“Louder Than Bombs” Starring Jesse Eisenberg will extend auditions for one more week.
The deadline for actors interested in auditioning for a lead role in the upcoming feature film “Louder Than Bombs” has been extended. According to reports, actors have until July 29th to submit.
“Louder Than Bombs” features Jesse Eisenberg (The Social Network), Isabelle Huppert and Gabriel Byrne. The movie is written and directed by Joachim Trier.
The movie centers around a photographer whose family discovers secrets from her past after her death. There are two roles available. The lead role of Conrad and the role of Melanie. Filming for “Louder than Bombs” will take place in New York City later this year.

Warner Bros. is currently making moves and ramping up production for several new feature films.
Variety reports that Mark Romanek will direct Overlook hotel, a Glen Mazzara-scrpited prequel to Stephen King’s 1977 book The Shining, about the early days of the Overlook Hotel, that were glimpsed in the final scenes of the Stanley-Kubrick directed movie.
It is interesting to note that Stephen King did not really like Stanely Kubrick’s original take on his great novel, but even though it’s much different from Stephen King’s classic novel.
Warner Bros. is also planning on developing Space Invaders, based on the 1980s Japanese import arcade game.
Space Invaders served as inspiration for the upcoming movie Pixels, which stars Adam Sandler and Peter Dinklage and was based on a Patrick Jean-directed short film of the same name. It too will feature an alien invasion inspired by — and, in the film, caused by — classic arcade games.
Hollywood has designs on turning other classic arcade games, like Asteroids and Missile Command, into feature films.

Tyler Perry is currently getting sued for alleged unfair dealings with government officials.
The AP reports that an Atlanta-based entertainment company is suing Tyler Perry for working unfairly with government officials in order to obtain a military base and turn it into a movie studio.
Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed issued a statement regarding negotiations several months ago.
“Today’s unanimous vote by the McPherson Implementing Local Redevelopment Authority to begin negotiations with Tyler Perry Studios for the acquisition of a significant Fort McPherson property is an important step forward in the long-term economic and social sustainability of the base and its surrounding communities. Over the course of the next thirty days, the City will remain actively engaged in a robust conversation about the future of the property.”
Ubiquitous Entertainment Studios, an entertainment company in Atlanta, Georgia filed a federal lawsuit this week against Tyler Perry, the US Army and a “government authority working to redevelop Fort McPherson” as defendants.
According to the Associate Press, “Ubiquitous says its CEO met with the authority’s chairman in December 2011 to share its vision of creating a movie studio and entertainment complex at the site. The company says Perry tried to persuade the authority to negotiate a similar deal with his company instead.”
Attorneys for the Ubiquitous Entertainment Studios told the AJC, that the company was in the process of developing a movie studio on the closed Fort for several years. Furthermore, they believe that the McPherson Implementing Local Redevelopment Authority’s actions are a violation of the authority’s rules, regulations and by-laws.
“In effect, MILRA [McPherson Implementing Local Redevelopment Authority] confirmed an exclusive franchise or property interest in the Ft. McPherson property to Perry and [Tyler Perry Studios] on a non-bid, non-request for proposal basis, with no advance public notice to give UES and other potential property developers an opportunity to compete for this real estate development. These acts and omissions of MILRA in this regard were arbitrary and capricious government conduct.”
Ubiquitous Entertainment Studios is asking for declaratory judgement and damages for incident.
This is not the only piece of property Tyler Perry has purchased in the last year. Perry recently bought 1,100 acres in Douglasville, Georgia. There are no details as to what he plans to do with all the land but, it is believed that he will build another movie studio.

Recounting the jazzy life story of legendary cornet player Buddy Bolden, the film began its initial production in early 2007. It is the passion project of Hyatt Hotels heir and writer/director Dan Pritzker, who has reportedly funneled millions into the film.

NBC ‘Constantine’ casting call for extras in Atlanta, Georgia.
The drama ‘Constantine’ is based on the Hellblazergraphic novels. The series centers on master of the occult John Constantine, who is struggling with his faith and is haunted by the sins he committed in the past. But, he put into the role of defending humanity from the forces of darkness.
The character first appeared in Alan Moore’s The Saga of the Swamp Thing. The comic was turned into a feature film starring Keanu Reeves.
