Jack Black reveals he battled a serious cocaine addiction since he was 14 years old.

Jack Black was only 14 years old when he became addicted to cocaine. Recently, the actor opened up about his troubled youth and revealed he “cried like a baby” when he admitted to his school therapist about the drug addiction.

Jack Black, who is currently promoting his new movie, Goosebumps which filmed in Atlanta, Georgia,revealed that for over 32 years he has had a really bad addiction to cocaine. As times progressed, things got worse and the actor admitted to even stealing from his own mother to get money for the booger sugar. Thankfully, Jack Black was able to talk to his school therapist about his addiction which helped him become sober.

“I was having a lot of troubles with cocaine … I was hanging out with some pretty rough characters,” he continued to say. “I was scared to go to school [because] one of them wanted to kill me. I wanted to get out of there.” Jack’s parents heard his cry for help and enrolled him in Poseidon, a school for troubled youths in the Los Angeles area. Imagine if Jack didn’t transfer schools or meet the school therapist that helped him become sober. He wouldn’t have been able to discover his love for acting!

Jack Black also touched on his latest movie Goosebumps, saying “The books are really funny and scary and exciting and we just wanted the movie to be as awesome and cool as the book series was and I think we cracked the code,” he told Good Morning America.

Jack Black will play R.L. Stine, whose creatures come to life forcing a group of kids to stop them.

Bryan Cranston: I Want to Play a Marvel Villain

It looks as though Breaking Bad star Bryan Cranston is ready to join the Marvel universe.

After earning a huge fan base and several major acting awards, playing the meth-dealing cancer survivor on AMC’s Breaking Bad, Bryan Cranston told Metro that he wants to play a supervillain in a Marvel movie.

“You know what I’d like to do? I’d like to do some big superhero villain in some Marvel classic,” Cranston told Metro while promoting “Trumbo,” in which he stars as a blacklisted screenwriter.

Bryan Cranston doesn’t want to plan an existing comic-book villain, he wants to “create one from scratch”.

“I don’t know what I would do, but it would be nasty,” Cranston said of the villain he would invent.

Bryan Cranston should have plenty of opportunities to star in a Marvel superhero movie. The studio recently announced several new movies including Ant-Man 2, Black Panther, Captain Marvel. Meanwhile, Captain America: Civil War will hit theaters on May 6, 2016.

Bryan Cranston has been keeping busy since he left Breaking Bad. Recently, he has worked on Get a Job, In Dubious Battle, Kung Fu Panda 3 and Trumbo.

Do you think these new fall shows are going to get cancelled?

As fall TV season’s first month comes to an end, early indicators are starting to pop up and show which are going to get cancelled in the next few months.

According to ratings and Twitter trends, audiences love Blindspot on NBC, Limitless, Life in Pieces, Code Black on CBS, and ABC’s Quantico. However, many people are still calling all of the new shows released this fall season as the least impressive season in recent years.

Well, here are a list of TV shows released this year that are on track to getting cancelled.

The series features John Stamos as Jimmy Martino but, all of the camera angles in the world of John Stamos may not be able to save the TV series. Despite getting generally positive reviews on Rotten Tomatoes, according to reports, Grandfathered ratings is currently in last place with only 3.87 million viewers.

Any new show that has to face up against the NFL is going to have a tough time. That’s why ABC’s Blood & Oil is currently in trouble. The series follows a young couple who move to Rock Springs, North Dakota after the biggest oil discovery in American History. Currently, the series is in last place for ratings on a Sunday night. And things will probably only get worse as soon as The Walking Dead premieres.

‘The Player’ NBC

The Player which was previously known as Endgame is a TV series created by John Rogers and John Fox, starring Philip Winchester, Charity Wakefield, Damon Gupton, and Wesley Snipes. At of all of the Fall TV season’s new releases, The Player has some of the worst reviews. Rotten Tomatoes gives the show a 36% approval rating saying: “The Player‘s convoluted premise weighs down a game cast, bringing nothing original to the table”. But, it’s hard for NBC to compete with the critically acclaimed Shonda Rhimes series How To Get Away With Murder. Currently, The Player is last place on Thursday nights.

Rob Lowe’s comedy about a crazy actor who assumes he can practice law because he plays one on TV is struggling to find an audience. Despite getting generally positive reviews from Rotten Tomatoes the show has struggled to move past 3 million viewers.

