A film production is casting Southeast Asian talent for paid on-screen roles filming in the Gold Coast region of Australia. Casting is especially interested in Vietnamese, Laotian, and Cambodian communities, with additional interest in Chinese and Thai ethnicities. Opportunities may include background acting, featured extras, and supporting artist roles for kids, teens, adults, and seniors. Job Responsibilities

• Appear on camera as a background actor, featured extra, or supporting artist

• Follow direction from the production team to help shape realistic scenes

Requirements

• Southeast Asian talent of all ages (approximately ages 3–100)

• Particularly seeking Vietnamese, Laotian, and Cambodian talent

• Must be based in South East Queensland / Gold Coast area, Australia

• Comfortable working on a film set for single-day or multi-day bookings

Job Description
A paid social video and stills shoot is seeking real Southeast Asian talent for a professional production creating short-form, TikTok-style content. This project is looking for Indonesian, Thai, and Vietnamese performers who are charismatic, engaging, and comfortable moving on camera. You don’t need to be a professional actor or model—natural energy and a confident on-camera presence are what matter most. Content will be filmed with a full creative team (director, stylist, hair, and makeup), and you will not be expected to create anything on your own.

Job Responsibilities

• Appear in short-form social video content and still photography on a professional set
• Follow direction for movement, expressions, and simple performance beats
• Bring a natural, charismatic presence that feels real and relatable on camera
• Maintain professionalism, punctuality, and consistency across takes

Requirements

• Indonesian, Thai, or Vietnamese talent
• Ages 25–50
• Open to all genders and gender expressions
• Open to all shapes and sizes
• Must be NYC local
• No visible tattoos on face, neck, or hands (hands may be workable if easily covered)
• Comfortable moving on camera and staying expressive/engaging

Compensation

• $600/day
