Apple TV‘s Ghostwriter season 2 is now casting speaking roles.

Casting directors are now casting actors, models, and talent to work on scenes filming in Toronto, Ontario this January 2021.

Producers are seeking the following types:

• SAMIR YOUSEF: Male. Character portrayed as Syrian Descent. 12 years old. LEAD
  • [SAMIR YOUSEF] Male. Character portrayed as Syrian descent. 12 years old. High EQ and remarkably responsible for his age, smart, thoughtful, nurturing, compassionate, Samir lives with his two younger siblings and his hard-working parents. Because of his family’s journey to America, Samir had to grow up fast. He is always working hard, helping out his family, and taking care of his younger siblings. Because of that, he never really was able to be a kid or enjoy time with new friends. But when three characters from The Wizard of Oz–Tin Girl, Scarecrow and Lion–suddenly are released into our world, Samir, along with Nia & Harper, the only other two who can see these book characters, is thrust into a new adventure. While Samir is excited to finally be having some fun, he also remains cautious and responsible, making sure his younger brother is taken care of no matter what. But, with his new friends help, Samir has some fun as they figure out the clues to help get these book characters get back into their story. LEAD

About Apple TV’s Ghostwriter (Magnesium):

According to reports, Apple TV’s Ghostwriter, is filming under the working-title Magnesium. The show centers around a ghost who haunts a neighborhood bookstore and starts releasing fictional characters into the real world. Four kids work together to solve an exciting mystery surrounding the ghost’s unfinished business. The show stars Isaac Arellanes, Amadi Chapata, and Hannah Levinson.
