Job Description
A film production is casting Southeast Asian talent for paid on-screen roles filming in the Gold Coast region of Australia. Casting is especially interested in Vietnamese, Laotian, and Cambodian communities, with additional interest in Chinese and Thai ethnicities. Opportunities may include background acting, featured extras, and supporting artist roles for kids, teens, adults, and seniors. This is a strong fit for performers who want real on-set experience and authentic cultural representation on screen.

Job Responsibilities

• Appear on camera as a background actor, featured extra, or supporting artist

• Follow direction from the production team to help shape realistic scenes

• Maintain continuity (wardrobe, positioning, movement) across multiple takes

• Bring authentic presence and natural reactions appropriate to the scene

Requirements

• Southeast Asian talent of all ages (approximately ages 3–100)

• Particularly seeking Vietnamese, Laotian, and Cambodian talent

• Chinese and Thai ethnicities also encouraged to apply

• Must be based in South East Queensland / Gold Coast area, Australia

• Comfortable working on a film set for single-day or multi-day bookings
