Weekday Shoots Only. Background Actor Needs Will Be Updated Frequently!

We are casting paid extras 18 yrs & over for “Looking”, an HBO dramedy revolving around the lives of 3 gay friends in San Francisco, starring Jonathan Groff, shooting weekdays 9/16–11/8 mostly in SF. Background needs will be updated here, and there will be a constant need for 20s-30s Hipsters/Mission Neighborhood types & LGBT Community, so if date below has passed we are still seeking submissions! CURRENTLY SEEKING THE FOLLOWING TYPES:

* NEW – shoots in Alameda Fri 9/27 * Real Military Men or fit Men 20s – 30s willing to get paid High & Tight military style haircut 5’10”–6’0”, 36″–44″ Suit Jacket size with 30-36″ Waist to fit period Sailor costumes to work as Waiters/Bartenders in video game launch party scenes on docked boat in Alameda. Men will be picture picked by Director. You MUST be avail all day Fri 9/27 with your own reliable transportation to Alameda for expected 12 hour shoot and able to attend costume Fitting/Haircut (approx 1-2 hrs, time TBD) in SF 9/24 or 9/25. SAG members get scale background rate & $37 for fitting. The Non Union rate is $64.00 for 8hrs plus overtime at time and ½ thereafter based on CA State Min Wage of $8.00/hr, plus $16 for fitting. * Gay/Gay friendly Men & Gay and Lesbian Couples 21 yrs – 30s Wed 9/18 for fun Castro bar scene with music & dancing, no wallflowers! Must be willing to dance with same sex partners, be at least 21yrs old and avail Wed 9/18 morning to evening.

Reference: Castro Bar 9/18 or if real couple Castro Bar Couple 9/18 in subject line. Please check with partner before submitting him/her, include their name & contact info and recent photo of you together if possible. Constant need for LBGT Men & Women 18 and over, but targeting 21yrs – 30s for future gay bar scenes, note advance weekday availability.

* Hipsters 18 years – 30s for future Mission neighborhood or Bar scenes. Must be able to pull off Hipster vibe with your own clothes & styling.

No minors and must be at least 21yrs old for bar scenes. Reference role type: Hipster in subject line of your submission and include weekday availability.

Hours/Rates/Employment: Shoots last up to 10-12hrs on average.

Start times are unknown until the night before, so you must be avail all day, early morning. i.e. 6AM to night without conflict. SAG/AFTRA members get Union scale.

For shoots in San Francisco, Non Union Extras are paid $84.40 for 8hrs plus overtime at time and ½ based on SF min wage $10.55/hr. Outside of SF, CA State min wage $8.00/hr applies.

U.S. Citizens must have a current U.S. Passport OR both a valid Drivers License with Social Security Card or Birth Certificate.

Non Citizens must have Green Card, Permanent Resident Card or Work Authorization from Dept. of Homeland Security.

This ID must be presented on set for I-9 paperwork or you cannot be employed and you will be turned away.

Breaking Bad‘s Saul Goodman will live on at AMC Networks.

After lengthy negotiations, the cable network and Breaking Bad producer Sony Pictures TV have reached a licensing agreement for a spinoff from Vince Gilligan‘s acclaimed drama series.

The spinoff series, tentatively titled Better Call Saul, had been in the works for months. It centers on one of Breaking Bad‘s most supporting characters, Bob Odenkirk‘s  criminal lawyer Saul Goodman.

Created by Breaking Bad creator Gilligan and series writer-producer Peter Gould, who created the Saul character together for a Season 2 episode written by Gould, the spinoff will be a one-hour prequel that will focus on the evolution of the Goodman character before he ever became Walter White’s lawyer, AMC said.
