‘Warcraft’ Actors Share Amazing Acting Tips

Warcraft actors share acting tips and how to work as a motion capture actor.

Warcraft is one of the biggest movies in the world. The movie has played in sold out movie theaters across the world and earned well over a hundred million dollars in one weekend.

So, what is it like to work on a Warcraft movie as an actor?

Actor Toby Kebbell is one of the main stars of Warcraft and while you won’t actually see him on screen, Kebbell is portraying Durotan, a gigantic orc. An interview with Kebbell in The Daily Beast labels him “The Best Actor You May Never Recognize” because he consistently plays roles for motion capture feature films.

Kebbell says working on motion capture movies has allowed him to remain in the public eye without being bombarded by fans. He points out, “I’ve never been recognized—which is a blessing. I get to play role after role. I’m very happy and I would love to continue that.”

And casting directors seem to love Kebbell as this is the third movie with Legendary Entertainment. “It’s actually really flattering, because they tend to consider they’ve chosen the best actor to do the CG role. They need someone they can rely on to keep giving them something. And it’s not very humble of me to say that perhaps they chose the best actor, but it’s flattering to think that you’re doing this to motor someone else’s artwork. You’re not really doing it for the glory. It’s more for the duty of performance.”

Though Kebbell is a favorite for motion capture roles, he still sees himself an amateur actor. He says, “The craft I’m trying to learn is apprentice to journeyman of motion capture. I’m in the journeyman phase. It’s an incredible craft—and it is a craft. I consider acting a craft. I’ve got to pay my shillings and present a masterpiece in order to get into the guild, but I’m just trying to learn what this craft is.”

‘Stargate’ Franchise Reboot Coming Soon

Roland Emmerich plans on rebooting the Stargate coming soon.

Roland Emmerich has been planning on continuing his 1994 film Stargate for a long time, but while talking to the press about his new movie Independence Day: Resurgence, he and producer Dean Devlin have been dropping some more hints about what’s next for the franchise.

The two have long talked about how the first film was conceived of as a trilogy and according to Variety, they’re working on the next film:

Now the duo are in active development on a reboot movie being produced by MGM and Warner Bros. The film is being penned by “Resurgence” writers James A. Woods and Nicolas Wright, and is intended to kickstart the franchise that Emmerich and Devlin always hoped to create.

Interestingly, Devlin also says that the new movie likely isn’t going to be a direct sequel to the original movie. They are going to start the entire franchise over again.

“It’s not a story that can take place 20 years later. So the only way to really tell that trilogy is to go back from the beginning and start the story all over again.”

Devlin said that they’ll be avoiding the television universe:

Now that the pair are back on board, the franchise will sidestep the continuity of the series, but not because of sour grapes, Devlin insists.

“It was taken away from us, and it’s tough to have your children raised by other parents, even if they do a very good job. … For us, it’s not putting down what has been done. It’s to let us finish telling our story.”

Starting the story from the beginning could be a good way to restart the entire film franchise.

A shocking video shows Disney staff fighting an alligator near Disney’s Splash Mountain

New details are surfacing following the death of Lane Graves, a two-year old boy who was snatched by an alligator along the shore of the 7 Seas Lagoon at Disney World in Orlando. The boy was dragged into the lagoon and pronounced dead after a 15-hour search turned up his body. The cause of death was drowning and traumatic injuries.

Reports have revealed, since the tragic incident, that residents at the nearby Bora Bora Suites, have been feeding the alligators that swim in the lagoon, prompting more and more gators to visit the area. Which many people argue lead to a major alligator problem for the Disney resorts, and the video below shows the seriousness of the issue.

In the video, a Disney employee is fighting off an alligator with a pole. What’s extremely disturbing about the incident is that the gator is only a few feet away from one of the world’s most popular water parks, Splash Mountain.

TMZ reports that Disney is applying temporary measures against the gators, including fencing off the 7 Seas Lagoon and erecting signs. Disney is attempting to provide long-term solutions to the alligator infestation issue, but until then, beaches have been closed.

Tyler Perry upgrades a background extra to a principal speaking role for his new show Too Close to Home.

