Job Description: The Atlanta Film Society is seeking a dedicated and experienced Operations Senior Manager to join our team. This position involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of the organization and ensuring the smooth execution of events and programs.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage the operational aspects of the Atlanta Film Society’s year-round programs and the annual Atlanta Film Festival.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless event planning and execution.
  • Oversee logistics, including venue management, equipment, and scheduling.
  • Manage budgets and financial planning for operations and events.
  • Supervise and support staff, volunteers, and interns to ensure high performance and engagement.
  • Handle any operational issues that arise, ensuring prompt resolution.
  • Liaise with external partners, vendors, and stakeholders to build and maintain strong relationships.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in operations management, preferably within the film or entertainment industry.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with budget management and financial planning.
  • Proficient in using relevant software and tools for operations management.
  • Passion for film and the arts is a plus.
  • Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
