“The Nest” Starring Tina Fey and Amy Poehler posted a casting call for extras in New York City.

“The Nest” centers on two sisters who, while cleaning out their childhood home, throw a raging party for their old high school classmates. Jason Moore (“Pitch Perfect,” “Dawson’s Creek”) will direct the movie based on a script by Paula Pell (“Saturday Night Live,” “30 Rock”).

Casting directors are looking for hair stylists and actors to play hair salon workers in the movie “The Nest“.

Filming will take place on Monday, June 9th in Long Island. But travel is provided from Manhattan.

The new drama on the USA network is described as a “provocative drama that explores modern marriage at its midpoint.”  The new television series features Matt Passmore (“The Glades”) as Neil Truman and Stephanie Szostack, (“The Devil Wears Prada”) as Grace.

The USA network describes the series by answering the question, “What do you do when having it all is not enough?” by delving into their shocking and unconventional choices.

Production for the new movie ‘Final Girls’ has ramped up in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Producers are now hiring crew members and extras to appear in the feature film.

“Final Girls” centers on a young woman grieving the loss of her mother, a famous scream queen from the 1980s, finds herself pulled into the world of her mom’s most famous movie. Reunited, the women must fight off the film’s maniacal killer.

“Final Girls” stars  Malin Akerman from Watchmen, Couples Retreat, and The Proposal, Nina Dobrev from the hit TV show, The Vampire Diaries, and Alexander Ludwig from the worldwide hit movie, The Hunger Games and the live action Mark Wahlberg feature film, Lone Survivor.

On Thursday night, Jimmy Kimmel upgraded the trailer for Maleficent by replacing Angelina Jolie with 50 Cent giving what the world was waiting for, Malefiftycent. 

Despite, how ridiculous 50 Cent looks in the costume, this movie may just do pretty well. Everything is about to get magical.

Taye Diggs Follows Thousands of People on Twitter, Should You? [VIDEO]

Embarrassed Taye Diggs explains why he followed everyone on Twitter.

Back in April, Hollywood actor, Taye Diggs (The Best Man and The Best Man Holiday) began following new people on Twitter. Not just a few people, but a ton of people. He followed so many people so quickly he ramped up thousands upon thousands of people per day. He followed a volunteer fire department, a youth soccer camp, and a wine ice cream.

Today, Taye Diggs follows nearly 45,500 people. No one really knew why he followed so many people. He never really engaged with anyone on Twitter and commented on and basically used his Twitter to tell the world what he thought about.

But, in a recent interview with Matt Lauer, Taye Diggs explains why he had suddenly began following Twitter Users.

Essentially he says, that a social media expert told him to do so.

“Literally—I mean I’m embarrassed. Everyone was telling me I needed to have more of a presence on Twitter. So I met with this dude who deals in social network [sic] and he said ‘Instead of focusing on always disseminating information, why don’t you focus on using it as a ticker?’ So [I] gave him a bunch of people that I was interested in, from athletes to people in politics, just a whole bunch of people. And then he started following people for me.

Despite being embarrassed he says he loves following so many people and that he did it on purpose.

Without getting a personal assistant, the reason why people or businesses tend to follow a lot of people on Twitter is due to studies showing that a person will most likely follow you back if you follow them. Forbes provides a great way to learn which are the right people to follow:

Follow users who follow your followers. By utilizing a free and low-cost tool like Tweepi, you can scan the list of accounts that follow your own followers on Twitter. As they are likely to share similar interests, you may consider following them as well.

HBO’s ‘Game of Thrones’ Extra Tells All and It’s Amazing [Photos]

This background extra describes what it’s like to be an extra on ‘Game of Thrones’ and it sounds amazing.

The best part about being an extra is that you are so close to the action. You sit next to A-list actors, enjoy the best snacks Hollywood has to offer, and if you are lucky enough you are able to dance side by side to the world’s most beloved actors.

Redittor Taranoleion was cast as a Lannister Guard on Game of Thrones this season, and now that the show is nearly over, he shared photos from what it was like working in King’s Landing and the after parties with King Joffrey.

TBH, I didn’t know at the time how much I would appreciate having this one – I mean, I knew Oberyn would be cool, but never imagined how AWESOME he’d be in the show, as I only saw the fight scene with him. But now, in hindsight, this is the second coolest photo I managed to grab while there. (Not actually sure how the guy behind us affects the the photo’s coolness ratio.)

‘Man Vs. Food’ Host Loses 70 Pounds and Poses Nude for Cosmo

‘Man Vs. Food’ host, Adam Richman has lost a ton of weight and recently posed naked in UK’s Cosmo magazine.

Adam Richman was the food eating champion, eating chicken fried steaks for breakfast, and the hottest peppers in the world for lunch.

Now, after losing several pounds he poses naked for Cosmo Magazine.

In an interview with US Magazine he comments on what it was like to do the television series.

“If you’re a guy who’s always been the fun-to-be-around teddy bear, then all of a sudden people are viewing you as sexy, it’s nice,” he explained to British Cosmo. “It’s great not having to be the plucky best friend, or the comic relief anymore—I love that. Who wouldn’t rather hear, ‘Wow, you look great,’ than, ‘Ewww…’?”

“It was depressing,” he added of seeing himself on tape. “But it wasn’t just my appearance — airplane seats felt cramped, I was wearing an XXL jacket, and I had less energy. I went in for a checkup, and when my doctor had me stand on the scale, even he was surprised. Seeing that number (which I’ll take to the grave) was a turning point. I knew I needed to make a change.”

