Synopses: Centered around a detention center a mysterious creature appears and receives the same treatment as those seeking political asylum. 

  • CARMINE, Female, Hispanic/Latinx, age range 25-30, Carmine seeks political asylum in the US, however  she must endure being forcefully separated from her five year old daughter. (Bilingual Role Spanish/English) 

  • YESENIA, Female, Hispanic/Latinx, age range 6-10, Fleeing violence in her home country, Yesenia and her Mother are placed in a US Detention Center. She is forcefully separated from her mother and befriends a kind Gray Alien. **Must be able to show extreme emotion (Bilingual Role Spanish/English) 

  • AGENT WHITE, Male, Caucasian, age range 30-40, a Border Patrol Agent who enjoys his job. He especially enjoys the chase and control he has over the detained Crossers. Tall and Large statured. 

  • AGENT MILLS, Female, Caucasian, age range 35-45, a female Border Patrol Agent focused on moving up the ladder. She is cold and lacks compassion for the problems of the detained Crossers.
  • AGENT JONES, Male, Caucasian, age range late 30’s, he is a family man, a Border Patrol Agent that does not enjoy the duties of his job.
  • BUREAUCRAT, Male, Caucasian, age range 40’s-50’s, job is to manage an intake processing desk to determine the language spoken by the various Crossers. He must interface with the Grey Alien, various Crossers, and a Native American. 

  • DOCTOR, Male, Caucasian, age range 60’s-70’s, an uncaring physician, more preoccupied with processing a volume of patients, than their wellbeing. Not even having a Grey Alien for a patient interrupts his focus on his computer screen. 

  • BOMO, Male, African American/Black, age range 30’s, an African immigrant seeking a new life in the US. With nothing to his name, he still projects the strength and wisdom of a philosopher king.
  • SERGIO, Male, Hispanic/Latinx, age range 40’s, in the process of illegally crossing the border, Sergio was separated from his wife. No one seems to be able to help find her. *Heavy Spanish Accent 

  • INDIGENOUS CROSSER, Male, Central American/Native American/Multi Ethnic, age range 25-35, he iis on a spiritual walk through his ancestors land.
  • REPORTER, Female, Caucasian, age range early 30’s, polished and professional, she is looking for answers as to why children are being separated from their parents. **Previous field reporting experience or on camera journalism experience is a plus! 

  • AGENT LOPEZ, Female, Hispanic/Latinx, age range 30’s, a Border Patrol Agent, she is trying to come to terms with how her job conflicts with her Christian faith.

Commercial Project Casting Call – Multiple Roles

  • Partygoer – “Peripheral Guy”
    Male performers ages 21–25. African American or Hispanic. Natural, relaxed presence for a party scene.

Requirements

  • Must be local to Richmond, Virginia

  • Comfortable on camera in lifestyle or social environments

  • Available for fitting and shoot

  • Willing to submit a self-tape audition

Compensation

  • $500 session fee + 20% (based on a 10-hour session)

  • $600 usage fee + 20% (usage details TBD)

  • $75 fitting fee (up to 4 hours)
