Casting directors and producers for The Originals are now seeking new talents to portray werewolves in the TV series filming in Atlanta.

Tammy Smith Casting of Atlanta posted a casting call seeking extras to portray werewolves on the popular TV series ‘The Originals’. Casting directors are looking for tough looking and shabby looking men and women in the Atlanta, area.

Filming will happen on Monday May 19th, or Tuesday, May 20th in Conyers, Georgia.

The Originals is a spin-off from The Vampire Diaries and set in New Orleans, The Originals centers on the Mikaelson siblings, otherwise known as the world’s original vampires: Klaus (Joseph Morgan), Elijah (Daniel Gillies), and Rebekah (Claire Holt). Now Klaus must take down his protégé, Marcel (Charles Michael Davis), who is now in charge of New Orleans, in order to re-take his city, as he originally built New Orleans.

Over $20 Million Lawsuit Filed Against Dr. Dre’s Beats Headphones

After making billions in a major deal between Apple and Beats headphones, Dr. Dre is hit with a $20 million dollar lawsuit.

According to TheWrap, an employee of Dr. Dre Beats was hiried and deliberately fired before he was able to collect his hands on the Apple payout.

Dre and Jimmy Iovine’s Beats Electronics is named in a lawsuit filed by David Hyman, the founder of online music subscription service MOG, who says that he was fired before he could receive the benefits of his incentive plan after MOG was purchased in 2012 [TheWrap].

Hyman argues in his lawsuit that he is rightfully owed a portion of the deal between Apple and Dr. Dre beats. But, instead of paying him, Dr. Dre decided to fire the partner. “The suit also claims that he was promised a grant of 25 percent of the company’s outstanding equity interests following adoption of the incentive plan if the company achieved a fair market value of $500 million or more.[via]”

AMC has picked up three reality new shows to add to their network.

AMC is expanding the the number of series to three with All Star Celebrity Bowling, Visionaries, and The Untitled Billy Corgan Wrestling Project. 

The new All-Star Celebrity is a mixture between a talk show and a game show where celebrities bowl for charities.One of the upcoming episodes includes the cast of Mad Men versus the crew of Nerdist. 

Visionaries centers on the crew members that construct Hollywood sets and props.

The Untitled Billy Corgan Wrestling Project centers on a professional wrestling team in Chicago.

Bradley Cooper and Todd Phillips Join with Warner Bros. for New Production Company

The Hangover buddies, Bradley Cooper and Todd Phillips, have joined together for a production company.

According to Deadline, Bradley Cooper and Todd Phillips have signed a three-year deal at Warner Bros.

The unnamed production company, was created alongside Warner Bros. president Greg Silverman and it might be the biggest production of an actor and director since, George Clooney came together with Steven Soderbegh.

The George Clooney and Steven Soderbegh production company, Section 8 produced movies such as the critically acclaimed hits Far From Heaven, Insomnia, Syriana, A Scanner Darkly and Michael Clayton.

But, according to recent reports it looks as though Bradley Cooper will act in upcoming productions and Todd Phillips will direct.

The new feature film they will make is called Arms & The Dudes. According to Variety, the movie centers on two stoner arms dealers based on the Rolling Stone Article, Arms and the Dudes.

Producers have just released their first photo from the set of Star Wars Episode 7

The new Star Wars Episode 7 features the return of Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, and Mark Hamill. New cast members will include Oscar Isaac (Inside Llewyn Davis), Adam Driver (Girls), John Boyega (Attack the Block), Andy Serkis (Rise of the Planet of the Apes), Domhnall Gleeson (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, About Time), Oscar-nominee Max von Sydow, and UK actress Daisy Ridley and Anthony Daniels AKA C-3PO Peter Mayhew AKA Chewbacca and Kenny Baker AKA R2-D2.

It will be a busy summer in the UK, but JJ Abrams has a plan and it looks like the world is waiting in anticipation for the release!

Brad Pitt to Star in HBO’s ‘True Detective’ Season 2?

Here is everything we know so far about HBO’s ‘True Detective’ Season Two…not much.

