‘The Walking Dead’ Mid-Season Finale: Spoiler Sites Are Refusing to Reveal What Happens

Over the years there have been accusations from spoiler websites that the studio has sent private investigators to allegedly harass them over how they have gotten their leaked information. There was even the threat of a lawsuit against Facebook group The Spoiling Dead Fans when AMC was trying to keep who Megan killed at the end of season six a secret.

AMC is teasing another huge shocker for this Sunday’s mid-season finale of The Walking Dead, but you will not find out who is killed through The Spoiling Dead Fans this time around. The Facebook group has taken an unusual step of not sharing what they know about the episode in advance, and this time they don’t have to worry about cease and desist letters.

“After careful consideration, we have decided that we will not be providing a Q&A or any spoilers bits this week,” admins of The Spoiling Dead wrote. “AMC has been hyping a very shocking moment that will occur in this episode. I think most of us know this almost certainly means a death. We invite you to draw your conclusions on what will happen. Review the spoiler journal, filming, and discussion threads, and take what bits you can and try to put the pieces together.”

“We have our reasons for doing this which we’ll share after the episode,” they continued. “No, it has nothing to do with any legal matters. We will not be answering any questions about episode 8 from this point on. Sorry buttercups, but bribes of liquor and pancakes will not change our minds.”

Now with The Spoiling Dead Fans refusing to reveal who is going to get killed off in the episode, it must be something huge or a character worth keeping secret until we get to witness it as intended by watching the show.

There’s already a ton of rumors on who may die. Maybe it’s not death, and this has to do with that helicopter that random appeared halfway through the season. Whatever it is, we will have to wait and find out.

Another New Film Studio Opens in Georgia

Georgia’s film industry continues to grow. According to reports, production company CineStage Atlanta recently opened a new studio in Peachtree Corners.

The 7,000-square-foot space has a green screen, sound paneling, an editing bay and a scene shop with construction equipment for sets.

CineStage is located at 6420 Atlanta Blvd., Suite 515, off Jimmy Carter Boulevard. It is owned by Laura Huber, Matt Green, Roman Weaver and Matthew McGahren.

It is important to note that Georgia has had more than 100 sound stages pop up since the creation of the Georgia film tax credit.

According to Patch, the studio’s makeup and wardrobe rooms are located in the studio for accessibility and lockers are available for the cast and crew to store belongings. The facility also has a drive-in door for easy access in unloading equipment.

Also, the new film studio is available for all types of projects and may be rented fro the day or by the hour and already has been used in several productions.

CineStage’s past projects include “Star Trek: First Frontier,” “Brockmire,” “Stranger Than the ’80s and “Star Wars: Sakoru.”

“The film production business is a growing industry,” said Mayor Mike Mason. “We are pleased that CineStage’s owners have chosen Peachtree Corners to establish their new film studio and welcome them to our business community.”

Jennifer Lawrence Knew She Was Going to be Famous

Before Hunger Games was released 5 years ago, Jennifer Lawrence knew she was going to be famous.

During The Hollywood Reporter’s annual Power 100 Women in Entertainment breakfast on Wednesday, former Paramount Studios CEO Sherry Lansing presented Lawrence with the award named in her honor — but first, she revealed the first time they met.

“I first met Jennifer over five years ago, and it was at a small dinner party at [studio executive] Michael Burns’ house,” Lansing said. “There were about 12 people there and Michael came over to me and he asked me if I could sit next to Jennifer. He told me he was worried about her. Michael told me that Hunger Games was about to come out and he believed that it was going to be a hugely successful film and he said that Jennifer had absolutely no idea how her life was going to change.”

“As I watched her interact with the other guests, I saw a highly confident woman and I really didn’t think she needed any advice from anyone,” Lansing continued. “But then, Jennifer did something quite remarkable. She turned to me and she said, ‘I know Michael is worried about me, and I know he wanted you to talk to me but please don’t worry about me.’”

Lansing explains, Lawrence told her: “I have a secret. I always knew I was going to be famous, so I am totally prepared for it.”

“In that simple, direct honesty I actually knew everything I needed to know about Jennifer,” Lansing added. “I knew she was a very, very special person and I knew she was going to be more than fine.”

After accepting the award, which is given to woman who have been a pioneer or leader in her industry, Lawrence highlighted the importance of the women who have spoken out against injustice and sexual assault.

“I want to recognize all of the women who stood up to adversity for themselves, and for the good of others with profound dignity, perseverance and strength,” Lawrence said. “It’s not easy to speak out. It’s not easy to face criticism on a global scale. But the fact is I have been given a platform, and I feel that if I don’t use it, then I don’t deserve it.”
