Acting Tips for Kids

As a kid, acting can be enjoyable. But if you want to be a good actor, there are some things you need to keep in mind. Here are some acting tips for kids:

  1. Belief in what you’re doing. When performing, it’s essential to believe in what your character is doing. If you don’t believe in what you’re doing, it will be hard for the audience to believe in you.

  1. Be yourself. It’s essential to play a role that is true to who you are. Don’t try to be someone you’re not. The audience will see through it, making your performance less convincing.

  1. Be honest. When you’re performing, be open with your emotions. Don’t try to fake it. The audience will be able to tell, making your performance less believable.

  1. Know your lines. This one is self-explanatory. It will be challenging to deliver a convincing performance if you don’t know your lines.

  1. Practice, practice, practice. The more you practice, the better you’ll be at performing. So make sure to rehearse your lines and blocking before the big day.

  1. Stay in character. Once you’re in character, it’s essential to stay in character. Don’t break character unless it’s necessary.

  1. Be aware of your body language. Your body language says much about your character and can influence how the audience perceives you. So make sure you know how you’re standing and moving onstage.

  1. Listen to directions. If the director gives you a note, make sure you listen to it and try to incorporate it into your performance.

  1. Relax and have fun. Acting is supposed to be fun. So relax and enjoy yourself. The more fun you’re having, the better your performance will be.

When shooting a video, there are a few things to keep in mind to ensure you give the best performance possible. Here are some tips:

First and foremost, be prepared. Know your lines inside and out so you can focus on delivering them convincingly.

Pay attention to the director’s instructions and take direction well. It’s essential to be able to take advice and use it to improve your performance.

Stay focused and present throughout the entire shoot. It can be difficult, especially if you’re shooting for long hours, but it’s essential to maintain your energy and focus, so your performance doesn’t suffer.

What is an Infomercial?

Infomercials are a type of advertising that typically feature a product or service being promoted in a lengthy, often exaggerated manner. They are commonly seen on television, but can also be found in other forms of media such as radio, print, and online.

Informercials often use persuasive techniques to get viewers to take action, such as urging them to call a toll-free number or visit a website. Some common claims made in infomercials include “this product will change your life!” or “you won’t believe the results you’ll get!”

While infomercials can be effective in promoting products or services, they are also often criticized for being too long, too pushy, and for making false claims. If you’re considering using an infomercial to promote your business, it’s important to make sure that you create a well-crafted and truthful ad that will capture attention without turning viewers off.

Acting Tips

Infomercials are a great way to get your message across to potential customers. However, there are a few things you should keep in mind when creating an infomercial.

First, you need to make sure that your message is clear and concise. You don’t want to overwhelm viewers with too much information.

Secondly, you need to make sure that your infomercial is entertaining. If it’s not, people will simply change the channel.

Finally, you need to make sure that you’re offering something of value. If you’re not, people will see right through your infomercial and it will be a waste of time.

Modeling Tips in a Photoshoot

Model shoots are a great way to show off your best features and get amazing photographs for your portfolio. However, they can also be quite nerve-wracking, especially if you’re new to modeling. Here are a few tips to help you make the most of your next model shoot.

  1. Relax and be yourself. The camera will pick up on any tension or discomfort you’re feeling, so it’s essential to relax and be yourself. Take a few deep breaths and try to think of something happy or funny before the shoot begins.
  2. Work with the photographer. A good photographer will want to work with you to get the best results. Listen to their suggestions, and don’t be afraid to try new things.
  3. Know your angles. Everyone has their best side, so make sure you know yours! Practice posing in front of a mirror at home so you’ll be prepared for your shoot.
  4. Wear the proper clothing. You want to look your best for your model shoot, so choose clothes that flatter your figure and make you feel confident. Avoid anything too baggy or constricting, and ensure your shoes are comfortable enough to walk and stand in for long periods.
  5. Be prepared to take direction. The photographer will likely give you some advice during the shoot, so it’s essential to be open to their suggestions. They know what they’re doing, so trust their expertise!
  6. Have fun! Modeling can be a lot of work, but it should also be enjoyable. So make sure to relax and have fun during your shoot. Smiling is always a good idea!