The Muppets was one of the most hyped TV shows this fall season. But, a TV show targeted towards adults but featuring puppets has been something that audiences couldn’t get into. A show-within-a-show, The Muppets is set in Los Angeles and depicts the everyday personal and professional lives ofThe Muppets during production of Up Late with Miss Piggy; a fictional late-night talk show starring Miss Piggy and airing on the ABC network after Jimmy Kimmel Live!. Currently, The Muppets is ranked 16th out of 25 shows.

Minority Report the TV spinoff of the critically acclaimed Tom Cruise movie has struggled to find people to watch the sci-fi drama. Rotten Tomatoes reports a 28% approval rating with an average rating of 5.4/10 based on 57 reviews. The website’s consensus reads, “Lacking either the action or the imagination of its big-screen predecessor, Minority Report is a pedestrian spinoff that fails to capture the vision of the film.” Since the show first aired, ratings have plummeted and by the third episode ratings dropped by over 1 million viewers.

Comedy Central’s New TV Pilot ‘Overanalyzers’ to Film in Atlanta

Comedy Central’s new TV pilot is now hiring crew in Atlanta, Georgia.

According to deadline, Comedy Central has given a pilot order to the new series Overanalyzers, a half-hour project by the up-and-coming writer Brian Schacter.

Overanalyzers will star Echo Kellum (Ben and Kate) and will center on the misadventures of a diverse group of friends in their twenties, as the try to navigate through the cultural changes that make life a “hilarious nightmare.”

Echo Kellum has worked on several TV shows such as NBC’s Sean Saves the World and he will be playing the superhero Mr. Terrific on the CW’s Arrow. 

This will be the first TV pilot for the up-and-coming writer Brian Schacter. He previously got his big break on set of 22 Jump Street where he assisted the movie’s directors and co-writer with last minute punch lines.

Mom Allegedly Duct-Taped Kids to Chairs and Watch “Mommy Dearest”

Mom tries to allegedly brainwash and torture her kids by duct-taping them to chairs and watching the horror movie “Mommy Dearest”.

Stanley Kubrick’s movie Clockwork Orange will probably go down in history as one of the most visually striking movies in history. The 1970s crime film, which was based on the Anthony Burgess 1962 novels, focuses on the dystopian future of psychology, crime, and politics.

In one scene, the main character is forced to go through the “Ludovico technique”, a fictional psychological therapy in which it forces a patient to watch violent images for long periods of time while under the influence of a fear-inducing drug. The goal of the therapy was to condition the patient to experience severe nausea when experiencing or thinking about violence, therefore creating an aversion to violent behavior.

Well, apparently a mother must have watched Clockwork Orange as she strapped her children down and forced them to watch the Joan Crawford movie, Mommy Dearest. 

According to reports, the woman allegedly made the boys watch the film while duct-taped into their chairs. Mary Lucas, 28, admitted to Nebraska City police that she made her two boys, ages 4 and 7, watch “Hollywood’s perfect representation of a mean mother,” and because her own mother made her watch it at age 4.

Luclas claimed that she was not home when her boyfriend, Oliver “duct taped the boys to the chairs and made them watch” the 1980s movie about the movie star Joan Crawford’s callous and abusive upbringing of her adopted daughter Christina. She did acknowledge, however, telling her boyfriend that “the kids were to watch” the drama.

According to the arrest report, Lucas didn’t care when a friend texted her to report that the boys had been duct-taped. Her response at the time was, “It’s just a misunderstanding. I will take care of it when I get home.”

Police learned of the incident after a witness found photos of the boys “bound by silver gray duct tape around the mouth, wrist, chest, ankles, and head,” according to court records. Additionally, the children “were restrained to chairs by the duct tape.”

When the police asked her boyfriend, Oliver, he claimed that he was “playing with the boys and he duct taped them to the chairs.” He later admitted to taping the children “because he was tired and frustrated” because they were restless and not paying attention to “Mommie Dearest.” So, investigators noted, he bound them “so they could not move and would have to watch the movie.”

Oliver, who was charged in the past with child abuse and false imprisonment, is locked up in jail. Lucas was booked into the same facility, where she is being held in lieu of $10,000 bond.

