It stars Grant Show as Blake Carrington, Nathalie Kelley as Cristal Flores, Elizabeth Gillies as Blake’s daughter Fallon, and James Mackay as his son Steven. The pilot, which was announced in September 2016, was ordered to series in May 2017. Dynasty will premiere on October 11, 2017.

Abigail Ratchford is the “Queen of Instagram”


Abigail Ratchford makes $170,000 a year as an Instagram model.

Before she became famous she worked three jobs to pay the bills. Now, using the social media platform, she makes more money than most actors.

Abigail Ratchford was working as a paralegal, secretary and bartender until she found Instagram. Now the Instagram model takes home more than $170,000 a year. The 25-year-old model, who has nearly 8 million followers on Instagram, started her claim to fame in 2013 when a professional photographer asked her to take photos to build up his portfolio. She told the New York Post that she immediately drew attention from bloggers who spotted the photos on his Facebook page.

Modeling history

Her photos caught the attention of Maxim, Sports Illustrated Swimsuit and Barstool Sports. Before capitalizing on her popularity, Ratchford worked three jobs and earned less than $600 a week in Scranton, Pennsylvania. ‘I was thinking that there had to be more to life than this hamster wheel that I was on,’ she told the newspaper. 

Now she makes more than $170,000 per year, which she gets from product endorsements and merchandise sales.

After she created her Instagram page, she received 20,000 followers. Seven months later she was up to 100,000 after she started posting consistently.

“A lot of my fans are college-aged guys, so I definitely make products [targeted at] them.

Ratchford said she once signed with a manager, she started getting offers to work with other influencers on social media.

“For every million [followers], you can charge up to $1,500 a post,’ she said. But now that she has almost eight million followers, brands typically cap the fee at about $6,000 per post.”

Lately, she’s been uploading makeup tutorials and beauty tips on her Snapchat. “I’m thinking long term. By 35 I want to be married and have kids, and I can’t be posting these photos,’ she told the Post. ‘Females are the ones who are gonna be spending the most money on weight loss and beauty products.’

Thanks to her large and growing social media following, Ratchford has also appeared in several feature films and TV shows including shows on ABC and E! Networks.

Abigail Ratchford, is known as the “Queen of Instagram”, and recently reached nine million followers and has become a household name in the entertainment industry.

She recently received her first cover with Alpha Magazine, focusing on her inspiration and confidence. She will be featured in multiple covers in the upcoming year including NOW Magazine Los Angeles, Elements Magazine and many more.

‘Get Out’ is the Most Profitable Movie of 2017

Jordan Peele’s Get Out is a great move that has made a boat load of money. According to a new report by The Wrap, Get Out is officially the most profitable movie of 2017, raking in a jaw-dropping $217 million in profits and a 630 percent return on investment.

It is important to note that Get Out had a near-perfect 99% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes and its status as the highest-grossing original screenplay debut, an honor that Get Out beating The Blair Witch Project.

Get Out grossed $252 million worldwide and cost $4.5 million to make, plus an estimated $30 million marketing budget, which brings us to the $217 million profit. This means Peele is looking at making a ton of money for an indie movie, with his 630 percent Return on Investment.

Following Get Out, M. Night Shyamalan’s Split comes in second. It cost $9 million to make and made $277 million worldwide at the box office, meaning its ROI is an amazing 610 percent. The most interesting part of this story is that Split came out of the same production house as Get Out, Blumhouse Productions. With the successes of these two films alone, Jason Blum, founder, and CEO of Blumhouse is proving his business strategy of combining potentially “risky” scripts with tight budgets can work and sell movie tickets.

It is important to point out that the highest-grossing movie of 2017 is Beauty and the Beast reboot, which made $1.26 billion worldwide, has not been as profitable as Get Out or Split. It cost $160 million to make, making its ROI much lower to around 400 percent.

Older people are needed Tuesday, August 8 to appear in the feature film WHALING. Filming will be in Wynnewood, OK in the afternoon/evening.
(Wynnewood is between Pauls Valley and Davis just off of I-35)
WHALING is a comedy about a brother and sister,  forced on a cross-country adventure to deliver their mother’s ashes into the belly of a whale. The film is written by Sean McEwen and Tammin Sursok.  McEwen is directing the film.
The film stars Tammin Sursok (Jenna in PRETTY LITTLE LIARS) and Tom Felton (Draco in the HARRY POTTER films). The scenes Monday will be with both of the lead actors.
Pay for extras is $7.25/hour with a guarantee pay of 8 hours ($58) even if the extras are used for less than 8 hours.
BREAKDOWN OF ROLES
[BARTENDER]  Female, 50-70, any ethnicity. She is weathered, been around the block, and takes no grief from anyone. She can be big or small.
[BAR PATRONS] – Men and women, 40-70, any ethnicity. They are more on the rough and grisled side.

However, according to Explore Georgia, Kyrie Irving’s new basketball movie Uncle Drew is now filming in Atlanta, Georgia. The original Pepsi Max commercials showed Irving, in full makeup, playing a 70-plus-year-old man, Drew, who would show up to pickup basketball games and school kids half his age, while also reminiscing about how the game used to be played. Temple Hill’s Marty Bowen, Wyck Godfrey, and John Fischer will produce the film, described as a love letter to basketball, Variety reports.
