‘Call of Duty’ The Movie is Now In Development

Call of Duty the movie is now in development with Activision Blizzard.

This Friday marked the release of the latest Call of Duty video game Call of Duty Black Ops 3. After selling millions upon millions of copies in the last decade, producers are interested in expanding the franchise by creating a Call of Duty movie.

According to a recent report by the Hollywood Reporter, Activision Blizzard, the owners behind Call of Duty are currently planning and developing a Call of Duty movie.

From THR:

Very high on the to-do list is adapting Call of Duty, one of the biggest video games of all time and one that the company is hoping turn into a cinematic universe. Activision said Friday that the first Call of Duty movie could be released in 2018 or 2019.

Beyond that company execs were mum on their plans, but it’s easy to see how a universe could be created. When the first-person shooter games were initially released, they were set in World War II. Later, they were updated to be set in modern times. The more recent games, released in this decade, have been set in the near future.

Reports suggest that the first Call of Duty movie will hit theaters in 3 to 4 years from now. But, details surrounding the production have not been released.

This is a pretty smart idea. Call of Duty franchise has sold over 175 million copies and has millions of dedicated fans who will throw their parent’s hard earned money at anything Call of Duty related.

In addition to creating Call of Duty movies, Activision Blizzard is also planning on expanding their portfolio by creating other content including an animated series called Skylanders featuring Justin Long and Ashley Tisdale. In addition to other featured content.

I would bet that producers are also considering creating a Call of Duty zombies series due to the popularity and money surrounding the Walking Dead franchise.

‘The Walking Dead’ Season 6 Spoilers: Episode 5 – [Spoiler] is Pregnant with [Spoiler’s] Baby

The Walking Dead season 6 is in full swing and a major spoiler for season 6 episode, “Now” has just hit the Internet.

In the upcoming Walking Dead season 6 episode, “Now” synopsis, there is trouble “inside and outside the gate.” This seems like a direct hint at the horde making its way towards Alexandria. But, it looks like there could be more than just Walkers.

We already know that Morgan is holding one of the Wolves in a cell, but it’s unclear if any more of them are hiding out. Or, if there is a traitor in the group.

But, in a weekly Q&A with the The Spoiling Dead Fans and their unnamed source, it appears as though a cast member is pregnant and a new baby is on the way to The Walking Dead.

‘Gifted’ Starring Chris Evans is Looking for New Cars in Savannah, Georgia

Gifted starring Chris Evans is now casting extras with cars in Savannah, Georgia.

Chris Evans new movie, Gifted, is looking for 15 background extras with cars to work on a scene filming this Sunday in Savannah, Georgia. Talents that are selected will be compensated $112.00 for up to 12 hours plus a $25 pay bump for using your car.

Gifted centers around a man who sues for custody of his gifted niece. Gifted is directed by Marc Webb, the director behind The Amazing Spider-Man 2. According to the Savannah Film Commision Chris Evans’ new movie ‘Gifted’ will start filming in Savannah, Georgia this fall. In addition, producers are now hiring crew and vendors to work on the upcoming feature film.

HBO TV Pilot ‘Max’ Directed By Lena Dunham Open Casting Call

Lena Dunham’s 1960 comedy starring Lisa Joyce is now casting extras in Los Angeles, California.

Central Casting Los Angeles is looking for background actors to work on the new HBO TV pilot from the creator of Girls, Lena Dunham.

The new HBO TV Pilot, Max, is a single camera series that centers around the struggles of women in the second wave feminism focusing particularly on Maxine Woodroof, an ambitious writer played by Lisa Joyce.

According to Deadline, “Maxine is an enthusiastic, if misguided, low-level magazine employee who stumbles into the forefront of a civil rights movement both she and the world may not be ready for.”

This will be Lena Dunham’s first production since Girls, which she wrote, directed and starred in at the age of 25. She would later earn several Emmy nominations in all three categories.

Bill O’Reilly’s ‘Legends & Lies: Patriots’ Season 2 open casting call for new talent in Richmond, Virginia.

O’Reilly is executive producer on the TV series, produced by Warm Spring Productions, the makers of History’s Mountain Men, Animal Planet’s American River Renegades and HGTV’s Log Cabin Living.

He also has appeared onscreen in each episode, providing analysis and commentary with historians and other experts and descendants of the subjects.

The past season, Legends & Lies: The Real West, is averaging 1.2 million viewers and 208,000 in the news demo.

Since launching in April, the series has grown 14% in total viewers and 103% in the demo.

According to Deadline, the next installment, Legends & Lies: Patriots will profile figures who shaped the country’s early days. FNC has ordered 12 weeks of Patriots.