 

How Producers Tricked, Bribed and Filmed a Porno at a L.A. High School

In a story that sounds to ridiculous to be true, a Los Angeles school district suspends filming after finding out one of their high schools was used as a set for a porno.

According to an NBC4 investigation, reporters found that some film shoots disrupted classes and damaged school property. In addition, it was discovered producers paid cash to shoot scenes for the 2012 porno, Revenge of the Petites on Hamilton’s campus and car wash scene, which included public nudity in front of the school’s parking lot. Filming took two days in October 2011, according to documents obtained by NBC4.

An unidentified official told NBC4 that had they known what the subject matter was, they would have never been allowed to film at Hamilton. In fact, the school district spokeswoman Shannon Haber said, “We immediately notified the production company that it was banned from ever using district facilities again. We also demanded that the company remove any and all images depicting the school or its students from the film,” Haber said, according to NBC4.

The Los Angeles Unified School District is temporarily suspending all commercial filming on all campuses on Thursday after it was reported that a porno was shot at Alexander Hamilton High School in 2011.

“It is important that we ensure teaching and learning are not disrupted, and that all filming activity is appropriate for our schools,” Los Angeles Unified Supt. Ramon C. Cortines said in a statement. “As an organization responsible for educating students, it is essential that we hold ourselves and our schools to a high standard.”

It begs the question why was a film crew allowed to film a movie while students were in class, let alone a porno? Well, according to THR, the L.A. Unified made nearly $10 million in the past five years from movies being shot at schools across the city. That money “has enabled our schools to fund programs and much-needed resources to improve the educational experience of their students,” he said in an earlier statement to the media.

Tyrese Gibson reveals that he doesn’t want the life of Will Smith and Vin Diesel. Instead, the actor says he would rather not become a movie star.

During a press conference in promotion of his 25-minute short film, Shame, Tyrese gibson opened up and revealed that he doesn’t want to become a movie star.

The Fast and Furious and Transformers leading man, described the struggles he faces as an actor. “When you become really successful in box office, you get typecast and put into a box,” he said, according to a report from Film Journal.

The singer then said he doesn’t want to be a “movie star,” explaining, “My interest is not to be a movie star, I’m just focused on the arts. I love it. I got a lot of people that look up to me, and the fact that I have this God-given stage to motivate and inspire people, that’s the biggest gift in the world. It’s something that I don’t take for granted.”

Even though he’s worked on several big budget movies, he is choosing to avoid becoming an A-list actor because of the pressure it puts on you as a person.

“You got people waking up every day saying, ‘How can I be more famous?’ That’s not my interest. Being around the Vin Diesels and the Will Smiths of the world, I don’t want that life,” he said. “That’s a different level of pressure that I don’t necessarily want to carry.”

Either way, Tyrese Gibson said he would love to appear several big budget movies including working with high-profile directors such as “Paul Haggis, Quentin Tarantino, Clint Eastwood, Steve McQueen, Lee Daniels,James Mangold, Martin Scorsese … these guys have a list of people they call all the time, the same f—ing people … I gotta be on this list. So instead of me complaining, I said I’m gonna create something to get on their radar.”

Los Angeles Has a Major Homeless Problem as Numbers Skyrocket

Los Angeles used to be known as the city of angels should really be changed to the city of homeless.

Recently, Mayor Eric Garcetti declared Los Angeles a state of emergency due to the 12 percent increase in homeless people in the city with Los Angeles being able to control the growing homeless population.

According to a report by THR, the number of homeless people in Los Angeles is skyrocketing. Last month, Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti declared a state of emergency, to allow for wet-weather shelters to be opened to the homeless.

HomelessThere are several factors causing this to happen. One of the factors is the rising cost of home prices in Los Angeles.

Where we are is in dire and uncharted waters, with a record 46,000 homeless in the city, a 12 percent increase in the past two years — victims of the recession and soaring rents amid a real estate boom that has raised L.A. home prices by 27 percent in just three years.

Another factor is the passage of Proposition 47.

Three groups in particular have swelled the ranks, Garcetti says: veterans, many with mental health issues; emancipated foster youth; and nonviolent offenders released from prison after the 2014 passage of Proposition 47 reduced penalties for some drug crimes.

Homeless Los Angeles

Another issue is that downtown Los Angeles, Skid Row, which has 70 percent of the homeless population, is moving out of the downtown areas into the upperclass neighborhoods.