Creator Nic Pizzolato has kept a tight lid on what to expect in the second season of the HBO series. According to reports, Pizzolato commented that it is “not about solving a murder mystery but a story of a detective chasing after an elusive criminal,”. Which is not much but, it sure peaks your interests.

One thing that seperates Pizzolato’s crime drama versus other series such as CSI is the A-list actors that are picked up to work on the movie. Now, according to reports it is beleived that Brad Pitt will be the next actor to join the cast of the second season of ‘True Detective’.

According to the Daily Star UK…Brad Pitt could be the star of True Detective Season 2. The report suggests that the actor is “close to signing a deal” to star as the main cast member. Brad Pitt is reportedly “thrashing out last minute details of a deal” with HBO. 12 Years a Slave actor has already given the “green light” to the new project. (Via)

But, since their is no source crediting the Daily Star, it is hard to believe that this is actually true. We will keep you updated!

Vh1 is currently in production for a new reality series shooting in NYC!

The show will feature real stories of real people who use DNA testing to find answers about their families long lost siblings, biological parents… you name it!

For this shoot, we need active participation from extras, which means you may potentially get to speak on camera! We want to capture people reacting to seeing the DNA testing truck on the streets of NYC.  Shooting will be outside, and a lot of fun. Our cast and crew are extremely professional and always excited to work with extras on set. The shoot won’t be too long- lasting about 2 hours (give or take).

Producers for ‘Sleepy Hollow’ hinted that there will be new villains coming in to Sleepy Hollow for Ichabod and Co. to worry about. Though they were coy, they shared some details as to who will be joining the war.

The Veronica Mars spinoff is coming soon and pre-production has already started for the new movie.

Producers have just released they tile of the new Veronica Mars sequel. It is currently titled, Play It Again, Dick and it will feature Ryan Hansen was the leading role.

According to Deadline, Web spinoff is “a comedy featuring Ryan Hansen attempting to put together a Dick Casablancas spin-off ofVeronica Mars.” The web series, said to consist of 10-minute episodes, will run on the CW’s digital platform CW Seed. [Deadline]”

Here is the latest trailer from Michael Bay’s envisioned Transformers sequel. The new movie co-stars Nicola Peltz, Stanley Tucci, T.J. Miller and Kentanabe.

“Transformers: Age of Extinction” was written by Ehren Kruger and executive produced by Steven Spielberg.

There is a crazy level of mayhem and danger. The new movie will hit theaters on June 27th.

‘Blade Runner 2’ is coming soon and it is expected to feature Harrison Ford.

Reports from Deadline indicate that Harrison Ford is set to reprise his role of Rick Deckard in the sequel to Blade Runner. 

The new sequel is based on the 1980s hit feature film. The sequel will feature the original screenwriter Hampton Fancher and Michael Green and will take place decades after the original hit movie. Alcon Entertainment purchased the rights to the Blade Runner series in 2011 from the producer Bud Yorkin.

Alcon actually sent a press release out that it offered the role to Ford (which is unusual in itself), but Ford gave an interview recently that he was anxious to see the script for Blade Runner. He has expressed interest in reprising the role in the past, but no deal is set as he has yet to read the script. If Ford agrees to the script, this is the second audience-pleasing role that the actor would be stepping into. Between filming Star Wars Episode 7 and ‘Blade Runner 2’ Harrison Ford is going to be a busy man. JJ Abrams is currently directing and co-writing the script with Lawrence Kasdan and producing with Kathleen Kennedy and Bryan Burk.

The CW Network just released the new trailer for the new series ‘Jane The Virgin’

‘Jane The Virgin’ is the next television series picked up by The CW Network. The series is based on the successful Venezuelan telenovela and centers on the unforeseen events causes a hard-working, religious young Latina woman to be accidentally artificially inseminated.

The comedic series is produced by CBS Television Studios. From writer/executive producer Jennie Snyder Urman, director/executive producer Brad Silberling and executive producers Ben Silverman, Gary Pearl and Jorge Granier.