Tyler Perry is one of the most powerful men in the entertainment industry. He has so much power, with a snap of his fingers he can turn you into an A-list celebrity over night. That is probably why millions of people would love to work with the Hollywood writer, actor, director and producer.

Currently, Tyler Perry is filming his new scripted TV series for TLC called Too Close To Home and while production has just started, Mr. Perry always keeps an eye open for new and aspiring talent.

Recently, an aspiring actor, hired to work as a background extra, was upgraded to a Principal speaking role in the series. Casting directors posted on Facebook the good news. “Congratulations to Hunter Watson on being bumped to a PRINCIPAL ROLE!! He is signing his contract as we speak! This goes to show you that it can happen to you at ANY MOMENT when you are working with us at Tyler Perry Studio!”

According to Variety, Tyler Perry is writing, directing and producing the first ever scripted series for TLC. “Too Close to Home” centers around “the story of a young woman who escaped her working class upbringing to discover unparalleled success in the fast-paced D.C. political circuit, only to find herself at the center of a scandal. After a steamy affair with a married senator makes national headlines, she is forced to return to her trailer park beginnings, where her past and everyone in it resurfaces to complicate everything.”

Tyler Perry’s new project is a major move for TLC, which has been known lately for scandalous reality shows. TLC has also given the green light to several new TV shows including an unscripted reality show about interior designing.

Gator Attack: Disney Employees Tell All

Reports on the Disney alligator attack is shedding new light on what happened before the young boy was killed.

Details surrounding the horrific tragedy at a Disney Resort are starting to leaking to the press. According to reports, Disney knew of possible issues with alligators and staff members asked for a fence to be built at the lagoon. From TheWrap:

Numerous employees at the theme park expressed anxiety to management about guests feeding the animals within the past 14 months, an insider with knowledge of the resort told TheWrap.

Guests apparently had direct access to wildlife in the waters and previous guests would commonly feed gators that swam by, according to a source close to TheWrap.

“Disney has known about the problem of guests feeding the alligators well-prior to the opening of the bungalows,” said the insider. “With the opening of the bungalows, it brought the guests that much closer to wildlife. Or, the wildlife that much closer to the guests.”

Another employee at the Disney hotel explained to the Orlando Sentinel that he warned his bosses that gators were consistently swimming close to the shore and a fence should be erected to protect guests. “There are signs that say, ‘No swimming,’ but no signs that say gators and everything else in this lake.”

In addition, another former Disney executive, Duncan Dickson, said: “The entire property is interconnected via canals so it is difficult to keep them out of the lakes. Gators are on all of the golf courses. The team attempts to relocate the gators to the uninhabited natural areas as best they can, but the gators don’t understand the boundaries.”

According to reports, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman, Rose Silva, says a 2-year-old was dragged into Seven Seas Lagoon near the resort at about 9:30 p.m. ET on Tuesday. He was found dead on Wednesday afternoon after divers searched the lagoon.

“As a parent and a grandparent, my heart goes out to the Graves family during this time of devastating loss,” Disney CEO Bob Iger said in a statement Wednesday evening. “My thoughts and prayers are with them, and I know everyone at Disney joins me in offering our deepest sympathies.”

Christina Grimmie’s Killer Wanted to Become Her Boyfriend

The man who killed Christina Grimmie was an obsessed fan.

The man who killed Christina Grimmie, reportedly became obsessed with the singer and wanted to become her boyfriend. According to TMZ, Kevin Loibl worked at a Best Buy and his coworkers are telling the gossip magazine all. According to reports, Loibl underwent lasik eye surgery, hair transplants, and even became vegan in order to lose weight and appear more attractive. In addition, Kevin Loibl reportedly listened to Grimmie’s music all the time and played “online games” with the singer.

Kevin Loibl travelled to The Plaza Live theater with two handguns on Friday night. He then walked up to Grimmie, who was signing autographs for fans after the show. Moments later he opened fire and shot and killed her at 10:30 p.m., according to police reports.  Her brother immediately tackled the suspect and the man killed himself.
