You can finally watch Daniel Radcliffe’s audition tape for the leading role of Harry Potter.
Daniel Radcliffe is one of a select few actors we get to see grow up before our eyes. But, watching this video of the actor’s audition for Harry Potter when he was only 11 years old reminds you how far he has come.
You can even see him test out Harry Potter’s iconic glasses, possibly for the first time.
“That’s a dragon egg! That’s what that is!” Classic stuff.
Radcliffe has since starred on several feature films in the last year. Most recently, he filmed ‘Imperium’ based on the true story of Michael German, the FBI agent who spent years undercover in Neo-Nazi and militia groups in the United States. In the movie, the character based on Michael German tries to stop a bunch of white supremacists from doing a terrorist attack.

The latest trailer for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice premiered on Wednesday night, and the teaser showed off a pressured meeting between Clark Kent (Henry Cavill) and Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) at a party.
“What’s your position on the bat vigilante in Gotham?” the roving reporter asked the billionaire.
“Every time your hero saves a cat out of a tree, you write a puff piece editorial,” he responded in the three-minute promo that aired during “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on ABC.
“I’ve had a bad history with freaks dressed like clowns,” Wayne added.
An over-the-top Lex Luther (Jesse Eisenberg) also jumped into the discussion as he got crushed by Superman’s powerful handshake.
Superman and Batman are close to going head-to-head in a fight of epic proporitions.
Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice is directed by Zack Snyder and co-stars Holly Hunter, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane and Jeremy Irons.

With millions of subscribers from all over the world and millions of people cutting their cable cords to watch movies and TV shows on Netflix, cable companies are struggling to figure out how to compete with the streaming service. Consequently, cable companies are actually showing fewer advertisements.
Major TV networks are so scared of Netflix they are cutting the number of TV ads, according to Business Insider.
Companies like Time Warner, Fox and Viacom have stopped trying to put as many ads in your face in order to keep younger viewers, who are deciding to watch TV shows on Netflix and Hulu instead.
Time Warner’s CEO revealed his plan to cut the number of advertisements in half for primetime TV shows starting next years, on its channel “truTV.”
If this works, Time Warner will try it on other channels like TBS, TNT, and CNN, according to Bloomberg.
“We know one of the benefits of an ecosystem like Netflix is its lack of advertising,” Howard Shimmel, a chief research officer at Time Warner, told Bloomberg. “Consumers are being trained there are places they can go to avoid ads.”
Once you get used to not seeing ads, the TV shows that still have ads become more and more annoying.

However, this will use a ton of data (up to 7 GB per hour for Ultra HD).
4. Watch Netflix during the day for better streaming quality.

Instagram model reveals the truth behind FAKE social media couples.
With YouTubers and social media stars making millions of dollars a year, it is pretty easy to understand why people would fake relationships in order to gain more followers. That’s why it is not really surprising to hear that many of these social media couples are actually fake. In fact, former Instagram star, Essena O’Neill alleges that some social media couples are fake. The 19-year-old former Instagram model spoke openly about her own experience on social media.
She says she was approached by a supermodel who wanted an “online” relationship as it would increase their followers, get them free trips and make millions of dollars off of the fake relationship.
‘He referred to other couples that had been doing it he said we’d have all this free travel and that if we became a couple we’d both bump up our followers and we could make YouTube videos and get heaps of money,’ Ms O’Neill said.
‘He said in the industry it’s not unheard of to do this that it’s actually really smart and that I should think about it seriously as a business proposal – so here I am, 18, in Thailand and this A-class supermodel wants to propose a business deal and that is an online relationship.’
Ms O’Neill said it’s ‘sad’ and that a lot of people realise their followers are a business so ‘collaborate with someone else and a relationship and get more followers.’
The unidentified man proposed the idea as a “business relationship”.
This had such an impact on her that Essena O’Neill recently quit social media calling it “dishonest”

