CW Television Series “The Originals” Extras Casting Call for a 1920’s party scene

Tammy Smith Casting is currently looking for men and women ages 20 to 50 for a 1920’s party scene next Thursday, January 16th.

The Originals is a spin-off from The Vampire Diaries and set in New Orleans, The Originals centers on the Mikaelson siblings, otherwise known as the world’s original vampires: Klaus (Joseph Morgan), Elijah (Daniel Gillies), and Rebekah (Claire Holt).

It was revealed during the backdoor pilot, aired on April 25, 2013, that recurring werewolf character Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) is pregnant with Klaus’ child.

Now Klaus must take down his protégé, Marcel (Charles Michael Davis), who is now in charge of New Orleans, in order to re-take his city, as he originally built New Orleans.

Klaus departed from the city after being chased down by his father Mikael, while it was being constructed and Marcel took charge.

As Klaus has returned after many years, his ego has provoked him to become the king of the city.

“Psych” Actor Corbin Bernsen Extras Casting Calls in Los Angeles

Producers and casting directors for the upcoming feature film starring Corbin Bernsen are currently seeking extras to work on the upcoming movie.

Corbin Bernsen, former L.A. Law and Psych actor has recently selected Central Valley City, Turlock, California as the location for his next movie. The untilted romantic comedy which Corbin Bernsen wrote and will direct, begins filming the first week of December.

“We’re very excited to head up to Turlock and make our next community-based film. That’s really what Home Theater Films is all about – making movies with a community for community,” Bernsen said.

Corbin Bernsen gained his fame and acclaim playing the divorce lawyer Arnie Becker for all eight seasons of the hit drama ‘L.A. Law’. The role allowed him to earn an Emmy and Golden Globe nominations. The actor has crossed over into the big screen with movies such as ‘Major League’ and in 2010 Corbin Bernsen started writing and directing his won projects for Home Theater Films.

‘He Got Game 2’: Spike Lee and Ray Allen Discuss a Possible Sequel

Jesus Shuttlesworth aka Ray Allen may return to the big screen in a “He Got Game” sequel.

Miami Heat guard Ray Allen, who played Shuttlesworth in the cult classic “He Got Game”, directed by Spike Lee, recently commented that he is interested in doing a sequel.

ESPN recently reported that, filmmaker Spike Lee and Ray Allen have spent time the last couple of months discussing a possible sequel and are currently throwing ideas back and forth.

“Sequels to most movies are always fluff and not as good as the first. But it’s something we’ve been talking about for the last couple months. If we get a really good story line and are able to bring everybody back, then it would be something worth doing.”

Spike Lee posted a photo of himself and Allen to twitter last summer, saying then that they were discussing a possible sequel.

Ray Allen, who still gets called “Jesus” by teammates — said he’s committed to making it happen.

“Hopefully it works out,” said Allen, whose character in the film was a highly recruited high school basketball star.

In the original, “He Got Game” feature film, Denzel Washington played Ray Allen’s father, a prisoner who was paroled for one week in order to persuade his son to sign with the governor’s alma mater.

It is no lie that “He Got Game” is still a cult classic. The feature film has even made it’s way to the NBA with Ray Allen wearing “J. Shuttlesworth” on his jersey for a number of upcoming Heat Games. 

“Not one day goes by where I walk in here and guys don’t say that they didn’t watch it last night or it wasn’t on,” Allen said. “I don’t know who’s in charge of delegating what gets on TV, but it seems like that movie’s been on a lot the last two or three months.”

The first time Allen will wear his character’s name, Jesus Shuttlesworth on his NBA jersey is Friday, when the Miami Heat visit the Brooklyn Nets.

“We’ve got to get Denzel and we’ve got to get Rosario,” Allen said. “Obviously, it’s been 15 or 20 years, so there’s so many new story lines to talk about.”

Ray Allen is not the only one on the Miami Heat with movie deals. Recently, King James, Lebron James announced he will be doing a feature film with Kevin Hart. Either way, the Heat have a star studded cast on and off the court.

Casting directors and producers for ABC Television Series ‘Mindgames’ are currently looking for a male photo double in Chicago, Illinois.

Casting Alert! For our other show we are looking for a male photo double for one of the main actors. AMC’s pilot ‘Halt and Catch Fire’ is set in the early 1980s, it dramatizes the personal computing boom through the eyes of a visionary, Joe (Lee Pace); an engineer, Gordon (Scoot McNairy); and a prodigy, Cameron (Mackenzie Davis), whose innovations directly confront the corporate behemoths of the time. The project was written on spec by Chris Cantwell and Chris Rogers, who will exec produce with Lisco, Mark Johnson and Melissa Bernstein. The pilot was directed by Juan José Campanella.

4 Star Casting is currently seeking models for an upcoming print ad. There are two locations and they are looking for featured models to work on the project. Talent selected will get paid $25/hour for a featured role. However, extra roles will be compensated $50/day for the day.

SHOOT DATES: Mon., 1/13 OR Tue. 1/14
LOCATION: TBD (MUST HAVE OWN TRANSPORTATION), but it will be interior scenes, with some being in their cars
PAY: For Featured $25 per hour, 4 hour guarantee – CASH
For Extra $50/day, however don’t expect more than 6 hours – CASHIf the shoot goes over 6 hours, you would be provided a meal. Parking is included.
