‘The Originals’ Crossover Episode with ‘Vampire Diaries’ will Change Everything

Upcoming Crossover episode between ‘The Vampire Diaries’ and ‘The Originals’ is expected to give more answers and “Shake Things Up!”.

Executive Producer, Julie Plec,pointed out that the worlds between The Vampire Diaries  and The Originals  is interconnected, so expect to see expect to see another familiar face make the journey from Mystic Falls into the French Quarter.

Michael Trevino, who plays the werewolf Tyler, was last heard of breaking up with Caroline (Candice Accola) on The Vampire Diaries, pointing out that he plans to make Klaus’ life (Joseph Morgan) hell.

When Tyler enters The Originals, his appearance will trigger a storyline were fellow werewolf Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin), is pregnant with Klaus’ baby.

 

 

“The crossover is happening very soon,” Plec told a handful of reporters Monday afternoon following a screening, adding that she was “fairly certain” viewers will see him before November is over. “It will answer a couple of questions, one of which is answering the first piece of the mystery of the protective wolf.”

“It also will introduce a lot more questions. A lot of things will come out of the crossover that are going to shake things up among the core group dynamic of the Original family and there will be a whole storyline that will come out of where that crossover leads them geographically and where it leads them when they’re there. There’s a lot of stuff that’s about to be introduced.” Michael Narducci – Co-executive Producer

Julie Plec explained that, the Tyler crossover will show Hayley’s continued mission to discover where she is from.

“One of the big things that Hayley has been asking herself quietly, and the whole thing that brought her to New Orleans in the first place, was trying to get answers about what bloodline she came from, what the mystery of this mark on her shoulder means,” Plec said. “The one thing that Tyler does offer in his presence as he sets foot in this world is answers and more information. He takes her to a place out in the bayou where she’s going to start to understand a little bit of where she comes from.”

The Originals airs on The CW Network at 8 p.m. on Tuesdays.

Jennifer Love Hewitt is Out of a Job – Lifetime Cancels ‘The Client List’

The Jennifer Love Hewitt drama finished its second season in June.

The Client List, produced by Sony Pictures TV, followed Riley Parks (Hewitt) as she balanced being a single mother and working as a massage therapist.

The move to cancel the drama came after several negoitations with the star and executive producer Jennifer Love Hewitt.

The actress had been in talks with producers about the creative direction of the series.

Currently, Hewitt is engaged to co-star Brian Hallisay and wanted their real-life relationship and pregnancy written into the show. Hallisay started as a recurring character and was promoted to a series regular at the start of season two.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Hewitt’s vision did not work well with what the producers imagined.

Reports of The Client List’s cancellation comes after the cable network recently cut their longest running original scripted series, Army Wives, after seven seasons.

The Lifetime network recently picked up Drop Dead Diva for a sixth season after canceling the drama after its fourth season. Devious Maids will return for a second season, and Lifetime will most likely renew their new series Witches of East End. 

‘Agents of SHIELD’ to Plot Crossover ‘Thor 2’ Feature Film

A special November 19 episode of the ABC series will “pick up the pieces” from the ending of Thor 2.

Two weeks after the God of Thunder makes its big screen debut in Thor: The Dark World, the movie’s plot will be referenced in an episode of ABC’s Agents of SHIELD. 

In what could be an amazing move of business and marketing, Marvel revealed on Friday that the storyline of the ABC series Agents of SHIELD will cross with the ending of Thor sequel on a November 19 episode.

“In the aftermath of the events chronicled in the feature film Marvel’s Thor: The Dark World, Coulson and the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. pick up the pieces — one of which threatens to destroy a member of the team,”

The episode will be directed by Jonathan Frakes, a former Star Trek actor and director of NCIS: Los Angeles and Burn Notice episodes.

TV Ratings: NBC’s ‘Dracula’ Takes a Slip, ‘ANTM’ Holds, and CBS ‘Undercover Boss’ Slight Drop

Several series saw a drop in the number of viewers.

ABC took Friday nights key demographic with the series Last Man Standing. The comedy has increased ratings by a tenth of a point to a 1.4 rating among adults 18 to 49 which helped with the following show The Neighbors. Shark Tank decreased their viewers by a tenth of a point from last week, while ABC’s 20/20 finished the night holding the 10 p.m. hour with the most amount of viewers. Overall, ABC averaged about a 1.5 rating with adults 18 to 49 and garnering well over 6.7 million viewers.

Undercover Boss saw a slight drop in their ratings on CBS, while shows like Hawaii Five-O and Blue Bloods remained essentially even. CBS was able to hold a 1.3 adults rating and 9.7 million viewers.

Instead of Date, NBC News had a ‘Vampire’ special which did not due to well with ratings. Furthermore, the series Dracula has lost several points since its series premiere. NBC averaged approximately 1.2 adults rating and 3.7 million viewers for the night.

Fox aired MasterChef Junior which was down from last week, leading Fox with a 0.9 adults rating and 2.8 million viewers.

America’s Next Top Model was steady helping The CW achieve a 0.4 rating with adults and 966,000 viewers for the night.

