Job Responsibilities:

• Perform traditional East Asian drumming for scenes in a professional film/TV production.
• Collaborate with other musicians and performers to deliver seamless musical sequences.
• Follow direction from production team and adhere to scene requirements for drumming style, timing, and intensity.
• Participate in rehearsals as needed to ensure precision and synchronization.
• Maintain focus and professionalism during long working hours on set.

Requirements:

• Must have experience in East Asian drumming, preferably with traditional instruments like taiko or other similar drums.
• Must be of East Asian descent to match the cultural authenticity required for the role.
• Ability to follow instructions, adapt to changes, and work in a team environment.
• Punctuality and reliability are a must.
• Prior on-set or live performance experience is an advantage, but not mandatory.
• Must be available for all work dates in Burnaby.
