Job Description

A student short film titled “The Art of Making Mistakes” is seeking actors for a dark comedy filming in the Westminster and Denver, Colorado area. The story follows an overproductive father who has worked hard to provide for his family and his son, who must confront the consequences of his father’s absence. Several lead and supporting roles are available for adults and a child actor.

Job Responsibilities

• Portray an assigned character authentically within a dark comedy and family drama.
• Prepare for and perform scripted scenes under the director’s guidance.
• Collaborate professionally with fellow actors and the student production team.
• Bring emotional depth, comedic timing, and strong character choices to the role.
• Participate in approximately four to five days of filming in the Denver and Westminster area.

Requirements

• Larry: Hispanic male actor, early 30s, to portray a macho, hardworking father who realizes he has sacrificed meaningful time with his family.
• Xavier: Hispanic boy, ages 8–12, to portray a curious, stubborn child writing a school report about his enigmatic father.
• Tom: Male actor, any race, ages 40s–50s, to portray a professional construction company boss who keeps his distance from coworkers.
• Maria: Hispanic female actor, early 30s, to portray a fiercely protective, traditional mother balancing forgiveness and discipline.
• Must be able to work in the Denver and Westminster, Colorado area.
• Must be comfortable performing material that blends dark comedy with family drama.

Compensation

• Meals provided during production.
• Snacks and drinks provided during production.
• Cast members will receive access to the completed short film after post-production.

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Social Media Coordinator who is comfortable not only producing content but being part of the content. As a Social Media Coordinator, you will be instrumental in managing and enhancing the company presence across various social media platforms. You will also be responsible for creating engaging content, monitoring social media trends, and assisting with promotional campaigns. Must be able to go onsite Tuesday-Thursday in office in the Denver Metro area, no remote applicants please. Responsibilities:• Craft and manage engaging content for various social media platforms• Monitor social media trends and apply the insights to enhance our social media strategy• Assist in managing and executing promotional campaigns across various social media platforms• Use Facebook Insights and Google+ to analyze the performance of our social media campaigns and make necessary adjustments• Stay updated with industry trends and make recommendations for enhancing our social media strategy• Use your skills in corporate social media to strengthen our brand presence• Assist in the production of social media content, ensuring it aligns with our brand’s voice and objectives• Respond to customer queries and comments on social media platforms, providing excellent customer service• Collaborate with other teams to ensure our social media strategy aligns with our overall company goals• Use your knowledge of social media management to ensure our social media platforms remain organized and up-to-date.
