An exciting opportunity for a Hair & Makeup Artist to contribute to a poignant student short film about cultural identity and family bonds. We particularly need someone skilled in ageing techniques to transform a character’s appearance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create natural ageing makeup effects

• Design and maintain character-appropriate hairstyles

• Work efficiently in a fast-paced student production environment

• Collaborate with director to achieve desired looks

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience with ageing makeup techniques

• Ability to create subtle, realistic transformations

• Own basic makeup kit (specialty products may be provided)

• Professional attitude on set

Production Details:

• Project: 20-minute dramatic short film

• Themes: Cross-cultural identity, mother-daughter relationships

• Shoot Locations: South London (Norbury) & Royal Holloway Egham Campus

• Shoot Dates: July 5-8, 2025 (4 days)

We’re seeking a motivated Production Assistant to support an emotionally rich student short film shooting across London locations. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in film production while contributing to a meaningful project exploring cross-cultural family dynamics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with on-set production needs and logistics

• Support equipment transport and setup

• Help coordinate between departments

• Provide general production support as needed

Ideal Candidate:

• Holds a valid UK driver’s license (vehicle ownership a plus)

• Available for at least 1 shoot day (July 5-8)

• Can assist with prep day on July 4th (highly valued)

• No prior experience required – enthusiasm welcome!