“Chained and Tied Like a Fish” – ‘Dr. Phil’ Will Interview Recent Cleveland Kidnapping Victim

Michelle Knight will discuss the “horrible conditions” she and two other women faced while imprisoned by Ariel Castro for ten years.

One of three women who escaped from a Cleaveland home after more than a decade will share her story.

Michelle Knight will appear on the Dr. Phil show Tuesday and Wednesday in a taped interview. The show says Michelle Knight  details the horrendous conditions she experienced in the house. Dr. Phil will discuss with her the emotional, physical, and sexual abuse that include being tied up like a fish and spending three weeks chained and tortured in the basement, according to the show.

Michelle Knight, Amanda Berry and Gina DeJesus escaped earlier this year when Amanda Berry pushed out a door and yelled for help. Their kidnapper, Ariel Castro, pleaded guilty and was sentenced to life in prison. He later hanged himself on September 3 only a few weeks into his sentence.

On Dr. Phil, Knight will discuss how she was able to survive the horrific experience for ten years. She was only 20 years old when she was kidnapped in 2002.

Phil McGraw recently commented on the upcoming episode:

“Out of respect for Ms. Berry and Ms. DeJesus, she chose to speak about their shared experiences only from her own point of view,”

“When you listen to her describe the horrible living conditions and how she was treated, you wonder how anyone lasted a day let alone more than a decade. In the 12 years of doing the Dr. Phil show, no one has changed me like Michelle Knight and her story of survival.”

Michelle Knight was the only victim to appear at Castro’s sentencing. Knight told Castro, “You took 11 years of my life away, but I’ve got my life back! I spent 11 years in hell. Now your hell is just beginning.”

‘Captive’ Feature Film Extras Casting Call for Cars and Restaurant Patrons in Wilmington, North Carolina

David Oyelowo (Jack Reacher) and Kate Mara (House of Cards) are set to star in the thriller, Captive, for director Jerry Jameson (Walker, Texas Ranger).

Written by Brian Bird and Reinhard Denke, and based on Ashley Smith’s book, “An Unlikely Angel”, Captive is based on the true events of an escaped prisoner who takes revenge on the people who put him in jail and takes a young woman hostage.

Oyelowo will play the convict, Brian Nichols, while Mara will play Smith, the woman Nichols takes hostage.  Leonor Varela (Dallas) and Mimi Rogers (Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery) round out the cast.  Captive is scheduled to begin principal photography this month.

CAPTIVE is a thriller based on true events that occurred in Atlanta, Ga., on March 11, 2005.

Brian Nichols (Oyelowo) breaks out of the courthouse jail and shoots dead the judge assigned to his case as well as a court reporter, sheriff’s deputy, and FBI officer.

While eluding a statewide manhunt, Nichols takes Ashley Smith (Mara), a single mother struggling with meth addiction, hostage in her own apartment.

Over the course of her harrowing ordeal, Smith desperately uses a book she has been given, Rick Warren’s THE PURPOSE DRIVEN LIFE, to reason with her captor — with surprising and unforeseen results.

The ten year old series is back allowing both men and women to compete with female models for the chance to become the title of Top Model.

Casting has already begun for the upcoming cycle. Much as it has in this summer’s version, “America’s Next Top Model” will again feature both men and women trying to win the competition in order to kickstart a modeling career. Casting directors for CBS ‘Shameless’ is currently seeking extras to work on two big days in Chicago, IL. 

Shameless is a TV Drama/Comedy  that airs on Showtime. It is a remake of the British series Shameless that premiered in the United Kingdom. Shameless is set in Chicago’s South Side neighborhoods and follows the lives of a dysfunctional family of Frank Gallagher, a single father of six children. Even though he spends his days drunk, his kids learn how to manage by themselves.

Shameless features William H. Macy, Emmy Rossum, Justin Chatwin, Ethan Cutkosky, Shanola Hampton, Steve Howey, Emma Kenney, Cameron Monaghan, Jeremey Allen White, and Laura Slade Wiggins. Shameless is also produced by John Wells, Paul Abbot, and Andrew Stearn in association with Bonanza Productions, John Wells Productions, Warner Bros. Television, and Showtime Networks.

Its that time again…”SHAMELESS” is back in town for 5 days of filming, starting on Mon. Nov 11th.

We will have at least 2 big extras days….a tailgate party at Soldier
Field and a flash mob at UIC. Those dates are TBD. We will also have a grade school scene that will need lots of minors….we will be posting up a separate availability form just for minors., so be watching for that if you have kids with a permits.

‘Fast and Furious 7’ Male Stand In Casting Call in Atlanta

Casting directors are currently casting stand ins for “Fast and the Furious 7″ in Atlanta, Georgia.

Access Atlanta was the first to report the casting call. According to the article by Jennifer Brett Fast and Furious 7 will start filming in the metro Atlanta area.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, expect to see Dwayne Johnson, Paul Walker, Vin Diesel, Tyrese Gibson, and Michelle Rodriguez.

According to IMDB the movie will center on “After Dominic Toretto and his crew helped take down Owen Shaw, his brother Ian Shaw now wants revenge.”

CL Casting will be handling all background extra and stand-in positions for the upcoming feature film.