‘The Originals’ season 3 casting call for extras to work on a bar scene filming in Atlanta, Georgia.

Tammy Smith Casting, the official extras casting director behind The Originals, is looking for men and women between the ages of 21 to 45 to work on  a scene filming next Wednesday, November 11th in Atlanta, Georgia.

Casting directors are looking for extras to work on a high end bar scene on the upcoming episode. Producers are looking for new talent that have not worked on the TV series yet. All actors that are selected will be compensated $80/8 with over time after that.

This is a very small, private bar scene with several of the lead characters from The Originals. 

The Originals is a spin-off from The Vampire Diaries and set in New Orleans, The Originals centers on the Mikaelson siblings, otherwise known as the world’s original vampires: Klaus (Joseph Morgan), Elijah (Daniel Gillies), and Rebekah (Claire Holt). Now Klaus must take down his protégé, Marcel (Charles Michael Davis), who is now in charge of New Orleans, in order to re-take his city, as he originally built New Orleans.

Justin Bieber: Being Famous is Destroying Me

Justin Bieber says being famous is destroying him.

The 21-year-old singer revealed that he is struggling with being fame in a new cover story with Billboard magazine, admitting that his life is not what it actually appears to be.

“It might seem awesome from the outside,” he told reporters, “but I’m struggling.”

Bieber admitted “Certain things broke my trust with people…I felt like people were judging me all the time.”

“I came out alive. I came out swinging. But I was close to letting [fame] completely destroy me,” the singer revealed.

He also touched on the nude photos of himself and his father’s comments about them. Saying that he feels like the photos were an invasion of his privacy. “I felt super violated.” And his dad was trying to cheer him up, “Dads are going to be dads.”

The former child star even touched on his relationship with Kylie Jenner. “Look at her world. She has been living on TV since she was a kid. Everytime she’s looking around she sees a camera, and that’s affecting how she’s thinking and how she’s perceiving people and why she has to do certain things.  Situations that happen taint your mind, especially in this industry. Especially for girls.”

It’s hard to deny Justin Bieber’s last few years. He was arrested in Miami last year under suspicion of driving under the influence, and resisting arrest. Police later revealed that he had consumed alcohol, smoked marijuana and had taken prescription drugs. He has also been serving a sentence of community service related to an egging incident in July of last year.

After the DUI incident, over 250,000 people petitioned the White House to have the singer deported back to Canada.

Since then, he has claimed to reformed himself through his faith and friendships with celebrities like the Kardashians family.

Most recently, Justin Bieber was under fire for telling his fans that they failed to clap on beat. Then, the singer was preparing to start performing for a Norwegian TV show last week when a fan in the front row spilled something on the stage. Bieber tried cleaning it up. But, the crowd blocked him from doing so. Bieber would later quit the show and never return.

He also walked off a Spanish radio show, he later blamed his response on having a “rough week”.

J.J. Abrams Sends Private Screening of ‘The Force Awakens’ to Terminally Ill Fan

J.J. Abrams sends terminally ill fan a private screening of Star Wars: The Force Awakens’

When the news broke that a terminally ill Star Wars fan named Daniel Fleetwood wouldn’t live long enough to see the film’s official release in theaters. His story went viral garnering the attention and the leader of Star Wars himself, JJ Abrams.

Luckily, the #ForceForDaniel movement was so strong that it reached J.J. Abrams who, much like he did with Star Trek Into Darkness, arranged for a private screening of the movie for Daniel.

According to The Verge, Fleetwood’s girlfriend posted a note on Facebook that confirmed the news, saying that Abrams called them and informed them that the movie was on its way.

Mark Hamill also showed his appreciation on Twitter. It is important to note that this would not have gotten as much attention if Hamilll would not have been an active supporter of showing the movie to Daniel.

America’s Largest Police Union Warns Quentin Tarantino

The largest police union in the United States reveals they have a “surprise” for Quentin Tarantino in a statement that sounds more like a threat than a warning.

Jim Pasco, executive director of the Fraternal Order of Police recently spoke with The Hollywood Reporter, about what they have planned for the Pulp Fiction director saying, “We’ll be opportunistic.”Pasco added, “Tarantino has made a good living out of violence and surprise,” says Pasco. “Our offices make a living trying to stop violence, but surprise is not out of the question.”

The Fraternal Order of Police has over 330,000 sworn officers and reportedly, the group has something “in the works”.

“Something is in the works, but the element of surprise is the most important element,” says Pasco. “Something could happen anytime between now and [the premiere]. And a lot of it is going to be driven by Tarantino, who is nothing if not predictable.

