A long-term vérité documentary is seeking an experienced Director of Photography (DP) for an upcoming shoot in Lexington, Kentucky. The production follows a seven-year story about recovery and is looking for a cinematographer with a strong visual style who can adapt quickly to real-life situations. Applicants with their own camera equipment are preferred.

Job Responsibilities

• Serve as the Director of Photography for a documentary shoot.
• Capture cinematic, observational footage in a vérité style.
• Adapt quickly to unfolding real-life events.
• Collaborate with the director to achieve the project’s visual vision.

Requirements

• Experience as a Director of Photography (DP).
• Strong cinematic eye.
• Ability to work in documentary environments.
• Camera and production equipment preferred.
• Available to film on July 6 in Lexington, Kentucky.
