Channing Tatum recently admitted that he partied too hard with Shia LeBeouf and it may have ended their friendship.

It all started while the two were filming the 2006 movie, “A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints“. Shia LaBeouf who played the lead in the movie, told GQ in 2008 that Channing Tatum ordered him to break into a Barnes and Nobles and steal a Spider-man bookmark. And when LeBeouf didn’t do it, Tatum did.

But, in a recent article in GQ, Tatum claims that LeBeouf is a liar. But, all of it centered on becoming a better “method actor”.

“Yeah, but none of it was true. We were drinking. And I think our initial thing was ‘Alright, let’s go out and try and get in a fight!’ This was just young dumb idiot actors thinking that that’s going to bond us. Because we’ll shed blood together blah blah blah. Just stupid actors thinking that they have to try and be method.”

He later says that even though method acting is not wrong, you should not start fights with people.

“I’m not saying anything about method actors, but to go and try to fight somebody to become the character? I think that’s a little immature, in hindsight. But it felt real and sort of visceral at the time.

 

Channing Tatum said he didn’t bash any windows at the Barnes and Nobles, he did say he did bash another window.

“We were just running and being hoodlums and throwing trash bags down streets and just being stupid. We were trying to be like eighties hoodlums. And I think as we were running I kicked this thing, not thinking that it would ever shatter. And everything just went raining down. And I was like ‘oh shit.’ And then we just took off running.”

The night hit a tipping point when LeBeouf punched a cop car.

“We all just ran in opposite directions. I didn’t hide under a car, I dove in some trash bags,” Tatum said. “In hindsight it’s the funniest thing in the world — just typical actors trying too hard. It’s only fun because we didn’t get caught … that I can have perspective on it now and know it was stupid. I don’t think we were thinking.”

Channing Tatum has since moved on from this stint of vigilantism while Shia LeBeouf has been in the media for plagiarism and coining the phrase, “I am not famous anymore.”

“The kid’s an incredible actor,” Tatum said. “I just wish that he would just act. Just act, man!”

Tatum stars in “22 Jump Street” in June, followed by “Jupiter Ascending” in July.

Emma Watson’s friend at graduation was really an undercover security guard.

In case you missed the Emma Watson‘s selfie, she graduated from Brown University this weekend.

At the ceremony, she sat with a “friend” who was also seen leaving as part of her entourage on Sunday.

But, after Emma’s “friend” took off her cap and gown, it was easy to see that she was an undercover agent dressing up as a graduating student.

See the image below and you will see the gun, radio, and mace.

But, don’t get it confused. It is not like Watson had to pay for friends in college. According to a statement by a rep from Brown University, “Emma has enjoyed her time at Brown tremendously and made many friends there who she keeps in constant contact with.”

“Many of the students at Brown, especially Emma’s friends, were very protective of her. They tried to help her avoid the cameras that would occasionally follow her on campus,” a source told Hollywood Life.

The British actress, who played Hermoine Granger in the Harry Potter films, graduated from Brown University and according to the Associated Press, she received a bachelor’s degree in English literature.

Watson who recently turned 24, posted on Twitter showing off her new cap and gown for graduation.

Emma Watson started studying at Brown University in 2009. She also spent time at England’s Oxford University while also working on several movies.

In an interview with US weekly she said, she was never asked for an autograph on campus and that she “threw a party for nearly 100 students and not a single person put a photo on Facebook.”

Macaulay Culkin’s the Pizza Underground Booed Off Stage, Pelted With Beer

Some people are just not into Macaulay Culkin‘s band the “Pizza Underground.” During their set at the Dot to Dot Festival in Nottingham, the band got pelted with beer and booed off the stage.

The band only performed a remix of Lou Reed’s “Perfect Day” titled, “Pizza Day“. But, before walking off stage Macaulay Culkin said, “why are you throwing those, I’d rather drink them.”

When the audience didn’t stop, he stopped the show, saying “That’s the end of the show, goodnight.”

The Pizza Underground were recently announced as part of the Riot Fest lineup. Here’s footage from their Saturday performance at Dot to Dot in Bristol. People booed them in the past, but at least they were not soaked with beer.

Seth Rogen was recently accused by Ann Hornaday of the Washington Post for promoting Elliot Rodger’s mass killing in Isla Vista.

Ann Hornaday published an op-ed yesterday that implied that one of the principal reasons for Elliot Rodger‘s mass killing in Isla Vista was the white men of Hollywood’s fanatasies that “often revolve around vigilantism and sexual wish-fulfillment.” Hornaday specifically cited Judd Apatow and Seth Rogen’s recently released “Neighbors” as an example:

“How many students watch outsized frat-boy fantasies like “Neighbors” and feel, as Rodger did, unjustly shut out of college life that should be full of “sex and fun and pleasure”? How many men, raised on a steady diet of Judd Apatow comedies in which the shlubby arrested adolescent always gets the girl, find that those happy endings constantly elude them and conclude, “It’s not fair”?

Hornaday argued the level of violence and sexual conquest creates a bad example for people:

If our cinematic grammar is one of violence, sexual conquest and macho swagger — thanks to male studio executives who green-light projects according to their own pathetic predilections — no one should be surprised when those impulses take luridly literal form in the culture at large.

Seth Rogen was not too happy about the article and recently responded to Hornaday.

Two members of popular Japanese pop group AKB48 were injured after a fan attacked them with a saw.

Rina Kawaei, and Anna Iriyama, 18, were meeting with fans in the northern city of Takizawa on Sunday when a man lunged forward and slashed them with a saw.

They received cysts on their hands and heads according to recent reports. A male staff member was also cut on his hand. The police later arrested the 24-year-old man, identified as Satoru Umeta.

A Tokyo concert scheduled for Monday night was later cancelled due to the recent attack.

AKB48, which was founded in 2005, is hugely popular in Japan and other Asian countries.

The group currently holds the Guinness Book of World Records for being the world’s largest pop group.

AKB stands for Akihabara, the technology district of Tokyo, where the group has its own theatre. Members perform there almost every day.

The number 48 reportedly refers to the original number of members in the group, although it has since expanded.

The current line-up on the group’s website, spread over four main teams and other smaller ones, lists 140 names.

Every year tens of thousands of fans vote on who gets to join the group from a pool of more than 200 candidates, in an event that is widely covered by national media.

After the recent incident it is very understandable that Miley Cyrus would file a restraining order against a crazed fan.

‘Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark’ Movie will bring back your childhood nightmares to the big screen.

Many kids growing up in the 1980’s and 1990’s can remember the frightening stores, “Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark,” and according to recent reports, the book is being made into a movie.

Deadline.com has recently reported that CBS Films has accepted the plans from “Saw” writers Patrick Melton and Marcus Dunstan to transform the short stories into a movie that centers on a group of outcast kids who work to save the town when their nightmares come true.

So get prepared for your favorite stories such as “The Dead Man’s Hand,” “The Hook,” and “The Big Toe”  to return after all these years.

What made the book so scary was in part due to the illustrator Stephen Gammell, so hopefully the movie will incorporate the haunting visions of the illustrator.

The author, Alvin Schwartz wrote three “Scary Storie” editions,e ash released between 1981 and 1991. The stories were backed on urban legends, and folklore.

There is no word yet on who will star in the movies, nor who will direct the feature film.