About ‘House of the Dragon’:

House of the Dragon is an American fantasy drama television series independently created by George R.R Martin and Ryan Condal as a prequel to Game of Thrones (2011-2019). Both television series stems from Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire novels. The showrunners are Condal and Miguel Sapochnik. The series is set about 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones. It is 172 years before the birth of Daenerys Targaryen, a descendant of the eponymous royal house, and 100 years after Seven Kingdoms was united by force under Targaryen’s rule. The novel, “Dance of the Dragons” covers the events leading up to and resulting in House Targaryen’s civil war.

In October 2019, House of the Dragon was ordered straight to series. A little over a year later in July 2020, casting for the show began, with principle photography set to start April 2021 in the United Kingdom. The series premiered on August 21, 2022 and five days later was renewed for a second season. The first season consisted of ten episodes. After Sapochnik finished showrunning the first season, Condal took over as the sole showrunner for the second season. ‘House of the Dragon’ Enters HBO History as Most-Watched Season Finale Since’ Game of Thrones’

House of the Dragon’s season one finale shatters HBO’s records, becoming their most-watched season finale since Game of Thrones.

As compared to three years, ago, 9.3 million more people tuned in to watch the season finale of “The Black Queen” on Sunday night. Although this is still significantly lower than the 19.8 million viewers who watched the series finale of Game of Thrones, it exceeds House of Dragon’s record high earlier in the season by 800 thousand views, with 10.2 million total during episode two.

“We’re so thrilled to see House of the Dragon catch fire with Game of Thrones fans around the world, as well as new viewers who are discovering the world of Westeros for the first time,” said Casey Bloys, Chairman and CEO of HBO and HBO Max. “Congrats to George, Ryan, Miguel, and the whole House of the Dragon team on an incredible first season.”

The following season of House of the Dragon is set to premiere in 2024.

‘House of the Dragon’ Season 2 Begins Production in Early 2023.

The follow-up season will occur five days after the premiere.

House of the Dragon’s first season was reasonably slow-paced, focusing much on relationships and tension between Targaryens. However, things started to pick up speed towards the end of the series, resulting in an inspiring finale. Now that fans have had time to process everything that happened, many wonders when Season 2 is coming out.

The show’s second season was confirmed five days after its premiere, which broke records with nearly 10 million viewers in the United States. Ryan Condal, the series’ producer, says that filming for Season 2 will start in early 2023. This means that fans can expect the show to return in either late 2023 or early 2024 and focus on the civil war known as the Dance of Dragons.

“Because of the incredibly demanding production schedule of the show, facets of the show have to overlap with one another, which means that we were writing Season 2 long before they ever announced it, while we were in post in Season 1. So we really have to storm right into the making of Season 2 now in order to keep pace with fans’ healthy appetites for material and HBO’s need and desire to release the show in a reasonable timeframe from season to season,” says Condal.

Season 1 of the House of Dragon is now accessible on HBO Max.

Following the success of “House of the Dragon,” HBO plans to develop more spin offs related to “Game of Thrones.”

The show’s season one finale became HBO’s most-watched since ‘GoT.’

HBO is looking to produce more Game of Thrones spinoffs, thanks to the success of House of the Dragon.

Casey Bloys of HBO stated that their next project would likely be the second season of the show. In addition, they will begin developing spinoffs with George R.R. Martin as soon as he finds a story he “is happy with” He continued,” I try not to comment too much [on] development, so there’s not a whole lot to say, other than when we find the story that George is happy with, and we’re happy with, we’ll move forward.”

The HBO exec refused to comment on whether the network would release a spinoff show yearly; they said: “Well, let’s see.” He added, “That would be nice. That would be nice.”

