Mickey Rourke’s new movie Tiger will film in Cincinnati according to the Greater Cincinnati Film Commision.
Tiger features Janel Parrish of Pretty Little Liars will film for three weeks in Hamilton and Cincinnati, Ohio.
Tiger centers around the true story of a man who stand up for his beliefs and is banned from the sport of boxing, according to the announcement. To apply for an extra role email Becca Shahl at hamiltonmovie2015@gmail.com.

This is the sixth movie to come to film in Cincinnati this year. The action feature film, Marauders starring Bruce Willis filmed in October and the Mariah Carey directed holiday movie, A Christmas Melody finished filming last month.
The announcement comes just days before another Cincinnati film, Carol is set to hit theaters on Friday. The Cate Blanchett and Rooney Mara production premiered to high reviews at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival and has been gaining momentum at several other film festivals ever since.
The Walking Dead has just got the okay to film in Downtown Senoia for at least another year.
According to the Newnan Times Herald, the Senoia City Council voted unanimously to extend the filming perfmit for the site until November 30th, 2016.
The Gin property residential development has been walled off for several months in order to create the community Alexandria. In fact, roads going into the development have been closed since August 2014, according to reports.
But, not everyone is too happy with The Walking Dead filming in Senoia, Georgia. According to reports, Senoia residents such as Jennifer Robinson, “expressed concerns about the extension” with traffic problems, and “walker stalkers”.
Robinson had previously talked to the council about issues with traffic on Gin Street and other issues with “walker stalkers” – fans who travel to Senoia to see filming and try to catch glimpses of stars. The stalkers sometimes block traffic and disrupt residents.
Robinson said she was previously told that Stalwart would take care of the traffic issues. “I would think it would be up to the city,” she said. Police need to make sure people don’t stop in the road. She had previously asked for signs to be posted prohibiting stopping, standing, or parking.
“None of this has been dealt with at all,” Robinson said. Closing Gin Street “would be awesome in a way,” but it would also lead to traffic issues with people detouring.
“People are just parking all over our street. Nothing’s been done,” Robinson said. “You’ll bring it up, but nothing happens.”
In addition, some Senoia, Georgia residents, such as Doris Chapell, complain that the film crews are not courteous. “If they ever see us about to get close to the set we are looked at hard. This is our town,” she said. In addition, many of the residents feel like they are getting fairly untreated.
“Chappell said she knows the filming brings in tourists, but “this is my town.” And it’s not good that the city isn’t getting any direct compensation for the filming, she added.”
However, despite traffic issues and a reported mean crew, property values in Senoia, Georgia have increased with a thriving downtown, restored building, and parking lots.
Illinois increases their film tax credits in order to compete with Georgia.
According to reports, Illinois has reorganized their film tax credits in order to compete with Georgia and lure bigger movies and TV shows to the state.
The newly established Illinois’ tax credit currently offers 30 percent on qualified expenditures in the state, including production, post-production and crew member salaries up to $100,000. Meanwhile, Georgia offers up to a 30 percent tax credit to film projects for productions that spend at least $500,000 in the state.
This newly established film tax credit for Illinois comes as Gov. Bruce Rauner lifted their previously established tax deferral on November 10th in order to promote job growth in Illinois. There is also a 15% “uplift” for salaries of individuals who live in economically disadvantaged areas, according to the report.

Previously, Illinois faced a major budget crisis which halted all productions tax credits in the state. In an attempt to balance the budget, Rauner announced he would defer application approvals on the tax credit, which was supposed to remain in effect for another six years, according to reports.
The Chicago Sun-Times reported that production companies spent $2.8 billion in Illinois since the tax credit was introduced in 2008 however, tax payers are expected to lose $208 million due to the tax breaks.
But, the film industry tax incentives is a risky business to partake in. For example, North Carolina and Louisiana invested in film tax incentives only to see their states succumb to the pressure of budget constraints. Eventually, this forced hundreds of crew workers and aspiring actors to travel to cities like Atlanta in order to find work in the film industry.
Meanwhile, Hollywood, California saw increase in on-location TV production of nearly 12% after expanding their tax credits.