Many are migrating out of areas like downtown’s Skid Row — where up to 70 percent of the homeless are addicted to meth and other hard drugs, notes Garcetti — and into the shadows of some of the city’s most expensive enclaves.

But the biggest problem is that there are thousands of hidden homeless people living in parks, cars, vans, and parking lots.

L.A.’s City Council District 11, which encompasses Westside neighborhoods like Pacific Palisades, Brentwood and Mar Vista, now has one of the largest homeless populations in the city — nearly 1,500, according to one recent count. Scores more “hidden homeless” live in backyards, vehicles and hillside encampments.

The mayor of Los Angeles plans to spend $100 million to help fix the growing problem. The funding will provide housing vouchers which can be used to pay rent in any apartment in Los Angeles, as long as the renter can find a landlord willing to accept the voucher.

This news comes as California earned over a billion dollars from their film tax credit program. However, as the city promises to increase minimum wage to $15 dollars an hour, many businesses are planning on cutting the number of employees or shifting to computers to make up for the higher business expenses. Therefore, pushing more people out on the street.

Justin Bieber’s father, Jeremy Bieber, apparently complimented his son on his nude photo leak on Twitter on Friday.

He tweeted at Justin, saying, “What do you feed that thing,” with the hashtag “proud daddy” and an emoji.

It looks as though Jeremy was proud to see Justin Bieber’s penis size in the nude photos that were leaked online on Wednesday afternoon. The singer’s legal team has since threatened to sue if the pictures are not taken down. But, Twitter users reacted mainly with shock, and jokes in response to Jeremy’s tweet.

Stuntman Suing ‘Amazing Spider-Man 2’ for Age-Discrimination

While age-discrimination lawsuits are pretty common in Hollywood, the latest Amazing Spider-Man 2 lawsuit takes alleged age-discrimination to a new level.

BJ Davis who is now 63 years old worked on stunts from 1979 until 2013. In the latter years, he said, mistreatment on the set of Sony’s The Amazing Spider-Man 2 ended his career in the film industry as a stuntman.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, he said he couldn’t get work on the superhero sequel, despite having a long resume of work in Hollywood. He argued that stunt coordinator James Armstrong of the stunt working company, Armstrong Action, told him the production would only hire New York stuntmen, so he moved from Los Angeles to New York, only to find out later that the production hired several nonlocal stuntmen and compensated to travel to work on the set.

“Plaintiff realized that he had been told that only New York stunt professionals were being hired in an attempt to prevent him from working on the movie due to his age,” states the complaint.

On set, Davis says Armstrong consistently assigned younger stuntmen the “premium” stunts that were worth more pay. He says younger stuntmen made disparaging remarks about Davis’ age, and Armstrong “shared the same discriminatory view, and his attitude actually encouraged the harassment.”

“Then, things got even uglier,” continues the complaint.

Davis said he was shooting a scene on or around June 8, 2013, after a safety meeting in which the stuntmen were told they would have no physical contact with one another. He says another stuntperson rushed him during one of the final takes and, states the complaint, “at full speed attempted a clothesline tackle of plaintiff, coming from his blindside. The blow stunned plaintiff and made him stagger.”

“The stunt professional who delivered this blow later told plaintiff that he was sorry, but that Mr. Armstrong had ordered the tackle. Mr. Armstrong ordered this violence toward plaintiff due to his age,” continues the complaint.

Apparently, the injuries from getting tackled were so bad that they ended his career in stunt work, according to Davis.

Following the incident, the producers “wrongfully and maliciously removed his name from the movie credits,” and he has had to “fight a continuing battle” to gain credit for the movie on IMDb.

Davis has also made several claims including discrimination under New York City and state laws, retaliation for the removal of his credit, intentional misrepresentation and concealment for telling him the scene in which he was tackled would involve no physical contact, infliction of emotional distress and several contract clauses. He is currently claiming $50,000 on 13 clauses.

A new study suggests Donald Trump supporters have terrible grammar on Facebook.

With the Presidential Campaign in full swing, millions of people are spreading their views on Facebook. So you probably saw people over the past few weeks talking about Hilary Clinton, Donald Trump and Dr. Ben Carson.

