Job Description: We invite experienced actors to audition for the ongoing West End run of “Operation Mincemeat” at The Fortune Theatre. This high-energy, character-driven comedy seeks talented individuals who excel in acting, singing, and dance (triple-threat), with a particular emphasis on strong comedic skills. The production values diversity and inclusivity, opening its doors wide to performers of all identities.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver a strong comedic performance with the ability to handle multiple roles.
- Exhibit excellent vocal skills and compelling stage presence.
- Demonstrate highly competent movement and dance skills, quickly mastering choreography.
- Employ various accents authentically, with rapping ability as an added advantage.
- Participate in all rehearsals and performances as scheduled.
- Collaborate effectively with the ensemble and production team.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in comedy acting, preferably with improvisation and multi-role background.
- Strong vocal prowess and dance ability.
- Ability to learn and execute complex choreography and staging.
- Proficiency in various accents; rapping skills desirable.
- Open to cisgender, transgender, non-binary, and all members of the trans community.
- Commitment to the entire contract period, with full availability for auditions and rehearsals.

The play follows three lifelong friends whose decades of friendship and banter conceal the things that matter most. Described as funny, raw, and human, the production features three substantial roles and aims to encourage conversations around men’s mental health while supporting awareness and fundraising efforts.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform one of three substantial male roles in ACT TWO
- Participate in the play’s initial research and development process
- Collaborate on character and script development
- Bring authenticity, humor, and emotional depth to the role
- Work collaboratively with the writer and other performers
- Participate in the eventual production, subject to development and funding

- R&D or new-writing experience preferred
