Nothing Is Funnier Than These New York Subway Passengers Trapped In A Moving Car With A Rat
New York City has some of the biggest rats in the world. The rats are about the size of small cats and are packed full of diseases, bacteria, and garbage.
According to a recent estimate biologists estimate that there are 4 rats for every person in New York City. That makes out to be 32 million rats.
Because rats are elusive by nature, public health officials have not developed any reliable way to estimate the prevalence of rats in the city. An often-repeated statistic is that there are more rats than people in the five boroughs of New York City (8.3 million), though some estimate the number as far higher, as many as four rats per person (32 million).
Now imagine being stuck in a moving train to your next audition when you see a rat. There is nowhere to go, until the next stop. Well this is exactly what happened to these New Yorkers:

Watch a reporter go through a walking approach shot aboard a large ship in the Netherlands before sitting down for an interview with a local mayor. But, it does not end very well.
Kudos to the sound guy for recording sound instead of trying to save the reporter’s life. I guess “never stop filming” is taken literally all around the world.

Filming is currently taking place for a brand new movie about Lionel Messi’s life story.
The movie is set to hit cinemas in time for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, and it is being made by Spanish director Alex de la Iglesia.
The film will be based on Luca Caioli’s book ‘Messi’, which features interviews with the player’s former coaches, family and team-mates, as well as the man himself.
With that as the backdrop, pictures have come out on Friday of the child actor playing the role of Lionel Messi in the feature film.

Game of Thrones is continuing to grow a huge audience.
Game of Thrones is HBO’s most watched series and it’s return for their fourth season last Sunday night, is already breaking previous viewership records.
The 9 p.m. premiere earned 6.6 million viewers. That is up 2.2 million viewers from last season’s 4.4 million premiere. The episode now ranks as HBO’s most watched series since the 2007 series finale of The Sopranos.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the number of viewers increased by another 1.6 million viewers for he 11 p.m. to a total of 8.2 million.
Last year saw Game of Thrones eclipse True Blood as HBO’s biggest series, grossing an average 14.4 million viewers every week thanks to live plays, encores, On Demand and HBO Go views. Speaking of HBO Go, the streaming service crashed for the second time in a month on Sunday night. Interest in Game of Thrones, like the True Detective finale, saw usage surge and temporary crashes on many platforms.
Game of Thrones‘ latest increase can be at least partially chalked up to the series’ success with binge watchers. Game of Thrones‘ first three seasons are available on HBO Go, and the drama also holds the title of TV’s most pirated series. Last season’s episodes notched as many as 5.9 million downloads according to BitTorrent.
The other HBO series did not do nearly as well but they benefited from the Game of Thrones fans. HBO’s new television series Silicon Valley had their biggest half-hour launch with 2 million viewers. While the HBO’s VEEP averaged about 1 million viewers.

The $15 million dollar incentives debate may almost be over.
The producers of the Netflix series had threatened to move production of the third season elsewhere if they were not given another $15 million dollars in benefits.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the House of Cards will continue production in Maryland after the state’s House of Delegates approved legislation last Monday. The legislation boosts funding for movie and TV tax incentives to $18.5 million from the previous $7.5 million. This raises the cap any one show can receive to up to $15 million.
The Senate must still reconfirm (however, on March 17 it supported a similar version of the bill by a vote of 45 to 1, with one abstention), and Governor Martin O’Malley must sign, but both are expected to happen. Due to term limits the governor is about to leave office.
The producers of the Netflix series starring Kevin Spacey (who is also a producer on the show), Media Rights Capital, set off a controversy in February when they sent a letter to O’Malley seeking $15 million for the coming third season of the show, after the first two seasons were shot in Maryland.
The show received $26 million in financial incentives during the first two seasons but the state was on the verge of reducing the amount available. The legislature is now boosting that amount again, in part by moving $2.5 million that was to go to the arts, to the film program [THR].
The executive producer for ‘House of Cards’ wrote a letter to the governor and the speaker of the House, threatening to tear down sets in Baltimore and film elsewhere. The show used the House chamber in Annapolis as a set, as well as several spaces in the Baltimore Sun building.
Production was halted until June, in order to see if the state could come up with additional funding.

The Spider-Man spin-off is official and production is moving forward as executives choose a director.
The Cabin in the Woods director Drew Goodard is near to deal to direct Sinister Six, the upcoming Spider-Man spinoff that he is also writing, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
In an effort to expand the Spider-Man universe, Sony in December also hired Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci, and Ed Solomon to work on another spinoff, titled Venom, centered on the black-costumed villain that already made his big-screen debut in the third Spider-Man movie of the Sam Raimi trilogy. Kurtzman will direct that project.
The writers will work with Spider-Man producers Avi Arad and Matt Tolmach and TheAmazing Spider-Man director Marc Webb to form what Sony is calling a “franchise brain to expand the universe for the brand and to develop a continuous tone and thread throughout the films. [THR]”
The upcoming Sinister Six will focus on the comic book villains Doctor Octopus, Electro, Sandman, Mysterio, Vulture and Kraven the Hunter.
When Goddard was tapped to write the script for Sinister Six, there was the possibility that he also could direct. Those plans seem to be falling into place. Octopus already appeared in Raimi’s Spider-Man 2, while Sandman was the villain (along with Venom) inSpider-Man 3. Electro (Jamie Foxx), the Rhino (Paul Giamatti) and the Green Goblin (Dane DeHaan) are the villains in Amazing Spider-Man 2.