The season one finale of House of the Dragon, entitled “The Black Queen,” was viewed by 9.3 million people across all platforms during its premiere on Sunday night. This makes it HBO’s most-watched season finale since the series ender of Game of Thrones.

Anne Hathaway Reveals How She Uses Past Acting Performances for Future Projects

Anne Hathaway reminisces about a moment from ‘WeCrashed’ that was drawn from her first acting role.

“I remember when I was younger, an actor saying, ‘You can only ever really play yourself.’ And I thought, ‘I don’t know that I fully agree with that. I’m trying to play as many different characters as I can.'” – Anne Hathaway

Academy Award-winning actress Anne Hathaway and Emmy Award-winning actor Jeremy Strong, who have both starred in the 2019 film Serenity and the upcoming 2022 film Armageddon Time, had a conversation discussing their work. In this “Actors on Actors” interview with Variety, Hathaway shared an exciting story about a scene from one of her most recent projects.

According to WeCrashed star Anne Hathaway, one of the scenes in the new Apple TV+ series was an idea she had during her first acting job, but never got to use. She finally found a place for it in this show about the disastrous company WeWork:

“My very first job was on a TV show called Get Real. It was my senior year of high school. I was away from home. I was shooting in Los Angeles. I was 16. There were just a lot of feelings that I had that I didn’t understand. I would have to go to set and feel really nervous, and I would start to cry, but I would know that I couldn’t cry my makeup off. So I would take a tissue and fold it in half and I would cry into the tissue. After doing this a certain number of times, I remember thinking to myself, “This would be great to see on camera.” And I have tried to get that moment into a film on several occasions, and everybody always looked at me like I had three heads when I would suggest it. She has to cry without crying off her makeup, which is something that I think a lot of women understand. I just had a feeling that it would look really strong on camera to watch the tears just saturate the tissue but not fall.”

Hathaway reflects on a moment from her past and returns to a common adage about acting. She shares her thoughts on whether or not actors are only capable of playing versions of themselves. She says, “I remember when I was younger, an actor saying, ‘You can only ever really play yourself.’ And I thought, ‘I don’t know that I fully agree with that. I’m trying to play as many different characters as I can.’ I don’t necessarily work this way anymore, but in the beginning part of my career, I did connect to my characters through trauma. I would kind of search out parts in myself where I was broken and parts where they were broken, and I would try to find my way into them through that way.”

Jonathan Majors Reveals His Acting Preparation for Marvel

In a recent interview, Jonathan Majors talked about preparing for his role in Marvel’s ‘Avengers: The Kang Dynasty’ with director Destin Daniel Cretton.

It may appear as though Jonathan Majors is appearing in everything these days, and that’s because he has been.

Over the weekend, Michael B. Jordan shared the first look of Majors as boxer Damian “Dame” Anderson in “Creed III” at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures Gala and Variety’s honoring event at Newport Beach Film Festival.

Majors summed up his whirlwind past few months simply: “It’s just the season,” he told Variety’s Angelique Jackson at Newport Beach on Sunday.

It has most definitely been actor Majors’ season as of late. He was recently praised at the festival with an Artist of Distinction award for his top-notch role in “Devotion.” In the film, he acts out pioneering fighter pilot Jesse Brown–the Navy’s first Black aviator. Following that part, he has even more upcoming movies lined up, one of which fans are incredibly excited for: His portrayal of Kang the Conqueror in Marvel’s “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.” The movie is set to come out next February.

Majors expressed his delight at joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe to Variety’s Marc Malkin at Saturday’s Academy Gala, remarking that “every time they call and say, ‘Hey, we need you for this,’ it’s another miracle.

The actor is only taking his Marvel duties “scene by scene,” but he knows very well how big of a deal to be part of these movies. “Every time there’s an event about it or something breaks about it, I go, ‘Yeah this is real,'” he said.

