A major motion picture is casting professional stand-ins to support principal actors during filming. These roles are essential for lighting, camera setup, and scene blocking on a large-scale production. Both SAG-AFTRA and non-union talent are encouraged to apply. This opportunity is open to local talent able to work in the Buffalo and surrounding Western New York area.

Job Responsibilities

• Serve as a stand-in for principal or child actors during technical setups

• Match height, build, posture, and movement accurately

• Follow direction from assistant directors and camera crew

• Remain available on set for lighting and rehearsal adjustments

• Maintain professionalism throughout long production days

Available Stand-In Roles & Requirements

• Native Man Stand-In

  • Male, ages 35–60

  • Height approximately 5’11”–6’1”

  • Indigenous background preferred

  • Burly build

  • Approximate sizing: chest 40–43, waist 34–38, suit 42–44

• Father Stand-In

  • Male, ages 30–55

  • Height approximately 6’0”–6’1”

  • Caucasian, dark, or salt-and-pepper hair

  • Average build

  • Approximate sizing: waist 32–34, shirt L, suit 42

• Adult Stand-In for Child Actor

  • Male or female, 18+

  • Height approximately 4’3”–4’5”

  • Slender build

  • Blonde, dirty blonde, or brunette hair
