Production Assistant Casting Call for Short Film

Job Description:
We’re seeking a motivated Production Assistant to support an emotionally rich student short film shooting across London locations. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in film production while contributing to a meaningful project exploring cross-cultural family dynamics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with on-set production needs and logistics

• Support equipment transport and setup

• Help coordinate between departments

• Provide general production support as needed

Ideal Candidate:

• Holds a valid UK driver’s license (vehicle ownership a plus)

• Available for at least 1 shoot day (July 5-8)

• Can assist with prep day on July 4th (highly valued)

• No prior experience required – enthusiasm welcome!

Production Details:

• Project: 20-minute student short film

• Themes: Identity, family separation, cross-cultural relationships

• Locations: South London (Norbury) & Royal Holloway Egham Campus