Adam Richman lost 70 pounds in 10 months after Man Vs. Food. He lost the weight after playing soccer. The nude cover was to raise awareness for male cancer for Cancer Research UK.

Matthew McConaughey is Interested in Doing “True Detective” Again

Matthew McConaughey is Open to doing another season of HBO’s ‘True Detective’

Matthew McConaughey‘s plan was to do a single season of HBO’s ‘True Detective‘. He agreed to doing “one season, eight episodes, a finite beginning, middle, and end, goodbye, look forward to watching it.” But now that the show is over he is interested in doing another season.

In a recent interview with Deadline, Matthew McConaughey revealed his interest in the hit TV series HBO’s ‘True Detective‘

 I liked True Detective, the whole series and the experience of making it, so much that I’d be open to doing another one now. At the time, I was looking at six months and not beyond that. I don’t know of a feature film I’d sign for where I’m going to say, “If this works, you’ve got me whenever you want me for the next three years.” (Via)

Matthew McConaughey continues on by saying there was a certain kind of appeal that HBO’s True Detective did not provide. He even contemplated the risk of moving from movies to TV as an actor, which in the past can be very damaging to an actor’s career. He pointed out that he debated with his agent about the career move but at the end of the day he said ““We can sit here and debate whether or not this is a good career move. The main thing is, if this is turning me on, and we’ve got a quality director and this dynamite script with a character for me that is highly original, then we just have to go for it.”

True Detective‘s creator Nic Pizzolatto recently commented on the second season of the HBO series. ” The characters are all new, but I am deeply in love with all of them. We have the entire season broken out, and I have a couple of scripts, and we’ll probably start casting within the coming month.”

Perhaps with this new revelation from Matthew McConaughey there is a possibility for Rusty Cohle to return.

‘The Longest Ride’ is casting real country bands for a scene in the movie from the author of “The Notebook”.

Marty Siu Casting is currently seeking a country music band and a swing band for “The Longest Ride”.

Based on the Nicholas Sparks novel, “The Longest Ride” centers on two sets of lovers in two intertwining stories. The first story is told through flashbacks of a 90-year-old veteran’s life and the love he has for his departed wife. The second story follows a student who falls in love with a similarly-wounded bull rider.

House of Card’s ‘Kevin Spacey’ Breaks Character in Middle of a Play

Kevin Spacey breaks character in middle of theater performance.

It is rude to bring a cellphone to any play or theater performance.

It is more forgivable at a concert or something, but it is hard to believe that anyone would have their phone on during a play.

But, during a recent performance in Clarence Darrow, an audience member’s phone went off and Kevin Spacey broke character and let the audience member have it.

Spacey was acting out a scene in which Darrow makes a passionate plea for his innocence – when a ringing phone interrupted him.

The music got louder and louder as the guilty party tried to look innocent.

Keeping in character, Spacey finally snapped and said: “If you don’t answer that, I will!”

The audience then gave him a round of applause.

The 54-year-old played the character at the Old Vic in Inherit the Wind in 2009, as well as in the 1991 PBS film Darrow.

Kevin Spacey is an amazing actor and is able to slip into different characters with a drop of a hat. I would not be surprised of Kevin Spacey and his friends gave that audience member the Frank Underwood/Kate Mara treatment.

Production for Tyler Perry Drama Series ‘If Loving You Is Wrong’ is ramping up as the OWN network announces the principal cast for the production.

According to Deadline, ‘If Loving You is Wrong’ was the previous ‘Single Mom’s Club’ TV series spin-off.

The first episode is set to premiere in September and will be created, written, directed and executive produced by Tyler Perry and centers on the relationships of a group of husbands and wives that live and love on the same street. While the neighbors are all from different backgrounds, their lives are really similar. But, secrets, lies and deception threaten to destroy what they have built.

‘If Loving You is Wrong‘ stars Zulay Henao, Charles Malik Whitfield, and Aiden Turner.

This will be Tyler Perry‘s second drama series for OWN under his production deal with the network. The first series, ‘The Haves And The Have Nots‘, has had recent success as the most watched series on the OWN network.

With 18.4 million viewers, ‘Game of Thrones’ is HBO’s Most Watched Series Ever

George R.R. Martin‘s mythological characters, ‘Game of Thrones‘ wins the award for the most watched series on HBO history.

HBO’s award winning series averages around 18.4 million viewers across all platforms beating the 2002 season of The Sopranos which held around 18.2 million viewers per episode.

There are two more episodes left in the season of ‘Game of Thrones‘ which has increased the number of average viewers from last season to an addition 4 million people. The season finale is on June 15th and HBO has already renewed the show for a fifth and sixth season.

Now, in comparison to one of the most watched TV series on television, AMC’s ‘The Walking Dead‘, ‘Game of Thrones‘ is not that far off.

And look at The Walking Dead. TV’s gold standard, thanks to its dominance among adults 18-49 (peripheral info to ad-free HBO), currently ranks as cable’s most watched television series. The recent season averaged 18.4 million viewers in live-plus-7, placing another record well within Game of Thrones‘ sights. [via]

‘Game of Thrones‘ is closing the gap to ‘The Walking Dead‘ and they are an additional cable service.

With two episodes left this season, ‘The Walking Dead‘ will have to worry about more than just zombies in their next season.
