Casting Call: Crew Members for Film “GIRLIEN”

Job Details: We are currently seeking a skilled Sound Operator and an experienced Make-Up Artist with proficiency in face painting for our upcoming film project, “GIRLIEN.”

Job Responsibilities:

Sound Operator:

  • Operate and set up audio equipment, ensuring high-quality sound recording during filming.
  • Monitor and adjust audio levels as necessary to capture clear dialogue and ambient sound.
  • Collaborate closely with the director and cinematographer to achieve the desired audio aesthetic.
  • Troubleshoot and address any technical issues related to sound equipment.

Make-Up Artist (with experience in face painting):

  • Design and execute makeup looks in accordance with the director’s vision and character specifications.
  • Proficiency in face painting techniques for specific scenes or character requirements.
  • Ensure continuity of makeup throughout filming, making necessary touch-ups and adjustments as needed.
  • Work closely with the costume and production team to ensure cohesive overall appearance.

Requirements:

Sound Operator:

  • Proven experience as a sound operator in film or television productions.
  • Proficiency with audio recording equipment and software.
  • Strong understanding of sound design principles and on-set sound management.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing conditions.

Make-Up Artist:

  • Demonstrated experience as a professional make-up artist with a portfolio showcasing face painting expertise.
  • Knowledge of various makeup products and their application techniques.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with the production team.

Date & Location:

  • Date: October 21, 2023
  • Time: 09:00 AM – 06:00 PM
  • Location: Fletcher Area, Barn (Both Exterior and Interior Sets)

Compensation:

  • Flat rate compensation will be provided for both positions.

  • Must be based in or able to work in Los Angeles

  • Open availability between shoot dates or willingness to communicate your schedule
