Godfather of Harlem starring Forest Whitaker is now casting models in New York City
Casting directors are now casting actors, models, and talent to work on scenes filming on October 4th in New York City.
Producers are seeking the following types:
- GWCI is seeking hot African American female models 5’8 and taller for work on 10.4 in lounge scene for series Godfather of Harlem. must be available full day on Thursday and for few hours tomorrow 10.3 for fitting.
About Godfather of Harlem:
Forest Whitaker will star in the EPIX series Godfather of Harlem. According to Variety, “The series is titled “Godfather of Harlem.” It will tell the true story of crime boss Bumpy Johnson (Whitaker), who in the early 1960s returned after 10 years in prison to find the neighborhood he once ruled in shambles. With the streets controlled by the Italian mob, Bumpy takes on the Genovese crime family to regain control. During the brutal battle, he forms an alliance with radical preacher Malcolm X, catching his political rise in the crosshairs of social upheaval and a mob war that threatens to tear the city apart.”

-must have 1960s appropriate hair (MEN- +2 inches all around or willing to get period cut by hair department. NO shaved sides, edging, buzzcuts, fades, highlights, etc. // WOMEN- shoulder length or shorter or willing to get period cut by hair department. NO braids, dreads, ombre/highlights, etc. )