This news comes as Australia announced their 40% film tax incentive program. It was originally reported that Marvel’s Thor sequel was going to film in Atlanta, Georgia. However, it was recently revealed last week that Marvel’s Thor film franchise sequel, Thor: Ragnarok will be filmed in the Gold Coast with no reports suggesting that Thor will be returning to the ATL. In addition, Australia government officials announced the new Alien reboot will also be filmed in Queensland, Australia.
The biggest tax incentive is the “Producer Offset”. According to Screen Australia, the Producer Offset tax incentives provides a 40 percent tax rebate for feature films and a 20 percent tax incentives for any other production outside of feature films. That is approximately, 10% more than Georgia’s film tax credit which provides 30% to feature films, TV shows and other productions.
Julia Roberts didn’t like working with guns while filming ‘Secret in Their Eyes’
Julia Roberts is one of Hollywood’s biggest actresses with critically acclaimed hit movies such as Ocean’s Eleven and Pretty Woman. So, you would automatically assume that Julia Roberts would embrace any role that came her way. But, in the new movie ‘Secret in their Eyes, Roberts was not too comfortable with one thing on set, guns.
Julia Roberts plays Jess, whose life is turned upside down when her daughter was murdered. It’s been 13 years since her daughters death and nobody knows who killed her until a new lead pops up giving Jess, an FBI investigator, her partner Ray (Chiwetel Ejiofor) and District Attorney Claire (Nicole Kidman) a lead that could help them close the case once and for all.
As Jess’ line of work meant she uses guns on a regular basis, Roberts had to film several scenes with a gun. Of course, the actress used fake guns but that didn’t make a difference to her. “I realized when I have a gun in my hand I’m really unhappy,” she said.
Action movies is not something listed on Julia Roberts’ IMDB page. She was once called “America’s Sweetheart”. But, the actress playing Jess said it was a refreshing challenge for her, adding that she always saw the character as first and foremost a mother, someone who put family first.
Despite the fact that Secret in Their Eyes is an action thriller, Roberts considers the movie a “home is where the heart is” type of movie, which allowed for her to connect so quickly with the script.
She said there was something different and intriguing about Jess yet she was also somewhat familiar with the character.
Secret in Their Eyes hits theaters on November 20th and will be facing major competition riding against The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2, which made some studios question whether the movie was going to make it.

Man returns 9/11 hero wife’s Woman of the Year award because the same award was given to Caitlyn Jenner.
A man whose NYPD officer wife was killed on 9/11 has just returned her posthumous “Woman Of The Year” award from Glamour magazine after the publication agave the same award to Caitlyn Jenner.
James Smith, wrote in a now deleted Facebook post that his wife died while rescuing people from the Twin Towers on September 11th. The 38-year-old was the only female New York City Police Department officer killed.
In addition, James believes that Glamour “trivialized the transgender experience”.
As a police officer in NYC, my precinct covered a shelter for transgendered youth. On several occasions I responded there to take reports or give aid to suicidal youths. I listened to their stories of physical, emotional and sexual abuse. Young people thrown out of their houses or fleeing from unlivable conditions. They didn’t have the luxury of being part of the Kardashian circus. They weren’t living in a Malibu Barbie beach house surrounded by what passes for family in Hollywood. They were truly brave people fighting hourly for existence. When Mr. Jenner said the hardest part about being a woman was figuring out what to wear, he proved to me that he is not truly a woman, and had not earned the right to call himself one. He trivialized the transgender experience as I had witnessed it, and he insulted women in general. Glamour honored Laverne Cox last year, and it was a good choice which I applaud. Contrast her story to Jenner’s. I truly believe Jenner’s award was a publicity stunt and cheapens a once prestigious award.
Many of the commenters on Smith’s post supported his open letter.
Glamour responded to BuzzFeed news by saying the following:

