PSA Actor/Model for Child Abuse Prevention Project (Adults & Kids)

Job Description: We are seeking individuals of all ethnicities, ages 2 to 45, to participate in a public service announcement (PSA) project aimed at raising awareness for child abuse prevention. This is a meaningful opportunity to contribute to an important cause. The project does not contain any sensitive content and is focused on conveying a positive and educational message to the community. Both adults and children are encouraged to apply.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Participate in a PSA shoot that will focus on the prevention of child abuse.
  • Engage in on-camera work to help communicate the message of child abuse prevention.
  • Follow the direction of the production team during the shoot.
  • Collaborate with other actors, models, and production staff to ensure the success of the project.

Requirements:

  • Must be between the ages of 2 and 45.
  • Must be located within a two-hour driving distance from Columbia, SC.
  • For children under 18, a parent or guardian must be present on set and submit their name along with the child’s application.
  • Ability to follow directions and work well with a team.
  • Must submit two recent photos (a smiling snapshot and a full-body image) along with the application.
  • Indicate if multiple family members are applying; all family members can submit photos together, properly labeled.
  • Comfortable working in a diverse environment with people of all ages and backgrounds.

Compensation:

  • Pay rate is between $100 to $200, depending on the role.
  • Compensation is for a half-day shoot.

Casting Call: Nationwide – Idaho Healthcare PSA

Job Description: We are casting a bilingual (English/Spanish) male actor for an upcoming healthcare PSA being filmed in Boise, Idaho. The role requires a charismatic and approachable individual who can convey warmth and sincerity on camera. The selected talent will participate in both video and radio sessions, delivering key messages for the healthcare campaign. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is comfortable speaking to the camera and can seamlessly switch between English and Spanish with a neutral accent.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform in a healthcare PSA, delivering lines in both English and Spanish with the necessary warmth and charisma.
  • Engage with the camera naturally, creating a believable and sincere presence.
  • Participate in both video and radio recording sessions as part of the campaign.
  • Travel to Boise, Idaho, for filming, with all travel expenses covered by the production.
  • Memorize lines prior to the shoot, with a teleprompter available on set for timing and consistency.

Requirements:

  • Male, aged 30-35, Caucasian (or able to pass as Caucasian).
  • Medium build, appears healthy but not overly fit or manicured.
  • Must be bilingual with a neutral Spanish accent and no accent when speaking English.
  • Clean-shaven or with well-maintained facial hair; glasses are optional.
  • Charismatic, warm, friendly, and comfortable speaking to the camera.
  • Approachable, with a natural and sincere demeanor.
  • Willing to travel to Boise, Idaho, with travel expenses covered.

Compensation:

  • Video Session Fee: $600
  • Radio Session Fee: $400
  • Buyout/Usage Fee (Broadcast/CTV/Social Use): $1,500
  • Buyout/Usage Fee (Radio): $1,000
  • Travel Compensation: $200/day (one travel day, contingent on the recording session schedule)
  • Per Diem: $65/day
  • Airport Transfers: Up to $50 each way (maximum 4 trips, reimbursed per receipt)
  • Air Travel & Hotel: Arranged and covered by production.