There is a new study by the proofreading company Grammarly looking at the Facebook comments of the 2016 Presidential Campaign supporters and according to the study Trump supporters have the worst grammar.

According to Grammarly they approached the study with “a light heart and heavy-hitting algorithms,” so you should probably take this study lightly.

The company analyzed comments on 19 presidential candidates’ Facebook pages and found that: 1) supporters of Republican candidates make more mistakes than supporters of Democrats; 2) supporters of Republican candidates use fewer unique words than supporters of Democrats; and 3) Donald Trump supporters made the most mistakes of them all.

Grammarly isn’t saying that Trump supporters are stupid. What they are saying is that Donald Trump supporters tend to make more grammatical error per 100 words than other Presidential supporters. Check the infographic at Grammarly, because infographics don’t lie.

Hundreds Call ‘The Martian’ Movie Racist After This Casting Decision

Advocacy groups are calling The Martian movie racist after changing the character’s races in the movie.

An advocacy group is attacking The Martian filmmakers for changing the races of some of the Asian-American characters from how they are described in the book on which the movie is based on.

According to the Media Action Network for Asian Americans’ (MANAA) complaint, author Andy Weir’s 2014 best selling novel featured Dr. Venkat Kapoor, a character of Southeastern Asian descent, whose name is changed to Vincent Kapoor, and is played by Chiwetel Ejiofor, an African-American actor. In the movie, the character explains that his father was “a Hindu” and his mother was “Baptist”.

Another character that changed races after casting was Mindy Park, who is Korean American in the book, is played by white actress Mackenzie Davis.

Kapoor and Park are both involved in key scenes in the movie.

“Was Ridley Scott not comfortable having two sets of Asian Americans talking to each other?” said MANAA founding president Guy Aoki in a statement. “So few projects are written specifically with Asian-American characters in them, and he’s now changed them to a white woman and black man.”

“This was a great opportunity to give meaty roles to talented Asian American actors — and boost their careers — which would’ve enabled our community to become a greater part of the rescue team,” Aoki continued. “This feel-good movie, which has attracted Oscar buzz, shouldn’t get any awards for casting.”

This is not the first time Ridley Scott got into trouble for his alleged racist casting decisions. Scott’s previous movie, Exodus: Gods and Kings, received criticism for casting white actors in Egyptian roles.

But, Ridley Scott is not alone for be called out as a racist Hollywood filmmaker, Recently, Cameron Crowe’s film Aloha received criticism for the casting of white actress Emma Stone as a character who is described as a quarter Asian and a quarter Hawaiian.

It is important to note that Cameron Crowe apologized while Ridley Scott did not.

Justin Bieber Responds to Those Viral Nude Photos

Justin Bieber’s legal team threatens to sue over those viral nude photos.

The photos showing the singer naked on vacation in Bora Bora went viral on Wednesday, and Justin Bieber has finally responded to those nude photos of him.

According to a cease and desist letter sent to the New York Daily News, which originally published the nude photos Wednesday showing the pop star on vacation in Bora Bora, Bieber’s legal representatives are demanding the immediate removal of the photos from the website.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the cease and desist letters  were sent shortly after the photos were published Wednesday afternoon, demanding compliance within 12 hours of receipt. But, unfortunately for Justin Bieber those photos are still live on the Daily News website.

The cease and desist letter also acknowledges that those photos are actually Justin Bieber, despite online speculation that the photos have been photoshopped to look like him. “We recently became informed that your company has obtained and is distributing unauthorized photographs of our Client including images showing him without clothing,” reads the letter.

Bieber’s legal team states the publication of the photos represents a violation of the singer’s privacy rights and pictures of Justin Bieber infringe on Bieber’s trademarks.

The Internet went crazy after those photos were published online.

This is not the first time a celebrity had to get a lawyer to prevent nude images or photos from leaking online. Hulk Hogan has filed a $100 million lawsuit against Gawker over his sex tape, which is set to go to trial on March 2016.

The Originals is a spin-off from The Vampire Diaries and set in New Orleans, The Originals centers on the Mikaelson siblings, otherwise known as the world’s original vampires: Klaus (Joseph Morgan), Elijah (Daniel Gillies), and Rebekah (Claire Holt). Now Klaus must take down his protégé, Marcel (Charles Michael Davis), who is now in charge of New Orleans, in order to re-take his city, as he originally built New Orleans.
