‘Vacation’ Reboot Now Hiring Ed Helm’s Photo Double in Atlanta, Georgia

Ed Helms stars in the New Line Cinema reboot of the Vacation film series as Rusty Griswald, the son of Chevy Chase’s iconic character of the original four films. Vacation stars Ed Helms and Christina Applegate and Horrible Bosses‘ directors’ John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein write and direct.

Casting directors are looking for Caucasian men ages 20 to 50 to work as stand-in for Ed Helm’s new movie ‘Vacation’. Producers are also looking for a fit model for Ed Helms. According to the casting call, a fit model “is someone similar in size to an actor that comes in to try on wardrobe that they have in mind for the character when that actor is not available for a fitting.”

FBI agents investigate an alleged Kardashian blackmailer in Los Angeles.

A team of FBI agents have raided a room at a Los Angeles hotel as part of a sting into an alleged blackmail plot against Kim Kardashian’s mother Kris Jenner.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians executive producer, star, and mother, Kris Jenner called police earlier this year after she claimed she had received hundreds of phone calls and texts from strangers to release a sex tape featuring Kris Jenner. According to reports, Kris Jenner was adamant that the sex tape does not exist, and cops got help from FBI agents. FBI agents searched a guest’s room and seized a cellphone, laptop and other devices. However, no arrests were made.

Hank Williams Biopic ‘I Saw the Light’ Open Casting Call for Speaking Roles, Extras and Cars in Louisiana.

The film, “I Saw the Light” is the story of Hank Williams, starring Tom Hiddleston as Hank Williams. Casting directors are seeking actors for speaking roles.

According to Bustle, “I Saw the Light” features Tom Hiddleston (Avengers) as Hank Williams Sr. The movie will center around the life and times of the country music legend, Hank Williams. Despite his major country music success, Hank Williams had a difficult life. Hank Williams suffered severe back pain, alcoholism and prescription drug abuse. It affected his health in highly negative ways, and he was fired by the Grand Ole Opry because of unreliability and frequent drunkenness. The country music singer died on January 1, 1953, at the age of 29 as a result of heart failure caused by pills and alcohol.

Filming for the Hank Williams Biopic “I Saw The Light” will film in Shreveport, Louisiana starting Mid October. Casting directors will be holding an open casting call for speaking and non-speaking roles. Legacy Casting and Tracy Kilpatrick of “The Casting Office” is holding an open casting call for actors, models, extras and cars for the feature film, “I Saw the Light“.

According to the casting call, an open casting call will be held on Sunday, September 14th from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m at 6901 W. 70th Shreveport, Louisiana 71129.

“Also we are looking for extras of all ages (mostly adults) and anyone who has any “western outfits” should attend the open call wearing those outfits. NBC ‘Constantine’ Casting Call for actors, models and talent in Atlanta.

The drama ‘Constantine’ is based on the Hellblazer graphic novels. The series centers on master of the occult John Constantine, who is struggling with his faith and is haunted by the sins he committed in the past. But, he put into the role of defending humanity from the forces of darkness.

5 Tips Actors Should be Using on their Business Cards

How to make yourself stand out as an actor with only your business card.

Actors, models, and talents have to always focus on branding and marketing themselves. One popular way of getting your name out there is by purchasing tons of business cards and passing them out to everyone you see in hopes you get discovered. But does that work? What should you put on your business card, so it stands out? How can your business card make you memorable?

Here are five things you should be doing when it comes to designing and handing out your business card.

Keep it simple. Avoid a flashy design.
Actor business cards should always have your headshot.
Keep in mind most people will throw away your business card.
Make sure to feature your contact information, so people know how to contact you.
Business cards are not cheap, give your business card to people that can help you.

Business cards will not land you a starring role on a feature film, and most people will end up throwing them away. I would suggest a simple design featuring a small picture. By keeping it simple will help directors, producers, and filmmakers remember you and increase your chances of getting the call for the landing role.

‘Minority Report’ TV sequel is ramping up production

Update: According to The Hollywood Reporter, Fox has picked up to pilot the sequel to the Minority Report feature film.

The sci-fi drama was reported as one of the hottest productions in Hollywood, and Fox is going all in to see this pilot produced.

From The Hollywood Reporter:

The Minority Report follow-up takes place 10 years after the end of Precrime in D.C., when one of the three Precogs struggles to lead a “normal” human life, but remains haunted by visions of the future. He meets a detective haunted by her past who just may help him find a purpose to his gift.

(September 9, 2014) Do you remember Minority Report?A futuristic crime thriller by Steven Spielberg centering around a cop who worked with a specialized police department that used telepaths to predict when a person was going to commit a crime, before the crime ever happened. It was an interesting concept, and in 2002 it was ahead of its time. Well, it looks like Fox is giving the sci-fi drama a TV reboot.

According to reports, Fox plans on launching a female-led sequel to the movie which will take place 10 years after the end of the Precrime in D.C., and focuses on a former “Precog” or telepath and his attempt to lead a normal life while still experiencing visions of the future. The Precog later teams up with a struggling detective and they work together to use his gift for good.