Hollywood is afraid because a popular womanizing A-list actor is HIV positive.
According to a report by The Sun newspaper of London, an A-list actor is causing Hollywood to erupt in fear. Apparently, according to The Sun, an A-list actor, who has had several sexual partners, has been diagnosed positive for HIV.
“It has now become common knowledge that this star is HIV positive, something he has known for years,” an insider told The Sun newspaper of London, which attributed his report to several unnamed sources.
“His lawyers are bracing for the threat of potential action.”
The source continued: “The reality is that if he’s knowingly put women at risk, then that’s disgusting and it’s only a matter of time before that becomes public.”
Apparently, friends are pushing for the actor to come forward, but he has so far decided to remain in hiding according to The Sun. “He’s distraught about the possibility of the illness becoming a defining quality of his career,” a source told the site.
Here is what coded message they use to describe the actor’s exes, “an award-winning actress, a religious movie star, a top Hollywood personality with a controversial past, a TV star, a media personality and a glamour model,” the site reported.
Ratings for Fox’s Empire hits a season low point as fewer people care about the Lyon dynasty.
Empire has gone a long way from being the most watched new TV series. Now, Fox is struggling to find an audience as the TV series hits a season low point. According to Variety, the Fox drama Empire, may have won the battle for Wednesday night ratings, but the Cookie drama is starting to lose the war for viewers.
“Empire” averaged a 4.2 rating/13 share in adults 18-49 and 11.1 million viewers overall, down 9% (0.4) from last week in the demo to its lowest rating since the second episode of its rookie season. It still ruled its timeslot, drawing about as many young adults as the combined tallies of the timeslot’s No. 2 (ABC) and No. 3 (NBC) rated networks. Leadoff hitter “Rosewood” (1.4/5 in 18-49, 5.2 million viewers overall) was down just a tenth and matched its low.
Ouch.
Things don’t seem to look like they are going to get better for the TV series. According to Rotten Tomatoes, Season 2 Episode 6, “A High Hope for a Low Heaven” is the worst rated TV show ever on the review website. Currently, the episode is reviewed to a D rating of 69%. The critic consesus calls the show “”A High Hope for a Low Heaven” contains many jaw-dropping plot twists, but fails to bring its kidnapping cliffhanger to a satisfying resolution. Season 2 episode 7, is already getting bad reviews with Rolling Stone saying, “To properly enjoy the episode, you have to look for subtler pleasures – well, alright, “subtler” isn’t the right word for anything on this show, but you get the point.”

Hollywood is turning Snowpiercer into a TV series.
The 2013 cult classic Korean feature film is being turned into a TV series with Josh Friedman (Sarah Connor Chronicles) attached to write the script for Tomorrow Studios, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The TV series will be based on the 2013 movie that was written and directed by Bong Joon Ho in his first English-language movie.
The movie starred Chris Evans and Tilda Swinton and focuses an a post-apocalyptic Ice Age where the only remaining people in the world survive by riding on a train that travels around the world.
The movie was released in 2014 and made $4.5 million in the United States and $86.8 million worldwide after it was released on video on demand after only two weeks.

This is just the latest of a long list of reboots, remakes, and spinoffs Hollywood has put into production over the last two years.
Jennifer Lawrence is the highest paid actress in Hollywood.
Lawrence’s new movie The Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 2 is expected to become a box office hit movie selling millions of tickets across the world. But, as JLaw pointed out in her open essay, she is still battling’ Hollywood’s pay gap for female actors.
In a new report by The Hollywood Reporter, Jennifer Lawrence went into fierce negotiations for the upcoming Passengers movie which is now filming in Atlanta, Georgia.
Passengers is about a man, played by Chris Pratt, who is among thousands of passengers on a colony ship on an interstellar journey. Awakened early from a cryogenic sleep by a system malfunction, he finally makes the decision to wake another sleeping passenger, to be played by Jennifer Lawrence, to avoid spending decades alone on the ship.
At the outset, Sony made it clear that the studio wasn’t willing to shell out the same $20 million it was paying for Lawrence to star opposite Chris Pratt in its sci-fi project Passengers, and Lawrence is said to have been willing to reduce her upfront fee to work with Linklater in the romantic dramedy.
This caused drama for her next feature film, The Rosie Project. The Rosie Project centers around “an unconventional woman who upends the world of an unlucky-in-love university professor looking to find a wife through a foolproof questionnaire.” Apparently, Sony Pictures did not want to pay Jennifer Lawrence another $20 million to star in the Richard Linklater movie The Rosie Project.
But the sources say the CAA-repped actress, fresh from a tough negotiation on Passengers, became frustrated as Rosie dealmaking dragged on and began to reevaluate her interest. “Rothman was doing a lot of grinding on The Rosie Project, and it took its toll,” says a source with knowledge of the negotiations. “If it had been done more quickly, it wouldn’t have fallen apart.”
This ended up causing problems with Sony Pictures as the director and Jennifer Lawrence both quit the movie. A source close to The Hollywood Reporter said, “The bottom line was she had too much time to think about it.”
In a quick piece of trivia, Jennifer Lawrence makes approximately 31,250,000% more per day than a background extra on Passengers.
Mardee Shackleford looks exactly like Miley Cyrus. She looks so much like Cyrus that she has to hire security guards to protect her from raging fans.
Shackleford was first compared to Miley Cyrus during her Disney CHannel days, told the Daily Mail, “Several times I have been sitting in traffic and people have slid open the back door of their car and kids will start yelling, ‘Miley!’ Sometimes it feels like I am actually famous or a celebrity, just on a really small scale. It’s been really fun for me.”
Based on her Instagram, Shackleford’s not shy about looking like Miley Cyrus, although she’s quick to note that she was doing the tongue-out modeling pose way before it was cool.
For her 20th birthday, she decided to get tickets for one of her concerts. She ended up being swamped by fans the whole night and even ran into Miley’s dad, the country singer Billy Ray Cyrus. He was so struck by Mardee that he pulled her out of the crowd and insisted on them getting a photo together. (Via)
Aspiring screenwriter pitches ‘Die Hard’ sequel movie in a full page ad.
There is reportedly going to be a sixth Die Hard movie coming soon, which will “feature flashbacks to McClane’s days as a rough and tumble New York City cop in 1979.”
The storyline behind the upcoming Die Hard sequel has not been revealed. But, this has not stopped one aspiring screenwriter from pitching his Die Hard sequel idea.
Writer Eric D. Wilkinson wrote in a full-page ad he took out in the Hollywood Reporter pitching his own version of a Die Hard movie.
Die Hard: Year One will start out with McClane going to prison. Before audiences find out what he did, the film will flash back to the 1970s, when he accidentally lets a suspect get away. We fast-forward back to present, and while McClane is still in Russia after the pointless events of A Good Day to Die Hard, “the body of that suspect is discovered along with DNA evidence pointing to… John McClane.”
After returning to the United States, McClane is arrested and convicted of murder, at which point he is sent to a super prison of major criminals.
McClane’s wife then finds evidence that proves he didn’t do it, but when she goes to the prison to show it to him, a riot breaks out and the prison goes into lockdown. Eventually, the rioters take over the prison and capture several hostages, at which point it’s revealed the riot was part of a plan to break the terrorists out of the prison and blow up New York City. “However, the one thing [the] terrorists didn’t count on was the one man who is always in the wrong place at the wrong time…and when it comes to John McClane, old habits die hard.”