Caitlyn Jenner has helped shine a light on the problems faced by transgender youth and given voice to a community that is often unheard.Glamour’s Women of the Year Awards recognizes brave, bold women who in their individual ways have all made a significant difference in the world.”
Ultimately, Glamour stands by their decision to give Caitlyn Jenner the award despite the recent backlash.
R. Kelly opened up about his previous allegations of sex crimes against children in a recent interview with New York Magazine.
In the interview, the Pied Piper says that the only reason he was facing charges of sexually abusing chusing is because he’s famous.
When New York Magazine brought up his alleged sex crimes and alleged marriage to Aaliyah when she was only 15, he called it all a bunch of “rumors”.
“That’s a rumor that comes from the Earth, like all rumors… It’s not true. I love women, period. If I wasn’t a celebrity, people wouldn’t be saying these things about me.”
The interviewer countered the claims made by bringing up accusations by R. Kelly’s brother and one-time manager that Kelly regularly engaged in sex with underage girls.
R. Kelly ignored this and said that it was just someone trying to get back at R. Kelly.
“All those people have been fired by me. If you’re going to ask me these questions, you have to make sense out of it. It wasn’t until after they got fired that they said these things. Go figure.”
In 2013, the journalist that broke the story of R. Kelly’s alleged sexual misconduct, spoke out against R. Kelly’s trial and subsequent acquittal in a 2013 interview with the Village Voice.
“I think in the history of rock & roll, rock-music or pop-culture people misbehaving and behaving badly sexually with young women, rare is the amount of evidence compiled against anyone apart from R. Kelly…we’re not talking about rock-star misbehavior, which men or women can do. We’re talking about predatory behavior. Their lives were ruined.”
Becoming an Instagram star can make you millions of dollars in a matter of a few months. But, one Instagram model is telling all in a recent video.
Model Essena O’Neill, who recently quit Instagram reveals the dangerous ways she dieted in order for the Internet approval.
Essena O’Neill uploaded “You’re My Inspiration” video on her new website.
The 19-year-old revealed measures she took to achieve a “Dream” body. O’Neill revealed she severely restricted her calorie intake by having “really, really small meals” or “skipping them entirely”.
She would also look at photos of models on other social media networks and save them as her mobile phone screensaver to be her “inspiration”.
O’Neill said she had ‘A lot of the time they were tanned with tight stomachs, firm breasts and nice slim thighs,’ she said. ‘Thigh gaps were a big thing when I was younger.’
She added: ‘I would look at these images and I would put them on my phone screensaver and I would use them as a reminder to be strong, and strong to me at that time meant skipping meals. It meant eating as [little] as I could.’
Then her problematic eating issues, became reinforced as many other people called her body an inspiration.
‘It’s very heartbreaking to think that maybe young girls would have done the same thing to people before me,’ she said.
‘That whole cycle of ‘love yourself’ that a pretty, beautiful model is telling you that…Come on, I can’t be the only one seeing the insanity in that. How easy is it for me to upload a picture like this and say, “Morning run, breakfast smoothie, have a good day”? They were the captions I was putting up. I’d be like, “love your body, treat your body with respect”. But my self-love was just how I looked in images. I personally didn’t have a relationship with health and fitness that wasn’t aesthetics based.’
Essena argues that other fitness bloggers are encouraging people to be healthy but she was actually killing herself.
‘How is this even glorified?’ she said. ‘There are so many inspirational, beautiful, loving, full-of-life beings that don’t meet these impossible standards. And they deserve to feel beautiful. […] I can’t say I’m an inspiration for meeting society’s impossible standards for women.’

But, the working model decided to quit social media in order to expose the dark side to being Insta-famous.
She now hopes to initiate a movement where an individual’s worth cannot be determined by how they look or how many followers they have, giving people the opportunity to be free and learn from others instead.

According to the Mayo Clinic, Anorexia is characterized by having abnormally low body weight, a fear of gaining weight, and a distortted perception of body weight. ‘To prevent weight gain or to continue losing weight, people with anorexia usually severely restrict the amount of food they eat. They may control calorie intake by vomiting after eating or by misusing laxatives, diet aids, diuretics or enemas. They may also try to lose weight by exercising excessively.’

According to reports, Hollywood is looking into rebooting the cult classic Christopher Nolan movie, Memento.
Nothing is sacred.
AMBI Pictures has announced they will produce the remake and this is expected to be the start of a long list of potential remake movies. Apparently, AMBI Pictures owns the exclusive rights to over 400 movies including ruel Intentions, Donnie Darko, Rushand Sliding Doors, among others.
This all started after a filmmaking fund started last week to gain the rights to 400 movie library. Afterwards it was announced that Memento would be their first production.
Memento starred Guy Pearce as a man who suffers from amnesia but struggles to figure out who killed his wife as he plans for revenge. The movie is told out of order until the very end.
Memento was nominated for best screenplay and best editing and landed Christopher Nolan to A-list status. It made $25.5. million in the US box office, qualifying it as a break out independent hit movie.

Casting directors are looking for teens to appear in the audience ages 16 to 19.
Filming will take place between November 12th and November 23rd in Chicago, Illinois.
‘Empire’ centers around a hip hop music and entertainment company, Empire Entertainment, and the drama among the members of the founders’ family as they fight for control of the company. The hour-long family drama was created by Lee Daniels and Danny Strong, and stars Terrence Howardand Taraji P. Henson.

Here’s an explanation of what those steps are!
1. AVAILABILITY CHECK:
A few days before each episode shoots, you will receive an availability check for the dates we need you. You will need to respond with your availability for those dates ASAP. Or complete a survey with your availability.
An availability check does NOT mean you are booked!
Once we receive everyone’s availability, we will book people based on the needs of the production for those days.
2. BOOKING EMAIL
If you are booked, you will receive a BOOKING EMAIL. It will give you the details of the days you are booked to work. You must respond to your booking or you will be replaced.
If you respond to the AVAILABILITY CHECK or FILL OUT SURVEY, and don’t receive a booking email, it means that you are not needed for that particular episode. We will do our best to get a booking email to you no later than 48 hours of the shoot date.
If production has last minute changes, this can sometimes lead to a cancellation. We will do our best to book you at a later date if this happens.
3. CALL INFO
The day before your booking you will receive your CALL INFO. You can expect this email to arrive some time between 8:00PM and 11:00PM. This is because we do not get the official call times until they are finished filming on that current day. When you receive your CALL INFO email you are REQUIRED to respond. This is how we know you have received the information and that you will be there.
