The Originals is a spin-off from The Vampire Diaries and set in New Orleans, The Originals centers on the Mikaelson siblings, otherwise known as the world’s original vampires: Klaus (Joseph Morgan), Elijah (Daniel Gillies), and Rebekah (Claire Holt). Now Klaus must take down his protégé, Marcel (Charles Michael Davis), who is now in charge of New Orleans, in order to re-take his city, as he originally built New Orleans.

‘Ride With Norman Reedus’ Season 2 is Coming Soon to AMC

Ride with Norman Reedus was renewed for a second season at AMC, the network announced on Friday.

Season 2 will feature six one-hour episodes featuring The Walking Dead actor as he takes viewers across the country and sampling local cultures.

“The reaction to ‘Ride’ has been incredibly positive,” Reedus said in the statement. “I am glad to be able to show audiences a different side of me and we have gotten a great response to the candid conversation and the fact that it’s obviously not scripted. I feel like we are just getting started and there are so many amazing places we have yet to go — the opportunities for the show are endless.”

Jim Carrey’s Lawyer Bashes New Lawsuit That Claims the Actor Gave Late Girlfriend STDs

Jim Carrey’s attorney is bashing a new lawsuit that claims the actor gave his late girlfriend, Cathriona White, three types of Sexually Transmitted Diseases in 2013.

Cathriona White died at the age of 30 due to a drug overdose. The Los Angeles County Coroner’s office ruled it a suicide.

Cathriona White’s estranged husband, Mark Burton, initially filed a lawsuit on Monday, claiming that Carrey provided her the prescription drugs that contributed to her death. Burton later revised those documents on Thursday. Now Burton alleges Carrey gave her STDs.

Carrey’s lawyer Marty Singer called the latest claims a “Transparent shakedown.”

Singer claimed that text messages between Carrey and White will provide that the allegations are false. “The alleged text messages referred to were sent in 2013, yet in November of 2014, Ms. White sought out my client and asked him to continue a serious relationship. If he had engaged in the alleged horrible conduct, why would she reach out and request that they continue to stay together?” he told Us. “In fact, they were even working out a cohabitation agreement, as they were living together for the most part up until her death.”

Jim Carrey and Cathriona White dated off and on from 2012 to 2015 and broke up one week before she passed away. She left him a suicide note, and later he helped carry her coffin at her funeral.

‘Empire’ Season 3 Premiere Ratings Drop Nearly 40%

Empire ratings drop 39% in comparison to season 2.

Empire was on track to destroy The Walking Dead and become the most watched TV show. However, those days are long gone as the musical-drama series ratings continue to slip. The series suffered a big drop in its 18-49 demographic in comparison to last year’s season two premiere.

While the ratings are still high, the ratings are now incredibly huge. The Lee Daniels hip-hop series dropped 39 percent in comparison to its season 2 start. However, Empire put Fox as the most watched network on Wednesday night and had just as many viewers as the Season 2 finale.

The Chicago filmed TV series followed a decent debut of the new Lethal Weapon. Meanwhile, Rosewood was moved to Thursday where the show’s ratings dropped by nearly 50%.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s divorce is making headlines across the country. And many celebrities have reacted to the divorce reports. There have been gifs, memes, jokes and rumors surrounding the Brangelina divorce.

But, Samuel L. Jackson thinks you all need to chill out and leave them alone.

Samuel L. Jackson was interviewed on Good Morning Britain and was asked how said it is that Brangelina are no more. And Samuel L. Jackson responded by saying “Is it? Really? It’s life! People carry on and people do what they do.”

Jackson added:

There’s a huge segment of America that still think what he did to Jennifer Aniston was just wrong and are overjoyed that the wicked witch lost her husband. There’s another segment that think it is sad and there’s a dissolution of another family. I don’t know why it’s everybody’s business, or why people care anyway.

Here’s the reason why Daisy Ridley quit Instagram.

Daisy Ridley became a celebrity overnight. Within a few days and a Star Wars press release, everyone was asking who is Daisy Ridley? Then the movie release of Star Wars hit theaters and Ridley became a house hold name.

While she gained hundreds of thousands of fans and followers, Ridley has surprisingly quit Instagram leaving her fans hanging and asking – what happened?

Last month she decided to quit the social network following online abuse. Ridley received backlash after posting an image of herself commenting on gun violence in America. She wrote alongside the image: “Thinking about how lucky I am like……… Serious bit: as I sat in the audience yesterday tears were streaming down my face at the tribute to those that have been lost to gun violence. I didn’t get a great picture of the incredible group that came on stage but they were so brave. It was a true moment of togetherness. We must #stoptheviolence.”

And now Ridley has explained her decision to quit Instagram. Attending the Student Academy Awards in Los Angeles, Ridley spoke out about it.

She said: “I felt a pressure being on it. I was like ‘I need to post. Oh my God, it’s been this many days’. It’s actually been kind of nice not to be on it.

“I’m 24. I have a lot of growing up to do. I have to deal with loads of stuff myself personally. For that to be projected with millions of people watching, that is like a bit of an extra pressure.

She added: “I think some people handle it well. Just right now it’s not for me, but who knows.”

The First Latina “SNL” Cast Member Has Been Deleting “Racist” Tweets

The first Latina SNL cast member has reportedly been deleting racist tweets from her Twitter account.

Last week, Saturday Night Live cast comedian and actress Melisa Villaseñor, making her the show’s first Latina cast member.

It was big news and definitely an accomplishment for the Hispanic community. But, a week after the news broke, reports surfaced that Villaseñor had been deleting old tweets.

Writer Aura Bogado broke the news. She first noticed something weird with Melissa’s account. Apprently, 2k tweets were deleted in 5 days.

Thousands of those tweets were saved before it was deleted and many people are calling them racist.
