4) The open call will take place Thursday August 24th 2017. Registration is from 10:00am to 12:00pm.

5) Callback auditions are tentatively scheduled for September 12, 2017.

6) You must be available for both audition and callback dates.

7) Submitting the form automatically RSVP’s you for the auditions. Upon submission you will receive an e-mail confirmation including further details.

8) This RSVP does not guarantee that you will be seen if you arrive after the registration time.

9) No talent will receive any compensation unless they are chosen as the final cast for AG Life.

10) Although we encourage an RSVP, you can also show up for the open call audition.

Angelina Responds to the Netflix Audition Backlash

Angelina Jolie has fired back after a Vanity Fair story went viral depicting her casting staff as abusive and cruel to orphans and poor children. The incidents allegedly happened during the auditions for the upcoming Netflix movie, First They Killed My Father.

The Vanity Fair story explains casting directors placed money in front of poor children, then asked them what they needed. The money was then taken away to provoke a reaction. The young lady who landed the lead role, Srey Much Sareum, eventually won the role after saying the money was supposed to help pay for her grandfather’s funeral.

Critics called the auditions needlessly cruel.

Angelina Jolie issued a statement on Saturday lacked context.

“Every measure was taken to ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of the children in the film, starting from the auditions through production to the present,” her statement said. Jolie added parents, guardians and non-governmental organization representatives were also present during the auditions.

Jolie claimed the audition tactics were an improvisation based on a scene in the movie. “I am upset that a pretend exercise in an improvisation from an actual scene in the film has been written about as if it was a real scenario,” said Jolie. “The suggestion that real money was taken from a child during an audition is false and upsetting. I would be outraged myself if this had happened.”

The movie is based the 2000 memoir of Loung Ung, now a Cambodian-American, on the late 1970s Khmer Rouge revolution killings that resulted in an estimated two million Cambodians dying. Unglanceable allegedly played the money game when he was caught stealing by the Khmer Rouge.

Jolie said Srey Moch Sareum lives in a poor neighborhood and was the only child that stared at the money for a long time. “When she was forced to give it back, she became overwhelmed with emotion. All these different things came flooding back.”

Elliott is well-known to audiences from many films, including the current release, “The Hero.” He’s also starring in Netflix’s “The Ranch.” Turner is known for his role as the dwarf Kili in “The Hobbit” series as well as the BBC series “Poldark,” which airs on PBS in America.

According to Deadline Hollywood, the film is the story of a legendary World War II veteran who went across enemy lines to kill Hitler. Decades later, he has settled in New England, when he is asked to lead a hunt for Bigfoot, carrier of a deadly plague hidden deep in the Canadian wilderness.

About The Gifted:

The Gifted is an upcoming American television series created for Fox by Matt Nix, based on Marvel Comics’ X-Men properties. It is connected to the X-Men film series, the second television series to be so. The show is produced by 20th Century Fox Television in association with Marvel Television, with Nix serving as showrunner.

 The series stars Stephen Moyer and Amy Acker as ordinary parents who take their family on the run after they discover their children’s mutant abilities.