The first time he saw himself in the role of Kang, Majors wasn’t sure if it was him on screen. “Because he looks different than I do. He is a different man than I am. He used all my material, but he’s a different cat,” he cracked. “When I first heard the trailer, I didn’t recognize the voice, and he was narrating the whole thing. I was like, ‘What is that?’ I was like, ‘Oh, that’s a great line. That’s a bar; that is a bar.’ And then they showed who it is and I was like, ‘Oh, oh, oh, okay, cool.'”

The world has yet to get their first glimpse at Kang — save for lucky fans who saw the trailer at Comic-Con and D23 — but everyone has seen the actor’s recent physical transformation, courtesy of his ab-tastic Men’s Health cover, which exploded onto the internet last week. The recipe for those: “Work. Time. Prayer. Rice and chicken, six times a day,” he quipped, noting that the training wasn’t “hard,” but it was like an event. It was a year-and-a-half of his life with a regimen of “Wake up, workout, act, sleep, repeat.”

Kang’s road as part of Marvel’s Phase 5 will lead to the 2025 film, “Avengers: The Kang Dynasty.” This was recently announced by Destin Daniel Cretton, who is also directing “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.” On Sunday at the Newport Best Film Festival, Majors confirmed that he and Cretton have already begun talking about the story arc.

“Well, we just had a few chats. We spoke for a very long time,” Majors shared. “He’s an open mind. He’s an open heart. He and the work that he does is grounded, and that’s the most important part about it.”

He proceeded by explaining Cretton’s importance.

“We’re dealing with myths: what is a ‘Kang’? What is a movie? You know, what is an MCU movie? What does that mean? What’s that look like?” Majors observed. “Those are the questions we are asking, but all of that works when it’s grounded and really, really really, tucked into the given circumstances of what’s going on between these people and what we can illuminate for ourselves as a species.”

The question of what makes Kang — who is set up to be the MCU’s new primary antagonist — a villain is still in question. “What is a villain?”

After his MCU moment, Majors will play an amateur bodybuilder in “Magazine Dreams” and then act opposite Willem Dafoe in “The Man in My Basement,” the film adaptation of Walter Mosley’s bestselling novel. The Emmy-nominated actor is also interested in playing Dennis Rodman in Lionsgate’s “48 Hours in Vegas,” about the then-Chicago Bulls stars’ infamous trip during the 1998 NBA Finals.

“His character as a man is one that is unbridled,” Majors said of Rodman, explaining that questions like “What is to be free? To make your choices, regardless of the impending consequences?” are what he most loves to explore.

“He’s eclectic. He’s an open mind. He’s an open heart. And, selfishly, you want to play a role like that because it’s gonna push you to that place,” Majors explained. “Jesse Brown teaches me things about my soul and spirit. I know Rodman’s going to too, and I’m just looking forward to getting into it.”

For the time being, Majors is concentrated on “Devotion.” The film, directed by J.D. Dillard, had its world premiere in September at the Toronto International Film Festival. It has been advancing across the festival circuit ever since, receiving high praise at every stop.

“My brother, the president of Newport [Beach Film Fest.] pulled me aside, and he’s been very complimentary about the film. He said that his father was in the Navy and loved that it was a true depiction of it,” Majors shared. “When I looked at his face, I felt he meant it. He’s a middle-aged, beautiful man from a different background and myself, and he’s being touched by it. So I go, okay, that’s what we want to do.”

At the event, Majors was joined by Dillard, who presented him with the award. His co-star Christina Jackson was also in attendance and honored as one of Variety’s 10 Actors to Watch.

Majors was more excited about Jackson’s success than his own. “I remember how we worked on the set together — her excitement, her focus, her willingness to try,” he explained. “I’ve been watching her for a long time, and so I’m glad everybody else is waking up.”

“Devotion” hits theaters on Nov. 23.

