CMT’s Still the King is now casting actors, models, and talent to work on an episode filming this Monday, December 5th in Nashville, Tennessee. Fittings are scheduled for Friday, December 2nd.

About Still The King:

The comedy follows Brown who goes on to become an Elvis Presley impersonator. After Cyrus’ character crashes into an old church, he’s ordered by a judge to perform community service. Instead, Brown pretends to be the church’s new minister so he can avoid the community service and discovers he has a 15-year-old daughter he didn’t know about.

Latest Update: ‘The Walking Dead’ Ratings Continue to Fall

The Walking Dead ratings continue to fall as the series loses another 500,000 viewers with its newest episode on AMC.

After 17 million people tuned in for the Walking Dead premire, that number has dropped significantly. The very next episode brought the viewership down to 12.46 million. Since then, it’s gone to 11.72, 11.40, and then settling on 11 million. So how did the latest episode featuring  Tara do? Well, the ratings continue to drop. The new episode reached only 10.4 million people, according to Bloody-Disgusting. That’s around another half million viewers tuning out of the show. Negan is expected to be a major player in the next two upcoming episodes, according to Jeffrey Dean Morgan. So hopefully if things start to pick up again, AMC may be able to save their biggest TV show. On the bright side, 10 million viewers is enough to keep The Walking Dead on the air for several more years, unless the rating continue to slip. What do you think? HBO’s ‘Ballers’ Ditches Miami to Film in LA

HBO will film season 3 of Ballers in Los Angeles, California.

HBO’s TV hit TV series Ballers will be moving production for its third season from Miami to Los Angeles, according to the California Film Commission’s executive director Amy Lemisch.

Ballers is the seventh TV show to move to California thanks to Cali’s expanded tax credit program enacted in 2015. The show is scheduled to show their next 10 episodes in the greater Los Angeles area, and hire 135 cast, 209 base crew and 5,700 extras. Production will generate an estimated $33.5 million in “qualified expenditures,” which the California Film commission defines as wages paid to below-the-line workers on the crew, and payments to in-state vendors. Based on these figures, HBO’s Ballers has been approved for a tax credit of $8.3 million.

“In evaluating the production resources, and its evolving storylines, the producers have decided to relocate the base of production to California,” said HBO’s spokeswoman in a statement.

California’s film and television production incentives total $330 million annually and are aimed at creating production jobs in the state.

“We’re able to match a lot of different locales,” said Lemisch, of shooting in Los Angeles. “If we level the playing field with a tax incentive, we tend to be the first choice. From the large quantities of skilled crew members, to the availability of equipment, there’s an ease to working here. It’s a much smoother way to run a production.”
