This spot is about 3 generations of baseball fans (Adult son, dad and grandpa) sharing baseball stories. You can still apply even if you are not a baseball fan. Looking for real trios of son, dad and Grandpa. If you are only a duo, for example: Son and father only, father and grandpa only..etc, you can still apply. Ideally looking for African Canadian, Hispanic or Caucasian.

Adult Son – Age 30’s. He’s a guy who’d invite you over to watch the game or to a tailgate. He’s an animated story-teller. More the type to watch baseball than play it.

Dad – Age 50 to 65 ish. He’s your average baby boomer, maybe on the younger side. He could be just a few years from retiring from the job he’s had for 30 years.

Grandpa – Age 70 and up. He’s old but he still has a lot of personality. He’s one of those grandpas who looks like he has a lot of stories to tell.

Here are several actors who refused to kiss their co-stars on screen.

Many of us would love the chance to make out with Hollywood’s most popular actors, not all celebrities share the same enthusiasm. Many actors have even refused to kiss their co-stars, even if that meant that their jobs were on the line.

Recently, YouTuber Nicki Swift broke down which actors refused to make out with their costars. The list includes Neal McDonough, Denzel Washington, Kevin Hart, Janet Jackson, Lindsey Lohan and Miles Teller and Shailene Woodley.

For example, Denzel Washington reportedly decided not to film the scene with Julia Roberts because he did not want to play into Hollywood’s biased beauty ideals and alienate fans. Allison Samuels, a writer for Newsweek and the Daily Beast, talked about Washington’s decision in her 2007 book, Off the Record: A Reporter Unveils the Celebrity Worlds of Hollywood, Hip-hop, and Sports. According to Samuels, the Oscar-winner had this to say about foregoing that cinematic kiss: “Black women are not often seen as objects of desire on film. And they have always been my core audience.”

According to reports, Clint Eastwood’s next movie The Mule is  based on the life of 90-year old drug courier Leo Sharp. Sharp was an award-winning horticulturist and decorated WWII veteran known for his prized day lilies when he was busted for running drugs for Mexico’s Sinaloa Cartel, and sent to prison at the age of 90. He was transporting $3 million worth of cocaine through Michigan in his beat-up old pickup truck when he was arrested by the DEA. Sharp was sentenced to just three years after his lawyer argued that his client’s dementia sent him down the wrong path.

Are You an Aspiring Actor? NBC Wants To Pay for Your Acting Classes

What if I told you that NBC will pay for your acting classes. That’s right – NBC has sponsored this year’s UCB Theatre Training Center in New York City.

From NBCU:

NBCU is offering scholarships for students to take classes at The UCB Theatre Training Center in NYC.  A live “Finalists Showcase” will take place in August at The UCB Theatre for 10 finalists selected by the Artistic Director of the UCB Theatre NY and NBCU. The 2018 Diversity Scholar will be selected by both UCBT and NBCU executives based on the performances at the showcase. 

The scholarship recipient must be located in or around New York City. The recipient will be responsible for their own transportation costs to and from New York City for classes. The recipient may use the scholarship towards any UCB Training Center class they are eligible for (based on availability).

WHO CAN APPLY?

According to the press release, the scholarship is looking to “celebrate voices that are underrepresented in professional comedy jobs. Unfortunately, that tends to be anyone who isn’t a straight white male in their 20s. So, we invite all performers, particularly women and people from diverse backgrounds less commonly seen on the comedy stages of NYC, who are currently house performers at an improv theater or have completed a core improv course at a recognized long-form improv theatre/school to apply. In other words, this scholarship is not for beginners, but for folks with some comedy experience already under their belt. ”