Modeling Tips

When you’re in front of the camera, it’s important to remember that modeling is all about angles. The right angle can make all the difference in how you look in a photograph. Here are some tips on finding the best grades for your body type:

If you have a small frame:

– Try to find angles that make you look longer and leaner. Avoid poses that make you look slouched or round.

– Highlight your best features. If you have great legs, show them off with a pose that accentuates them. If you have nice shoulders, try a pose that shows them off.

If you have a medium or large frame:

– Remember that not all photos have to be full-body shots. Try close-ups or three-quarter shots to highlight your best features.

– Avoid poses that make you look slouched or round. Instead, try poses that make you look taller and more confident.

No matter what your body type is, finding the angles that work best for you is essential. Experiment with different poses and angles until you find the ones that flatter you the most. With some practice, you’ll be a pro at finding your best angles in no time!

Wahlberg is one of Hollywood’s most in-demand actors, and he started 2020 with a bang by starring in Uncharted alongside Tom Holland. The movie grossed more than $400 million worldwide and was well-received by audiences. He followed up that success with the Sony Pictures drama Father Stu, and his next project is the Netflix comedy feature film Me Timeopposite Kevin Hart. Wahlberg is also attached to star in the upcoming Netflix thriller Our Man From Jersey. WME and Leverage Management represent him.

Some of Jones’ well-known roles are Arthur the King opposite Wahlberg, Years and Years, and the upcoming Netflix series The Diplomat. Gersh and Independent Talent Group represents him.

Skydance is teaming up with Coggeshall for a second time with their new project, The Family Plan. The new film arrives shortly after Apple joined forces with Skydance to produce Dallas Sting, starring Matthew McConaughey. As for other films in the partnership between Apple and Skydance Media, The Greatest Beer Run Ever is next; from director Peter Farrelly, it stars Zac Efron and Russell Crowe and will open September 30 following its world premiere at the Toronto Film Festival. Also upcoming is Ghosted, a high-concept romantic action adventure starring Chris Evans and Ana de Armas, directed by Dexter Fletcher.

Apple and Sky dance Animation have partnered for several years now, with the most recent production being Luck. The movie was directed by Peggy Holmes and scored by Alan Menken, with lyrics from Glenn Slater. Chris Montan served as an executive music producer. Together, they are also working on two seasons of the show Wondla.

How to Get Cast in FX’s ‘Feud: Capote Women’

0

FX’s ‘Feud: Capote’ casting call for background actors in New York City.

FX’s ‘Feud: Capote Women’ Casting directors are now casting actors, models, and influencers to work on scenes filming in New York City.

Producers are seeking and hiring the following types:

  • Background Actor

About ‘Feud: Capote’s Women’:

‘Feud:’ Naomi Watts To Take On The Role Of One Of Capote’s Women In Season 2 Of The FX series, Written By Jon Robin Baitz And Directed By Gus Van Sant.

Ryan Murphy and Plan B are working on the second part of their FX anthology series, Feud. The new installment, Capote’s Women, will feature Naomi Watts as Babe Paley. Paley was a crucial figure in New York society during the 1960s and 70s. Gus Van Sant is set to direct all eight new show episodes. Tony and Pulitzer-nominated Jon Robin Baitz put together the project, wrote all attacks, and will also serve as showrunner.

Join Project Casting to access jobs you can apply to right now.

The miniseries, set in the 1970s and ends with Truman Capote’s 1984 death, adapts Laurence Leamer’s bestselling book “Capote’s Women: A True Story of Love, Betrayal, and a Swan Song for an Era.” It chronicles how the famous wunderkind author upset several of his female friends—who he called his “swans”—by publishing a roman à clef short story entitled “La Côte Basque 1965” in Esquire magazine in 1975. The writing was meant to be a chapter in Capote’s world-famous, unfinished novel “Answered Prayers,” his next book after the bestseller “In Cold Blood.”