Quentin Tarantino released a statement as well addressing the controversy for the first time, telling the Los Angeles Times that he would not be intimidated by police boycotts.

“Instead of dealing with the incidents of police brutality that those people were bringing up, instead of examining the problem of police brutality in this country, better they single me out,” Tarantino said to The Hollywood Reporter.

“And their message is very clear. It’s to shut me down. It’s to discredit me. It is to intimidate me. It is to shut my mouth, and even more important than that, it is to send a message out to any other prominent person that might feel the need to join that side of the argument.”

This news comes as Quentin Tarantino released a new trailer for the upcoming feature film The Hateful Eight. And in less than 24 hours, the trailer has nearly a million views.

The Vampire Diaries is looking for extras to work on a scene filming on November 6th in Decatur, Georgia. Producers are looking for actors, models, and talent to play upscale restaurant patrons, waitresses and other featured roles.

Casting directors are looking for extras between the ages of 18 to 40 to work on the scene.

Season 7 of The Vampire Diaries centers around the departure Elena. Season seven begins with some characters will recover while others can’t move on. As Lily tries to drive a wedge between the Salvatore brothers, we’ll see if Stefan and Caroline’s love story is strong enough to survive.

Amy Winehouse the movie is coming soon.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Noomi Rapace is currently in talks to play the soulful singer in a movie called Amy Winehouse which will be written and directed by Kristen Sheriden.

Casting directors are currently casting Amy Winehouse’s father, Mitch Winehouse, who had a major role in her life and in the movie as he is the guy who handled her personal estate and music rights.

Amy Winehouse was a hit singer when she released her first album Frank, but her follow up album in 2006, made her an international star. However, behind the scenes the actress struggled with drug and alcohol use as well as an abusive relationship with her husband Blake Fielder-Civil.

Amy Winehouse’s album, Back to Black gave her five Grammy nominations and three grammy wins including awards for best new artists, record of the year and song of the year for the hit song “Rehab.”

Amy Winehouse would later die from alcohol poisoning in July 2011 at the age of 27. Following her death, the album Back to Black became a billboard hit movie with over 20 million copies sold to date.

Noomi Rapace is the actress who starred in the box office flop, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. Since then she starred in several other box office disasters such as Prometheus and Child 44. However, she is expected to star alongside Christian Bale in an upcoming biopic of Enzo Ferrari.

Hopefully, Amy Winehouse documentary will do better than the recent Steve Jobs movie, which bombed in the box office several weeks ago. Especially with an actress who has never had a hit movie in her entire acting career.

‘Guardians of the Galaxy 2’ Make Up Tests Casting Call in Atlanta

Guardians of the Galaxy 2 casting call for models to work on a make-up tests in Atlanta, Georgia.

Tammy Smith Casting, the extras casting director behind Guardians of the Galaxy 2, is now looking for attractive women with good and clear skin to audition for a background extra role in Atlanta, Georgia.

Marvel casting directors are looking for women between the ages of 20 to 40. Filming will take place on Saturday, November 7th and Sunday, November, 8th. This is for make-up tests for prosthetics and face painting.

Talents that are selected will be compensated “$68 for 8 hrs with O.T. after that. plus $35 – 50 add’l”.

The first Guardians of the Galaxy featured Chris Pratt, Bradley Cooper, Zoe Saldana and Vin Diesel. It would later become a box office hit making nearly $775 million dollars worldwide. The release of Guardians of the Galaxy 2 is scheduled to hit theaters on May 5, 2017. Details surrounding the new Guardians of the Galaxy movie have not been revealed.

Typically, scam artists try to use a person’s hopes and dreams in order to trick them leaving an aspiring actor open to being a victim of identity theft or even worse sexual assault.

In an a recent video with Arvold Casting, casting director Erica Arvold shared quick tips on how to prevent getting scammed in the entertainment industry.

In the video she highlights doing your research, asking friends, and basically judging the project before ever signing on the dotted line.

Fox’s Empire season 2 is now casting a new speaking role for an upcoming episode filming in Chicago, Illinois.

Simon Casting, the official casting director behind Fox’s Empire, is now looking for 12 year old rappers that have a real street feel to audition for a role on the hit TV show. Casting directors are looking an African American kid rapper to play someone that is supposed to be from the Brownsville projects.

‘Empire’ centers around a hip hop music and entertainment company, Empire Entertainment, and the drama among the members of the founders’ family as they fight for control of the company. The hour-long family drama was created by Lee Daniels and Danny Strong, and stars Terrence Howardand Taraji P. Henson.
