Donald Glover’s Leaked ‘Deadpool’ TV Script Asks if The Show Was Canceled Due to ‘Racism’

Donald Glover told his fans in a series of tweets early on Tuesday morning that he was not too busy to work on the now-canceled Deadpool TV series. On Twitter Glover included a 15-page script for the FX series that made references as to why he believes the show was canceled.

“You know, I’m not mad about this whole ‘cancelled’ thing,” Deadpool says in the script. “I mean, is it even a good time to have a violent, gun-loving white man ranting on TV? Other than the PRESIDENT?” As he speculates on why the show was canned, he first suggests it wouldn’t sell toys, before wondering aloud: “Do you think they canceled the show… cause of racism?! Yeah, but all the writers were black. And the references were pretty black too. … Maybe we were alienating our white audience? No. We did a whole goat yoga episode. Damn.”

“Due to creative differences, FX, Donald Glover, Stephen Glover and Marvel Television have agreed to part ways on Marvel’s ‘Deadpool‘ animated series,” the cabler said in a statement. “FX will no longer be involved with the project. FX and Marvel have an ongoing relationship through our partnership on ‘Legion,’ which will continue.”

The Glover brothers were hired to write, executive produce and act as showrunners on the animated comedy-series that was being developed in Atlanta, Georgia and intended to launch later this year on FXX. In May 2017, the network ordered the series for a 10-episode first season.

Corey Feldman Stabbed in the Stomach

According to reports, Corey Feldman was hospitalized after he says a stranger stabbed him in the stomach and got away.

TMZ reports Corey Feldman was sitting in his car on Tuesday night in Los Angeles’ San Fernando Valley with a security guard when three men approached his car. He says while his security was distracted by the three guys, a car pulled up and another attacker jumped out and stabbed him in the abdomen and fled the scene of the crime.

Corey Feldman was rushed to the hospital after the attack, and that’s when the LAPD was informed of the violent attack. Police are reportedly now investigating the incident, but Feldman says he knows who is responsible.

He says he’s been getting online threats from some group of people he refers to as the “Wolfpack.” Corey adds, “I have reason to believe it’s all connected! Enough is enough!”

However, Extras Casting Atlanta recently posted a casting call looking for a photo double for kid actor Jeremy Ray Tyler and according to his IMDB page he is currently working on Goosebumps 2. That said, we cannot confirm at this time that this is the movie Extras Casting Atlanta is looking for. But, Goosebumps 2 is now filming in Atlanta, Georgia.
