. And Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy 2 and Thor: Ragnarok will also film Atlanta, Georgia.

But, Pinewood Atlanta Studios is not stopping there. According to the Atlanta Business Chronicle, there are reports that the Georgia Film Academy, a government sponsored education program to increase the number of talented crew members in Georgia, will be housed in the newly constructed Pinewood Atlanta Studios.

Last week, Pinewood Atlanta Studios architect Bill Foley told the Fayetteville City Council the academy would be located in the Pinewood Production Centre, across the street from the 288-acre studio complex where “Captain America 3: Civil War” is reportedly filming now.

Foley said the academy would open this summer and the program would begin with 50 students.
Pinewood developer Jim Pace said the studio has been working with film academy organizers for the past two years, and they have indicated they plan to be located at Pinewood. Pinewood is currently in the process of drafting a Letter of Intent with the University System of Georgia’s Board of Regents.

Pinewood Atlanta Studios is only going to continue to grow. According to announcement by the Pinewood Group, there was a spike in profits “driven by the newly operational Pinewood Atlanta Studios.” In fact, In the year ending March 2015, Pinewood Atlanta Studios made $9.1 million in revenue and recorded a profit of about $2 million.
