Job Description

A nonprofit documentary is casting non-speaking background roles for a project filming in and around Birmingham, Alabama. Casting directors are seeking African American and White performers across multiple age groups to help tell an inspiring story through authentic visual storytelling. This is a great opportunity for individuals interested in participating in a meaningful documentary production.

Job Responsibilities

• Portray assigned background roles in documentary reenactment scenes.
• Follow direction from the production team.
• Maintain professionalism throughout filming.
• Help create authentic, story-driven scenes.

Requirements

• Seeking the following talent:
  • African American boys, ages 6–9 and 10–11.
  • African American teenage boys, ages 14–19.
  • African American girls, ages 4–7 and 5–11.
  • African American teenage girls, ages 14–19.
  • African American woman, ages 21–25.
  • African American woman, age 60+.
  • African American man, ages 40–55.
  • White boys, ages 6–9 and 10–11.
  • White girl, ages 5–8.
  • White woman, ages 21–25.
• Must be available to work in the Birmingham, Alabama area.
