Central Casting Los Angeles is looking for LA union actors to play Secret Service types on HBO’s hit TV series VEEP. Producers are looking for background actors who have not worked in the last 12 weeks to work on the show. Executive producer Dick Wolf adds another Chicago-centric series to his roster, this time focusing on the city’s most explosive hospital and its staff of doctors and nurses — a world first glimpsed in the “I Am the Apocalypse” episode of “Chicago Fire.” Relationships are forged in the chaos of the emergency room, where the team tackles cases inspired by topical events. Showtime’s BILLIONS season 3 is now hiring extras to play political aides in New York City.

Grant Wilfley Casting is looking for SAG and non-union actors to play political aides on the show Billions. Filming will shoot between January 8th through the 21st in New York City. Non-union actors will be compensated $143/10 hours of work and $170/8 for SAG union actors. Everyone must be 18 or older, live in the New York City area, and have a valid ID.

About Billions:

 Wealth, influence, and corruption collide in this drama set in New York. Shrewd U.S. Attorney Chuck Rhoades is embroiled in a high-stakes game of predator vs. prey with Bobby Axelrod, an ambitious hedge-fund king. To date, Rhoades has never lost an insider trading case — he’s 81-0 — but when criminal evidence turns up against Axelrod, he proceeds cautiously in building the case against Axelrod, who employs Rhoades’ wife, psychiatrist Wendy, as a performance coach for his company. M. Night Shyamalan executive produces a new series for Apple’s upcoming streaming platform. The new series ‘Crumpet’ stars Harry Potter actor Rupert Grint.

“The exact details of the plot are being kept under wraps, but sources say the show follows a married couple that hires a young woman to serve as the nanny to their child,” according to Variety magazine.

The series is by Tony Basgallop, who will work as the show’s writer and executive producer. Shyamalan will executive produce and direct the first episode.
