New Study Suggests The Rock Can Beat Trump in a Presidential Election

Could Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson run for president and win? According to a Public Policy Polling study, the wrestler-turned-actor Dwayne ‘Thep Rock’ Johnson would have higher ratings in comparison to Donald Trump, if they faced off in 2020.

On Tuesday, Public Policy Polling released a report stating that Johnson would beat Trump 42/37 in a prospective race, given the current data.

The Wrap reports, Johnson is viewed favorably by 36% of voters, while only 13% view him negatively. That said, 50% of the people involved in the study stated that they have no opinion of the actor.

Also, among Democrats, Johnson is viewed favorably by 38%, which is interesting considering The Rock attended and spoke at the Republican National Convention several years ago. Meanwhile, 31% of Republicans view him favorably. The unfavorable ratings are 15 and 17%, respectively.

Moreover, the study found that Johnson can win over 15% of the voters who voted for Trump in last year’s race.

This news comes after Johnson hinted at running for president during a GQ interview published earlier this month.

“A year ago, it started coming up more and more,” Johnson told GQ, addressing a Washington Post op-ed that suggested he would have been a viable candidate last year. “There was a real sense of earnestness, which made me go home and think, ‘Let me really rethink my answer and make sure I am giving an answer that is truthful and also respectful.’ I didn’t want to be flippant — ‘We’ll have three days off for a weekend! No taxes!’”

Dwayne Johnson is now filming Rampage in Atlanta.

Jennifer Lawrence is Not Sorry for Dancing at a Strip Club

Earlier this week, Radar Online wrote a story about the Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence having fun at an Austrian strip club. The shite posted a video of the actress dancing on stage. The story, which was called a “bombshell world exclusive,” described the young actress “cutting loose like a low-rent logo dancer in a Euro-trash strip club.”

Lawrence didn’t take Radar Online’s account of the night lightly. In a statement on her Facebook page, the actress declared, “I’m not going to apologize, I had a BLAST that night.”

She went on to explain that she went to the club to celebrate her best friend’s birthday. “I dropped my paranoia guard for one second to have fun,” she wrote.

Lawrence also used the post to point out that she was not just wearing a bra, as the news outlet reported, but an Alexander Wang top.

Lawrence, who is known for being confident and witty in interviews, ended her post poking fun at herself. “I think my dancings pretty good,” she wrote. “Even with no core strength.”

The Passengers star appears in Darren Aronofsky’s “Mother!,” which opens in October.

ANOTHER ‘Walking Dead’ Star Quits Social Media After Getting Harassed

Another Walking Dead star is abandoning Social media after getting harassed online.

Earlier this month, actor Josh McDermitt who plays Eugene on The Walking Dead, shut down his Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook pages after reportedly receiving death threats from fans who couldn’t tell the difference between fiction and reality.

“You can hate Eugene, I don’t care,” he wrote. “You can think whatever you want but when you start saying you hope I die, I don’t know if you’re talking about Josh or Eugene.”

But now, he’s not the only Walking Dead cast member to abandon social media, either.

Alanna Masterson, who plays Tara on the show, reportedly deactivated her Instagram account after, according to BBC, she was body shamed. Last year, Masterson, who was six months pregnant when she filmed the Tara centered episode Swear, asked Instagram trolls and “body shamers” to “grow the f*ck up.”

She said:

Dear Instagram trolls, body shamers, and the men and woman who think it’s ok to comment on my weight: I hope that you don’t have children. And if you do, I hope you teach them about kindness and acceptance. I hope they learn that it isn’t ok to make fun of people or call people names. I hope one day YOU learn what it takes to be a parent. A kind, selfless parent. A working parent. A parent that puts themselves in someone else’s shoes. Maybe you can’t get it through your thick f*cking skull, but nursing a baby for a year (and pumping in a van between takes, in the dead of summer in Georgia) is a lot of work, determination, and scheduling. So before you decide to make a comment about my chest being “too large” or how “fat” I’ve become, just know that this little girl got the best start to life. I wouldn’t have changed it for a second. Central Casting is looking for an experienced stand-in to work on a scene filming in Fairburn, Georgia. Filming will likely start on Wednesday, May 24th and producers are looking for talent that can work 3 to 5 days per week through the end of June. About The Avengers:

Disney plans to release Marvel’s “Avengers: Infinity War” as one film with production expected to begin later this summer in Atlanta, Georgia.  Avengers: Infinity War is the upcoming sequel to The Avengers and Avengers: Age of Ultron. The movie is set to hit theaters on May 4, 2018. Details surrounding the new Avengers movie have not been released. However, the comic book character Thanos will serve as the main antagonist of the film, with the plot revolving around the Infinity Gauntlet and the six Infinity Stones. According to IMDB, Chris Hemsworth, Chris Pratt, Samuel L. Jackson and Josh Brolin will star in the new Avengers: Infinity War movie.
