Job Description

A non-union background casting project is seeking men and women for an upcoming production in Nashville, Tennessee. Casting directors are looking for talent ages 18–65 who own 2026-era vehicles and can portray everyday pedestrians in background scenes. This is a local hire opportunity and talent must be available for the entire filming day if selected.

Job Responsibilities

• Portray pedestrians and background characters in production scenes
• Provide a 2026-era vehicle for use in filming if requested
• Follow direction from the production team and assistant directors
• Maintain continuity and professionalism throughout filming
• Remain available for the duration of the scheduled production day

Requirements

• Ages 18–65
• Open to all genders
• Must be a local hire in the Nashville, Tennessee area
• Must own a 2026-era vehicle
• White or red vehicles are not eligible for this project
• Must be available for a potentially extended filming day
• Reliable and able to follow on-set instructions
• Comfortable working as background talent

Compensation

• $100 for 8 hours
• Additional $30 vehicle bump
• Eight-hour guaranteed rate
• Time-and-a-half overtime after eight hours