After releasing “In Cold Blood” to critical acclaim, Capote rubbed elbows with New York City’s social elite. He referred to high-society women as his “swans.” He counted some of the most beautiful and wealthy women among his close friends, including Babe Paley (wife of CBS head Bill Paley), Slim Keith, Pamela Churchill Harriman (ex-wife of Winston’s son), Lee Radziwill (sister of Jackie Kennedy), Gloria Guinness, and CZ Guest.

La Côte Basque’s characters were not easy to tell apart from Capote’s real-life female confidants. The book contained a lot of shocking secrets and scandals, such as adultery and murder. Once the book was published, all of Capote’s friends (whom he called his “swans”) cut him off. He also lost his good reputation and social standing.

The search for an actor to play Capote in the upcoming film Capote’s Women is currently underway worldwide. The producers of the miniseries (Baitz, Watts, and Van Sant) are expected to begin casting other roles next week with a focus on Oscar-nominated and winning actresses who can star alongside Watts as Capote’s Socialite Swans, including Slim, Pamela, Lee, Gloria, and CZ, as well as Johnny Carson’s second wife Joanne Carson; all friends of Capote who remained close to him until his death.

Feud, created by Murphy, Jaffe Cohen, and Michael Zam, lured in Jessica Lange and Susan Sarandon as the leading roles of Hollywood icons Joan Crawford and Bette Davis.

The upcoming Feud: Capote’s Women will be produced by Brothers & Sisters creator Baitz, Milk director Van Sant, and Watts. It is being executive produced/produced by Murphy, Plan B’s Dede Gardner, Tim Minear, Alexis Martin Woodall, Lange, and Sarandon. 20th Television Studio is making it in collaboration with Plan B Entertainment and Ryan Murphy Productions. New York will begin filming this series this fall.

Regina Schneider played Babe Paley in an episode of the Netflix limited series Halston, which was executive produced by Murphy.

The 2005 movie Capote, starring Philip Seymour Hoffman (who won an Oscar for the title) and Michelle Harrison, was set during an earlier period of the novelist’s life. In 2006’s Infamous, Capote was played by Toby Jones, with Sigourney Weaver as Babe Paley and Hope Davis as Slim Keith.

The 2017 show Feud: Bette and Joan was welcomed with open arms by audiences, earning 18 Emmy nominations. Some of these nods include Outstanding Limited Series and two Outstanding Lead Actresses in a Limited Series or Movie for Lange and Sarandon, respectively.

The Feud team had plans for Charles and Diana-centric second season, but it, unfortunately, never came to fruition.

1970s New York is the perfect setting for Murphy’s latest series, joining Halston. Additionally, he executive produced FX’s acclaimed series Pose, which was set in NYC a decade later.

CAA and Untitled Entertainment represent Watts, who also stars in Van Sant’s upcoming Netflix series The Watcher. WME reps Van Sant; Baitz is repped by CAA.

The comedy series featuring Ophelia Lovibond and Jake Johnson has been renewed for a second season by HBO Max.

The release date for the second season is yet to be announced, but it will come after the first one premiered on March 17.

Joyce (Lovibond), a passionate young feminist, teams up with a below-average publisher (Johnson) to make the first magazine devoted to female eroticism set in 1970s Los Angeles.

In addition to the excellent cast, Idara Victor, Jessica Lowe, Lennon Parham, Michael Angarano, and Oscar Montoya have starring roles.

The show is created and run by Ellen Rapoport, executive producer, alongside Paul Feig and Dan Magnante for Feigco Entertainment. Jake Johnson serves as a co-executive producer, while Ben Karlin and Rachel Lee Goldenberg act as directors for the pilot episode. Lionsgate Television studio produces the show.

Rapoport said, “All of us at Minx has been blown away by the passionate response from audiences across the world, who have mashed up, TikTok-ed, and fanfic-ed us into a renewal. We are so grateful to our partners at HBO Max and Lionsgate for being true champions of the show and for the opportunity to continue on this journey. Here’s to more chest hair, pussy bow blouses, and tasteful nudes in season two.”

