Boomerang is an upcoming comedy TV series based on the movie of the same name written by Barry W. Blaustein and David Sheffield. Boomerang revolves around “a successful executive who finds that his lifestyle choices have turned back on him when his new boss turns out to be a bigger deviant that he is. It is described as an updated version that explores contemporary workplace dynamics, including the changing role of gender, office politics, relationships and the conflicts between Generation X and millennials.”

Last April 2018, it was announced BET had given a series order for a first season consisting of ten episodes. On September, it was announced Lena Waithe and Ben Cory Jones would rite the series’ pilot episode together and executive produce the project alongside Halle Berry and Rishi Rajani. In October 2018, it was announced that Tequan Richmond, Tetona Jackson, Leland Martin, and Lala Milan had been cast in series regular roles and that RJ Walker, Paula Newsome, Brittany Inge, Joey BadA$$, and Kimberly Hall would appear in a recurring capacity.

Leading MacGyveractor is leaving the show following an on-set altercation in Atlanta, Georgia.
Filming in the state of Georgia is at an all-time high. There are over 20 TV shows and movies shooting in Georgia. One of the biggest shows filming in Atlanta is the CBS series MacGyver. However, one of the leading actors on the show is leaving after an alleged altercation on set. George Eads is leaving the show after a reported altercation on set. According to Cinema Blend, Eads had an argument and left the TV set in Atlanta, The alleged incident took place in October and possibly caused a “sticky situation on set.” Sources say there were several more T of production that day. That said, any “on-set altercation that may have happened did not immediately result in George Eads taking his leave of the series.” Jack has been a part of the show in Season 3 and The Hollywood Reporter stats Eads is still in production on MacGyver. Currently, his last episode on the show will air at some point in 2019. No details are now available about his character will be written out of the show. That said, the show could continue without George Eads in the show. One of the most straightforward options would be to kill his character off. With MacGyver filming in Atlanta, he would not have been able to travel back and forth to Los Angeles on a regular basis. Producers have reportedly agreed to Ead’s request to leave the show after Eads desire to quit the series. The altercation does not seem to have been that series that immediate action was warranted against him. Given the messy nature of the split, Eads may not make a return to CBS. He spent 15 seasons on CS, and his departure on that show was reportedly linked to an on-set issue between the actor and one of the writers. Viola Davis received critical acclaim on screen for her acting on screen, to television, to the theater. Because of that acclaim, one may assume that acting comes easy to Davis, after all, she has all of the awards to prove it.
However, in a recent interview with NPR to promote her role in the movie Widows, Davis spoke about the challenges of performing, including how important collaboration is in acting.
Davis said, “It takes a chunk out of your soul. It should. I think if it’s not costing you anything you’re not doing it right. My job is to create a human being. My job is as an observer and a thief. That I look at life every day, people may be walking by someone every day on the train, on the streets, and not notice little details. As an artist, you notice everything. You notice how people look when they’re falling in love. You notice that little blink in someone’s eye when they’re thinking about what they’re going to eat. The time their parent died, to feeling like life is hopeless. And within two seconds — because that’s how we think as people. You notice those things. And what we do as artists is to create human beings so people can feel less alone. That’s what you’re supposed to do.”
Davis added, “The audience is a part of the collaboration process. I can’t be an actor in my room. I can’t. I need the director, I need the script, all of those artists working to create the whole. But the other part that I need is the audience to come locked and loaded with all their thoughts, with all their memories, and to be able to look at the person that I’m creating on the stage and see themselves. Not a fantasy of themselves, not an extension, but themselves. So that’s what I do. That’s what sort of turns me on about what I do. And it is the most awesome way to feel empathy for another human being — to literally sit with them and to see them in their mess and their beauty.”

The Passage is about a secret government medical facility experimenting with a dangerous virus that could either cure all disease or cause the downfall of the human race. The series focuses on a 10?year?old Amy Bellafonte (Saniyya Sidney), who is chosen to be a test subject for this experiment, and Brad Wolgast (Mark-Paul Gosselaar), the federal agent who becomes her surrogate father as he tries to protect her.
