Ruth is Ester’s responsible sister in her mid 20’s, who is facing the tough decision of staying in New Orleans or leaving for Houston. Her boyfriend, possible pregnancy, and new love interest are making the decision impossibly tricky.
  3. [KING PAPPION] 30 to 35 years old, Black/African American male. King is the eldest son of the Pappion siblings in his early 30’s. King is grappling with the challenge of loving a sister he doesn’t understand. He is a hood, without the language to express his inner feelings.
  4. [MIGNON PAPPION] 45 to 50 years old, Black/African American female. The mother of the Pappion crew. Mignon is too much everything: loud, abrasive, and loving. As her health and spirits decline, she grasps at whatever opportunities she can to get her family to become whole.
  5. [KYRRIE] 30 to 35 years old, Black/African American male. The longtime boyfriend of Ruth and the “successful” one. As he feels the emotional shifting of his relationship, he also grapples with the knowledge he may have to leave New Orleans and never come back.
  6. [DAMIEN] 20 to 25 years old, Black/African American male. Damien is Pigeon Town neighborhood guy in his early 20’s, who’s taken a particular interest in Ester. His soft-spoken demeanor and hardworking ways have made him all but invisible to the world around him.

About Halloween:

Halloween was slated for a November production launch before being pushed back to its new mid-January start date.

According to Omega Underground, David Gordon Green’s Halloween soft-reboot/sequel is now filming in Charleston, South Carolina.

Directed by David Gordon Green (Stronger) and co-written by Alien: Covenant star Danny McBride, the franchise revamp will pick up after the 1978 Halloween.

“We’re kind of ignoring all the films past the first one,” McBride said, confirming the newest Halloween will erase the last nine movies. “It picks up after the first one, but it’s sort of an alternate reality. It’s as if the first Halloween ended in a slightly different way.”

Jamie Lee Curtis reprises her 1978 role as Laurie Strode. Curtis returned for 1980’s Halloween II and 1998’s Halloween H20: 20 Years Later before reviving the character again for her death at the hands of her serial killer brother in 2002’s Halloween: Resurrection.

Someone Is Using Deep Learning Technology To Put Nicolas Cage’s Face Into Every Movie

People are putting Nic Cage’s face on every movie.

FakeApp is a code that utilizes an algorithm and deep learning technology to scan a person’s face and place it into existing pieces of video. Since FakeApp was created, it’s been primarily been used to insert celebrity faces onto ports stars, which raises a ton of moral and ethical questions in the age of “fake news.” But also, the technology has birthed a new meme with people using FakeApp to put him into as many movies as possible. You can see Nic Cage as Indiana Jones, the T-1000, James Bond, even Lois Lane.

According to reports, there is little legal recourse for people who are having their face inserted into whatever a wielder of the tech desires, which is especially concerning as the application evolves.

‘Glee’ Star Mark Selling Dies At 35

Glee actor, Mark Selling, dies at 35.

According to TMZ, the actor died of an apparent suicide. The former Glee star had recently plead guilty to possession of child pornography. His sentencing was scheduled for March 7.

Salling reached a plea agreement with prosecutors in October after admitting he possessed images of prepubescent children. A search warrant found more than 50,000 images of child porn on his computer and a thumb drive.

Salling was facing between four to seven years in prison. He would also have been required to register as a sex offender.

The actor played bad boy Noah “Puck” Puckerman on all six seasons of Ryan Murphy’s musical dramedy, which aired on Fox from 2009 to 2015.

About Super Fly:

Sony is setting up a remake of the 1972 crime drama Super Fly, according to Variety. The studio has closed a development deal for the rights of the movie, with Watchmen writer Alex Tse writing the movie script. Super Fly was directed by Gordon Parks Jr. His father, Gordon Parks, directed the classic Shaft movie which is currently filming in Atlanta with Samuell L. Jackson, Richard Roundtree, Alexandra Shipp and Jesse T. Usher.)

Super Fly starred Ron O’Neal as Priest Youngblood, a cocaine dealer who was trying to do one last deal before he left the drug business forever. The film also starred Sheila Frazier as Georgia, Julius Harris as Scatter and Charles McGregor as Fat Freddie. Curtis Mayfield and members of The Curtis Mayfield Experience appeared as themselves. Mayfield was responsible for the music in the film and the soundtrack outsold the box office take. Super Fly featured a customized 1971 Cadillac Eldorado and is credited with starting the car customization trend in the 1970s. There was a sequel called Super Fly T.N.T. in 1973 with O’Neal reprising his role. The original film’s producer Sig Shore directed a second sequel in 1990 called The Return of Superfly.