Sarah Aubrey, Head of Original Content, HBO Max, added, “We are thrilled that the world of Minx has resonated in the way that it has. Showrunner and creator Ellen Rapoport, alongside the rest of our gifted creative team, masterfully deliver nuanced humor, with the cast executing her vision seamlessly. We can’t wait for fans to see what medicine Doug and Joyce hide in peanut butter for season two.”

Scott Herbst, Head of Scripted Development and EVP at Lionsgate Television, stated: “Size does matter, and we are excited to have our partners at a huge platform like HBO Max extend Minx for a second season. The creative team led by Ellen Rapoport and the extraordinary cast have created a gem in season one, and we look forward to exposing the acclaimed show’s fans to more fun and incredibly original storytelling.”

How to Get Cast in Disney’s ‘Genius’ Season 4

0

Disney’s ‘GENIUS’ season 4 is now casting and hiring talent in Atlanta, Georgia.

Disney Casting directors are now casting actors, models, and influencers to work on scenes filming in Atlanta, Georgia.

Producers are seeking and hiring the following types:

  • Background Actors

About Disney+’s ‘GENIUS’:

The Upcoming Fourth Season Of The Show ‘Genius’ Will Highlight Both MLK And Malcolm X In Its Premiere.

The critically acclaimed “Genius” anthology series earned 20 Emmy nominations for its first three seasons before moving from National Geographic and Hulu to Disney+. Season 4, titled “Genius: MLK/X,” features not one but two Civil Rights leaders – Dr. Martin Luther King and Malcolm X – in a first for the series.

“Genius: MLK-X” Raphael Jackson, Jr. and Damione Macedon are executive producers who set out to explore the formative years, pioneering accomplishments, dual philosophies, and key personal relationships of Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X. Jeff Stetson is the screenwriter penning the pilot episode.

According to an official series description, “While King advanced racial equality through nonviolent protest, Malcolm X argued forcefully for Black empowerment, identity, and self-determination. With their formidable wives, Coretta Scott King and Betty Shabazz, by their sides, King and Malcolm X became synonymous with the civil rights era and the fight for racial and economic justice. While they met only once and often challenged each other’s views, neither would have been as successful without the other.”

The new Disney+ series from National Geographic will be executive produced by a team including Reggie Rock Bythewood, Gina Prince-Bythewood, Brian Grazer, and Ron Howard. The production company Imagines Television Studios and 20th Television are partnering on the project.

The Bythewoods, executive producers, said: “Malcolm and Martin are staggering icons, and we have been eager to explore the genius of these two very real men in a way that has not yet been seen. We are excited to team up with Imagine Entertainment and 20th Television to reflect on their amazing lives and contributions to civil rights and the urgency of today.”

Reggie Rock Bythewood is the creator and showrunner of “Swagger,” an Apple TV+ series from Imagine Television. The series was inspired by NBA superstar Kevin Durant’s youth basketball experiences. His wife and creative partner, Gina Prince-Bythewood, is directing the historical epic “The Woman King,” starring Academy Award winner Viola Davis and breakout Thuso Mbedu from “Underground Railroad.” The Bythewoods also co-created the series “Shots Fired” together.

Jackson and Macedon, co-showrunners of “Genius: MLK-X,” was previously consulting producers for “The Mosquito Coast” on Apple TV+.

The first entry in the “Genius” anthology series, starring Geoffrey Rush as Albert Einstein, premiered on National Geographic in 2017.

The second season of “Genius” starred Antonio Banderas as Spanish painter Pablo Picasso and was just as successful as the first. The third installment, “Genius: Aretha,” featured Cynthia Erivo in the titular role of legendary singer Aretha Franklin. It premiered to great success, becoming the most-watched telecast on National Geographic in two years.

Thus far, no actor announcements have been made for the film “Genius: MLK/X.”
