Job Detail: We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our SKYCAM crew for an exciting college football event – MSU vs Iowa at Kinnick Stadium. As a SKYCAM Utility / Reel Watcher, you will play a vital role in capturing the thrilling moments of the game from above.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with the setup and maintenance of the SKYCAM equipment.
- Ensure the safety and security of the SKYCAM system during the event.
- Monitor the SKYCAM footage in real-time, making adjustments as needed to capture the best shots.
- Communicate effectively with the SKYCAM operator to follow the action on the field.
- Be alert and responsive to any technical issues or changes in game dynamics.
- Maintain clear communication with the production team for a seamless broadcast.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure work environment.
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to stay focused during fast-paced events.
- Excellent communication skills to work as part of a team.
- Ability to follow instructions and take direction effectively.
- Prior experience in a similar role or familiarity with live broadcast environments is a plus.
- Physically capable of standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Flexibility to work on the specified dates (9/28 and/or 9/30).
- Positive attitude and a passion for live sports broadcasting.
Compensation:
- For 9/28 (One-day job): $125 for a 5-hour shift.
- For 9/30 (Two-day job): $250 for a 10-hour commitment.