Wilkinson included a phone number and e-mail address where he can be reached.
A panhandler outside Grand Central Terminal says he rakes in up to $200 an hour from kind-hearted New Yorkers.
And the 43-year-old former theater stagehand is only one of a legion of beggars in the city hauling in big bucks and a smorgasbord of food doing nothing but sitting on the sidewalk with hands out.

Apparently, this is all legal. The NYPost talked to Police Commissioner Bill Bratton and he responded by saying to stop giving people money. “I have gotten $80 or $100 from a single person. And they will say, ‘Just do something good tonight.’ They mean go to a hotel or a hostel,’’ he said. “I get people who give me five bucks each day. Five bucks each day, that’s five days a week, two people — that’s $50 a week right there. I get dog food. I put away for rent. I pay $300 a month, that’s nothing.”
William Shatner is trying to make a ‘Star Trek’ musical.
Following reports of a Star Trek TV series and an upcoming Star Trek movie coming soon, William Shatner is trying to take the Star Trek series to the next level.
Shatner told The Guardian, that he wants to create a Star Trek musical and it’s not a question of why but a question of when.
I’ve been actively trying to do a 50th anniversary show … We had a big company say: ‘What about a musical or a music variety show?’ That got some traction – but nothing’s come of it yet.
CBS recently announced that they are planning on creating a new Star Trek series. According to the report, the new Star Trek series will center around “new characters seeking imaginative new worlds and new civilizations, while exploring the dramatic contemporary themes that have been a signature of the franchise since its inception,” CBS said in a news release.
Johnny Depp was nearly fired from Pirates of the Caribbean for appearing “drunk” or “gay” while acting out scenes as Captain Jack.
After four feature films and an upcoming fifth production in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, there is no denying that Johnny Depp is the driving creative force behind the hit Disney series and without him Pirates of the Caribbean would have probably flopped in the box office.
But in a recent interview, it was revealed Disney was not that sure that Johnny Depp was the right actor the job.
During the AFI Fest 2015, Johnny Depp recalled that Disney executives were initially confused by Depp’s portrayal of Sparrow, which was partially based off the 18th century pirates and modern day rock stars and questioned if Johnny Depp should be allowed to remain as the star in the movie, or be fired.
Johnny Depp recalled the story:
“They wanted to fire me. I remember it trickled back to me that [former Diseny CEO] Michael Eisner went on some sort of vent about how, “Goddamnit, Johnny Depp’s ruining the film. What is it? What is that thing? Is it drunk? Is it gay?” So I fully expected to be fired.”
But it was how Johnny Depp responded that really shows why Johnny Depp is an A-list actor. Depp responded by saying, “Well, didn’t you know that all my characters are gay?”
It was after that comment that Johnny Depp admitted he “was really expecting to be fired,” but surprisingly he wasn’t.
After the actor told Disney to trust his acting decision and method for the character of Jack Sparrow, Disney did the right thing and left Johnny Depp to do his own thing and act however he saw fit and it worked.
Johnny Depp’s portrayal of Captain Jack Sparrow not only landed him a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Actor in 2004, but he has also earned $3.7 billion for Disney.
Production for the fifth film in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales. Johnny Depp will reprise his iconic role, as will Geoffrey Rush, and Orlando Bloom.
According to reports, the movie is currently in early stages of editing and post production.
