We’re looking for passionate home cooks who have a special family recipe passed down through generations, or a dish that brings everyone together for laughter, love, and delicious food.
In this show, you and a loved one will recreate a signature family meal that reflects your heritage and traditions. Your dish will be presented to judges, featuring a main course and side dishes full of cherished memories and bursting with flavor.
Job Responsibilities:
- Compete as a home cook alongside a family member to recreate and present your family’s signature meal.
- Share the story behind your family recipe and how it represents your heritage.
- Participate in the filming of a cooking competition that highlights both the cooking process and the emotional stories tied to your dishes.
- Collaborate with show producers to capture the essence of your family’s cooking traditions on camera.
Requirements:
- Must be LA-based and able to film locally.
- Open to all passionate home cooks who have a family recipe or dish with sentimental value.
- Must apply as a team of two (yourself and a family member).
- Please submit a brief paragraph explaining why your family’s recipe should be featured, along with the name and details of the family member you want on your team.
- Submit 2-3 recent, clear photos of yourself and your family member (team partner).
