The film follows a group of stranded improv actors navigating chaos after a failed reality show leaves them abandoned in Europe. Dmitri is a critical figure in the plot, offering depth, menace, and dark humor to the storyline.

Job Responsibilities

  • Portray Dmitri, a calculated and intimidating Estonian investor with mob-boss undertones

  • Collaborate with the director and cast to deliver nuanced and impactful scenes

  • Convey sharp wit, control, and danger while maintaining comedic undertones

  • Work within a fast-paced, ensemble-based production with heavy improv influence

  • Commit to full character development and continuity throughout the shoot

Requirements

  • Male actor, 50s

  • Open ethnicity

  • Must be a Montreal or Quebec local hire

  • Strong acting experience with both dramatic intensity and comedic timing

  • Comfortable working on a SAG Theatrical/ACTRA agreement

  • Should be able to portray intelligence, intimidation, and control with subtlety

Compensation

  • Principal Supporting Role

  • ACTRA Scale: $935.25 CAD/8 hrs, with $175.50 CAD overtime rate

  • 5-week shoot beginning o/a May 21, 2024

  • Work with a professional production team on a scripted, improv-inspired film
